Serena: Hi! Welcome to this... this... uh, what is it called?
Me: Character Intro page...

Serena: Yeah, that.

Eclipsi: I welcome you too. *to the gray wolf* you do smell dragon :)

Mattimeo: Hello everyone... Ooh, you are hunters. I am a hunter too, maybe we can share hunting techniques-

Me: That sounds... fun. Sorry to say we have to leave.

Serena: What, now? I just got started.

Me: Yes. now.

*Serena pouts*
Serena: Fine. Goodbye everyone.

Eclipsi: Until next time.

Mattimeo: Bye! :)

Chayten: I heartily welcome all the new characters. *aside* Let us see if the new arrivals get along better than the previous...

Iri: It's starting to sound like you're on my side again, Dùn. Forsake the company of these knaves once and for all. *grin*

*Aaron narrows his eyes*

Me: I'm sorry, but this is the only place Chayten really gets to express himself. I try to keep a rather tight rein on him during the story so he doesn't spoil the plot. *private word to authors* He's really one of my most confusing characters. If things keep going the way they are currently, he may end up turning back in a future story. I really have no idea what his problem is, but he definitely has some *cough* issues.

Chayten: I heard that.

Me: I must say you are a bit more cheerful and less sulky than last time. I suppose the picture had something to do with it?

Chayten: Maybe.

Arionwyn: *chuckles, then looks around* Hey, where'd Jacy go?

Aaron: Healer's tent, remember?

Arionwyn: *winces* Right. Poor kid.

Kelly: That stray arrow was an unfortunate occurrence.

Me: *eager to change the subject* Wow, I just figured out that you guys have been here since page 4! 4 out of 16 now! Cool!

Aaron: I might have to agree with [whoever said it] about feeling old -- on the forum anyway. Not "real life". *he does a few cartwheels to prove it*

Kelly: *chuckles* Show-off. Forty-one is no "spring chicken".

*Aaron looks at her strangely*

Kelly: It's one of those Earth sayings. Completely silly if you ask me.

Aaron: May I remind you that in Human reckoning, I'm nineteen?

Kelly: Yeah, whatever.

Terra: Thank you so much for the warm welcome :D Mattimeo, it would be wonderful if we could exchange a few tips on hunting.

Malka: *nods approvingly and continues to watch Terra.*

Eli: I would enjoy hunting with you, Mattimeo. May I ask what happened to cause Jacy's arrow incident? :)

Me: Sorry, my characters can be a bit curious ;)

Terra: 'Spring chicken?' *Laughs* what a silly expression :D

Me: Got to go! everyone say goodbye!

Malka: *makes a face similar to a smile and nods*

Terra & Eli: Bye!! :D

Me: I'm afraid it has been some time since I posted here. *frown*

Amondor: Life itself is quite a busy thing, is it not?

Me: *puffs outs breath* Yeah! So much to do before camp starts! 0.o Then I won't be writing at all!

Kyentae: NOOOOOO!!!!!

Makasi: You could on the weekends. *shrug*

Me: I doubt it. I'll most likely be sleeping! Gah!

Amondor: I see what you mean. I appreciate sleep. It's hard to find when training.

Kyentae: Hah! I get always get enough sleep! *gives a lopsided grin to Amondor* You, my friend, favor many hours of sleep.

Amondor: *face reddens* I do not. You favor far too less. Besides, I can't help having insomnia.

Kyentae: *laughs*

Makasi: You two really amuse me. *grins* I'm so glad we met!

Kyentae: It is a pleasure to know you, my friend.

Amondor: Yes, our reuniting was quite unexpected.

Makasi: Haha! Yes, all thanks to your arrow.

Amondor: *suddenly quiet*

Makasi: Oh, I'm sorry Amondor. I was jesting. I did not mean to open old wounds.

Amondor: You're aplogy is accepted.

Me: By the way, Lady Terra, it is a pleasure to have you and your characters on the thread! :D

Amondor: Ah yes, please forgive us for being rude. Welcome! *smiles*

Kyentae: Hah, you'll have a jolly good time here!

Makasi: Here, here!

Me: *laughing* Alright you guys. We better get going. Farewell!

Me: I'm back!!! I had a whole big post, but the stupid computer deleted it! Argh!

Rowen: [Lands with Cory, Lorielle, Tesmir, Seymour, and Rune] Alright, everybody off! My back's killing me. It's good to be back here, though. There are new faces, I see.

Lorielle: Hi new people!

Tesmir: WHY did you have to bring Tilmere?! Why?!

Me: Because i thought it'd be cool to have him here. Oh, and this is Jesse.

Jesse: Hello.

Me: Jesse's from Ainran, another world. Although I'm thinking about maybe combining all three of my worlds. But I don't know how I'd do that yet. Kind of, but not completely. So, with this being said, I take my leave. I'll keep these guys hangin' around to converse.

Jesse: Wait, what? You're just gonna leave me here? What about Phillip and Werynn?

Me: Phillip can't really come because there's already another Phillip, and Werynn's not even in the story. So stay here and make new friends.

Terra: Hello Jesse! It's wonderful to meet you *Smiles*

Malka: *Nods*
(That's pretty much all he does, unless you're a Vasai)

Eli: If you have no where to go, we will gladly let you stay at our camp-site :)

Me: I like the idea of merging worlds... you could always have them mesh together into one, maybe through a catastrophe on one of the planets?

Kyentae: Ah, she's leaving you poor fellows behind to fend for yourselves? Good for her! Time to put the seedlings in the wind to harden them off!

Makasi: You compared them to plants?

Kyentae: Why yes! I thought it was a fine analogy to use. *grin*

Amondor:If I may interupt, Kyentae, welcome Jesse to this place of conversation. *bow*

Makasi: Ah yes, welcome! *dips a quick curtsy and smiles* You'll find friendly company here...for the most part.

Kyentae: Hah! Of course he will! And he'll fit right in as well! *smirks and slaps Jesse on the back* Won't you, my friend?

Me: What have you guys been doing! You didn't even wait up for me!!!

Kyentae: You were slow. *says it as if it's a fact*

Me: *glowers at Kyentae* I'll talk to you later. Off we go! *drags all three of them away by their cloaks*

Eli: I think comparing them to plants was a good analogy :)

Terra: I agree, there is nothing as beautiful as a small seedling....

Eli: *Turns to Jesse and whispers* Nothing more beautiful than Terra ;)

Malka: *Tilts his head at Eli, then looks at Terra*

Terra: *Gasps and blushes* I can't believe you said that Eli, that's very sweet of you. :D

Eli: *To Malka* I can't say anything without you turning around and telling Terra! *Grins at Terra* I think it's time we leave...

Me: You must have very strong cloaks to be able to drag them by it :P I better go catch up with my characters... :D

Serena: Ooh, nice plant analogy :) *winks at Eli* though Eli made it even better.

Me: *to Lady Terra and Zoey* I like the idea of merging the planets due to a catastrophe, then maybe they could be so close, that you could make some sort of 'Gateway' to transport you to each planet :)

Eclipsi: Ooh, I like that idea. :D

Serena: Me too! Oh, I forgot... *turns to Jesse and bows* Welcome Jesse, I'm sure you'll find us as an... interesting bunch. *smiles*

Mattimeo: *shakes Jesse's hand* Good to have you here, Jesse!

Eclipsi: Welcome. *lightly slaps Jesse's back with a wing*

Terra: Serena, It's wonderful to see you again! You shouldn't be filling Eli's head with praise... he can get a bit full of himself, like the way he was before I got to him ;)

Eli: Yes, Well... that was a long time ago. :)

Terra: Long time indeed! Your memory must be failing you, it's been but a few years!

Eli: I feel like I've known you forever ;)

Malka: *raises his furry brow*

Terra: More with you and romance. I think that's my favorite quality of yours :D

Me: I love your idea Serena! Have to go! Everyone can stay here. *Mounts a dragon and flies out of the building*

Eli: She left us? Well, we better get to know everyone better... come over here Jesse... :D

Jesse: [Overwhelemed by all the attention] Um.... ah....

Cory: If this keeps up the newbie's gonna have a hurting back.

Rowen [Smacks Cory with his tail]

Cory: What what that for?!

Rowen: For being rude.

Me: Aye, what Lady Terra said! I can't be with you guys all the time.

Tesmir: But you can't live without us.

Me: Watch me.

Tesmir: I was kidding.

Tilmere: Sarcasm doesn't carry very sucessfully here, little brother.

Tesmir: Nobody asked you.

Seymour: Do not look alarmed, Jesse. Everyone here is very friendly.

Jesse: Yeah, I can see that. It's nice to meet all of you.

Me: Ooh... I like that idea. I had been thinking more of sometinhg like a few folks from each world goes across the ocean and finds the other two.

Tesmir: Rune and Rousen are traveling the ocean.

Me: But they have other plans in the story they're in now, goofball, you know that.

Tesmir: Goofball? What's that?

Me: Never mind. But anyway, I'm still not sure if and when I'll do that. The other two aren't nearly as developed as Piensor is.

Jesse: Ainran's like... what? a few days old? maybe a week or two?

Me: Something like that. Can anybody guess how i got its name? [Smile mysteriously. And none of my characters can answer this, especially Jesse.

Lorielle: Aw...

Jesse: [Looks at all the dragons] They're beautiful creatures. Ainran has no dragons, only in fair tales.

Rowen: [Snorts] Boy, you need to get out more.

Jesse: I would, if my older brother would loosen up enough to let me. he's too cautious about everything.

Seymour: He is only trying to protect you.

Jesse: I guess.

Tilmere: I hope for his sake you are not as troublesome as Tesmir.

Tesmir: What?! I came with Seymour, doesn't that count as someone to keep me in check?

Seymour: I indulge young people far too much for their own good.

Lorielle: He's like a grandpa.

Seymour: Thank you for making me feel old.

Cory: [Explodes into laughter]

Jesse: [Looks at Eli] Over there? Why?

Rune: They don't bite, kiddo.

Me: Well, I think we've talked enough. Bye-bye. You all stay here and chat.

Cory: Since when did she decide to leave us?

Tesmir: When she left us the first time.

Me: OK... Let's say Tilmere's on a ship across the ocean, and... Jesse's brother does the same, and so does so-and-so from the third world (Luminne). They all 'discover' the other worlds. Jesse's brother would discover Luminne, Tilmere would discover Ainran, and so-and-so would discover Piensor, and somehow everyone would realize that the worlds (or, lands) are all on one world... if that makes any sense.

Jesse: Oh, it's OK. [Shakes Eli's hand] I'd be honored to get to know you. Everyone.

Me: Ooh, you're close. The author of LoTR is a friend to the author of the other world. Try mixing around the letters.

Me: Huh. My attachment disappeared. Did one of the dragons eat it?

*Smoky looks innocent -- too innocent*

Me: *sigh* Alright, I'll put it in again.

Chayten: Better. Though I do wonder if it was that new server everyone keeps talking about. That seems like a more likely culprit.

Smoky: Especially since attachments don't taste very good anyway. I think I'm allergic to them. *sneezes*

Me:

Thysal - Eat an attachment?  We dragons would never do anything like that.  I'm sure it was that Iri character.

Niarah - (sarcastically)  Yeah, like an elf would eat an internet file.

Thysal - Interesting thought, wouldn't you agree?

Rahor - We have more important things to dwell on.  Ciela, when do we get
our own story?

Traxus - You mean we don't already?

Niarah - Not a written one.

Me - I'm still working on my former Ilarian story . . . All things considered, I think I introduced you three too early.

Thysal - I'll say.  But the other HWers won't mind not keeping tabs on Azura and Arctax, I'm sure.

Me - But I can't exactly take everyone back and stick Azura, Arctax, Jade, and Zanraz back here.  That would be too weird.

Traxus - Yeah it would.

Niarah - You're starting to worry me.  Pick a time period, and stick with it, will ya?

Rahor - Currently, I'm just going to go with the flow.  Hey,  did anyone else realize how much we missed on here?  There is tons happening.

Niarah - I lost track of all of the newcomers.  Welcome, to those who I can't currently name right now.

Traxus - That was awkward.

Niarah - Got a better suggestion?

Traxus - Not really.

Thysal - (with a look of distain)  You felines are just strange.

Phillip: C. S. Lewis's Narnia. A fascinating set of books he wrote. Many hidden details and seemingly small things that are very large.

Me: Wait, where did you read those?

Phillip: I've have read much of your literature and I would have to agree with the others that you have very strange sayings.

Griffin: Seconded.

Me: (humph)

Matt: Hi everyone! :D :) :D  ;)

Tesra: Yes, a warm welcome to everyone who is new.

Timuth: Ciela Rose, the very least you could do is bring in a villain.

All the good guys: NOOO!!!!

Ravork: A good idea. I am beginning to feel like a very small minority.

(A chill suddenly sweeps over the room and a robed figure walks in. His face is hidden by a black hood and all you can see of him are his hands. They are shriveled and white.)

Me: Boy, you guys really asked for it.

Griffin: (slowly backing up) This is what I have to fight!

Me: You won't be alone...

Negrauz: (he has a chill, rasping voice) But it will not be enough. I am captain of the Dark One's hosts; evil incarnate. Do not defy me.

Me: Uuhh, we better go.

(a few silent seconds pass)

Tesra: Well, what are you waiting for!

Me: (I glance I Matt, who is pretty much petrified) Matt usually says bye.

Matt: B-b-bye. :(

Arionwyn: Ooh, poor Griffin! *frowns at Negrauz* You better keep away from my friends!!

Aaron: You're willing to face a demon for someone who you barely know?

Chayten: She saved Neirin when he was wounded in the middle of that battle, remember?

Aaron: Right. Yeah. She doesn't mind being abused herself, but if you want to stay in one piece, keep away from her friends. Very loyal.

Lorielle: [Squeals]

Jesse: [Stiffens and draws sword]

Me: Boy.... he's quite the character. Cool name, though.

Cory: I think we need to calm down Lori and newbie.

Rowen: [Smacks Cory with wing again]

Cory: Will you knock it off?!

Seymour: [Nods to Negrauz in acknowledgement]

Tesmir: Uh, when did Seymour start greeting bad guys?

Seymour: Well, if no one else will-

Me: Always the polite one.

Jesse: [Looks at Phillip] Was that just a random statement or were you guessing at how Zoey got the name for Ainran?

Rowen: [Sniffs Negrauz] He has the scent of authority.... and power.

Tesmir: What, are you all trying to boost his confidence?

Seymour: It does not matter whether one is villain or no. So far, I have seen every newc omer be greeted cheerfully, it is only natural to at least try and be polite to antagonists.

Tesmir: Maybe add a word of encouragement to those who need to face him would be better?

Seymour: I have no doubt that they will do just fine.

Cory: But.... Darias ddin't really get much hello, did he?

Seymour:.... Darias is a moron.

Lorielle: New word for Seymour!

Mordir: You all talk way too much.

Cory: ..... Seymour, may I please of permission to kill him?

Mordir: Chill, I'm not going to hurt anyone. We've gotta have a villain here on our side, do we not?

Jesse: Better him that Turlek, I guess.

Me: Haha, Turlek would just be irritating. And besides, he hasn't shown up in the story yet either. But anyway, this is Mordir, Cory's father's pupil.... he died in the story.

Mordir: Thank you for bringing up that painful subject.

Lorielle: an Jesse look for Werynn? I know she's not technically in the story, but she was mentioned.

Me: Um.... I dunno, if he can find her, suppose.

Michael - Where is Celestria? Perhaps we should go on strike.

Dreamer - Cut it out, Michael. You know she's been on vacation. Besides, what excuse would you use this time? "You've been gone for nearly three weeks without even so much as a thought about writing. We're going on strike."

Michael - Doesn't it bother you?

Dreamer - Of course! How would you feel being left with a sword at your throat?

Michael - How would you feel being tied, gagged, and left in a burning building to die?

Dreamer - Yeah pretty horrible. *crosses her arms* Where is she? She said she'd be here. She has a lot of posts to catch up on.

Michael - Might as well start now.

Dreamer - Without her?

Michael - Why not?

Dreamer - Well... okay... Niarah, I don't know if you remember, but you asked me a while ago why my friend called me Protector. It was all mentioned back on page 6 when we were properly introduced, but I don't mind explaining again. You see long ago, the High King said that one would come to help the valley in a time of need. Turns out I was the chosen one.

Michael - Somewhat of a shock though. No one expected the Protector to be a girl. Some people even believe there was a mistake - that the High King didn't really choose her.

Dreamer - It all worked out though, didn't it?

Michael - Yeah. It was pretty interesting at times. Like when we had to get past those men and you faked...

Dreamer - *narrows eyes at Michael* It served it's purpose that's what is important. I wish you'd forget about it though.

Me - Whew! That was close. I thought for a minute there I wasn't going to make it in time.

Dreamer - In time? You're over an hour late.

Me - What?! *glances at watch* Oh no! I forget to set my watch ahead last night. I'm sorry guys. So... what did I miss?

Michael - Pretty much everything.

Me - Oh... well... I see there's some new faces here. I everyone!

Dreamer - There will be time to chat later. Right now we have to go.

Me - Go?

Dreamer - Remember? *sigh* The story.

Me - Oh! Yeah, I... Wait a minute! What are you guys doing here? How did you get away from...?

Michael - *smirks* Some things only us characters should know.

Me: They're really asking for bad guys?

Makasi: It appears so. *raises eyebrow*

Amondor: I would make sure there's some sort of treaty before becoming further involved with an antogonist.

Kyentae: Psh! We can take them, my friend! I'd say we're well equipped and have much backup. *elbows Amondor in ribs* In addition, the majority of this thread is filled with those who fight for the One.

Amondor: This is true.

Makasi: Do you even have a "bad guy" in our story, Calen?

Me: Well, I wouldn't say "bad guy" exactly. More like a couple of normal people with not so good qualities. Their hearts are sinful and they do not accept Lanrete.

Makasi. Ah.

Me: I would say your brother, Aliar, is an antagonist.

Kyentae: I haven't met this young man yet! Bring him in! *excited for some action*

Makasi: Me either. He ran away from home seven years before I was born.

Me: Young man, indeed! You're a summer younger than him!

Kyentae: *ignores me* Calenmiriel, would you bring him on? I believe it would be nice to meet this brother of Makasi's.

Me: Uh...sure? Makasi hasn't even met him in the story yet though.

Makasi: The present is better than the future, I'd suppose.

Me: Okay, I'll get him... *walks away and comes back* Now I'll warn you, I've never used him in my writings before so I don't know how he'll act.

Kyentae: Fear not, I'll keep both my eyes on him. *grins*

Me: Well then, here he is.

Aliar: Hello, sister. It's a pleasure to meet you. *says in a purring sort of voice*

Makasi: Hello. *feels threatened by her brother, but stares at him anyways*

Aliar: *looks at me* Who are the worthless looking mongrels beside her?

Amondor: *glowers* We are not mongrels, sir. I pray you'd be more polite in the company of others.

Aliar: Why would I care about anyone's personal feelings?

Me: Well, it was a good try, but I don't think Aliar will be back. *forced smile*

Aliar: What?!

Me: Bye!

Rowen: Charming brother.

Tesmir: And now I am grateful for mine....

Tilmere: You weren't before?

Tesmir: Of course I was... am. You guys are the only family I have.

Rune: There's no possible way for everyone to get along, is there?

Cory: Dude, we're all from different worlds, different cultures, different rankings. It's not the Garden of Eden here.

Me: Ha ha ha!

Seymour: She found that quite humorous.

Jesse: Found her!

Werynn: [Crouching on branch of a tree, her blue eyes scanning the others] This is.... quite different.

Jesse: Yeah. But everyone's pretty friendly.

Me: This is Werynn, everyone. She's an Elf, and-

Werynn: Don't you say another word.

Me: an-um dum dum hum....

Werynn: That's better.

Jesse: Come down and meet everyone, they don't bite. There are other elves too.

Lorielle: And Seymour.

Werynn: [Looks confused.]

Seymour: I am half-Elf.

Werynn: Oh? Who are the other Elves? I am curious to meet others of my race that hail from other worlds.

Phillip: Yeah, that was the answer to the Ainran question. I do not make random comments.

Negraz: You insignificant fleas think you can defeat me. (cold laughter) You are merely insect to be swatted under my hand. You cannot stand against power of the Dark One.

Griffin: Sure, oh wait, I'm still standing.

Ravork: That isn't very smart, Griffin.

(Negraz points his finger at Griffin flies across the room)

Griffin: Offff...Ooww...

Charcoal: Raaeeet!!! (Flies at Negraz, who touches him and Charcoal freezes in midair)

Negraz: Anyone else care to try me?

Matt: No. :? :( :o

Tesra: Hey! Author! Can't you do something about this?

Me: Well, I could, but that would defeat the whole purpose of the story, so we'll just go ahead and leave.

Me: Phillip got it right! ^^ I took Narnia and spelled it backwards.

Rowen: [Flares wings angrily] Let me face him!

Cory: Easy, big guy. You're not in that story, so you stay put.

Lorielle: I'm with Rowen on this one.

Me: You guys can always pick on Mordir.

Mordir: Do not get me involved.

Werynn: [Eyes glitter with anger] Who is this Negraz?

Me: The bad guy in Griffin's story.

Jesse: Werynn, don't get any ideas.

Werynn: I already have ideas, I just cannot use them like I wish...

Mordir: This Negraz fellow is quite impressive.

Tesmir: [Toying with his blade] Only you would think so.

Aaron: Welcome Werynn, glad to see another elf here. Kelly and Iri *glare* and I are elves, and His Majesty is ...

Clark: Half-elf. Fear not to speak frankly, Sir Darkstar.

Aaron: *bows*

Kelly: *walks over to Griffin, picks him up and dusts him off, then unfreezes Charcoal with her Rider powers* There now, is that better? You've got a lovely bruise, Griffin. Somebody ought to make the walls of this place softer.

Iri: *muttering* And de-electricize the boundary.

Me: Not a chance. (Is that even a word?)

Iri: It is now.

Me: I would dearly love to read your story, Caleb. It sounds extremely interesting. I daresay I love your characters from what I've seen of them. BTW, where's Abby?

Arionwyn: All the villains probably scared her off. Let me just mention that nobody's scaring me. Your demon can't cross the boundary, can he?

Smoky: If he could, I'd roast him.

Blaze: As would I.

Violet: Let him try! With a legion of dragons against him... heh heh heh

Rahor - Whoa, that can't feel good.

Niarah - (launches herself at Negraz but is pulled back by her brother) Oh c'mon! We can't just leave Griffin and Charcoal alone in there!

Rahor - They aren't alone; their author is in there as well. Besides, you'd be dead in a heartbeat.

Niarah - (sniffs) Speak for yourself, Princeling. Werynn, we can take him on together, lets go!

Traxus - DON'T even think about it.

Me - You'll have more than enough to handle when I introduce your villain.

Thysal - Not another one!

Werynn: [Nods to Aaron, Kelly, Iri, and Clark] It is a great pleasure to meet you all.

Rowen: Let us take him on!

Cory: Did you not just see what he did to Griffin and Charcoal? You've only just started flying.

Rowen: [Snarls irritatedly]

Lorielle: Everyone's so mad...

Werynn: [Looks at Niarah and unsheathes and short sword] Give me only a word, and I will go.

Jesse: Werynn, please, calm yourself. What will Phil think?

Werynn: What your brother thinks of me is no matter of mine.

Jesse: Excuse me? Wasn't it you who told me that you- [Stops when Werynn shoots him a threatening glare]

Rune: Alright, everyone calm down. Rowen, go fly about and relax yourself. Werynn, miss, I beg you please sheath your blade.

Weryn: [Tosses back auburn hair from her face] I will sheath it when I want.

Seymour: Sheath your blade, Elf! It will be no use for you to fight, unless you are allowed by those who have control over the situation. Dragon, be still and listen to your Keeper. You are still young and inexperienced, and unless you wish to end up like Charcoal, I suggest you furl your wings and stay quiet.

Rowen: But the other dragons-

Seymour: Have far more experience in battle than you do. You have not witnessed any clash of sword and shield, so for now you shall watch and learn form the experienced ones.

Werynn: Who gives you right to order me, half-Elf? I will not stoop to-

Seymour: You will do as you are told, Elf! Still your tongue and sheath your blade before I use the latter to cut out the former!

Me: OK.... someone needs to chill. Like, now.

Werynn: [Growls in disgust and obeys]

Cory: You alright there, Seymour?

Seymour: I am fine.

Tilmere: Why don't you go walk for a bit, my friend? I will see to it that they remain still.

Me: [Pushes Seymour out of the room] Go. We'll be fine.

Tesmir: That was scary...

Lorielle: Yeah...

Werynn: [Glowering angrily]

Jesse: She seemed to have no problem in greeting Clark... So, why Seymour?

Me: Dunno. Elves can be odd. No offense to the Elves present.

Me: Seymour, I love the latter/former joke. I wish I had swords in my novel...

Alister: *looks hopeful* So you don't have swords?

Me: Not so far, but don't get your hopes up.

Kyra: *sniff*

*silence*

Me: Um, could we talk about something, or should I bring another round of characters in?

Kyra: What other characters?

Me: Well, there's Aláthia and Cirwyn and the gang, but there's also Chloe and Talitha.

Kyra: Wouldn't that be a bit awkward, you know, bringing Tal in?

Alister: I suppose it would be, but I for one would not mind seeing her. I only knew her for a few months, you know.

Me: I know, I know. You're making me feel like a murderer.

Kyra: So, would I be I fifteen or thirty?

Me: *ignores Kyra* On second thought, why don't I wait to bring Tal and co. in until I've finished your book?

Alister: All right...

Kyra: Fine with me. She needs to get caught up on her algebra, anyway.

Me: Mothers.

Kyra: Authors.

Serena: Anyone else feel up to a good fight? *eyes glimmer with excitement*

Eclipsi: Maybe we should bring in some help...

Serena: We have plenty of 'help' here. *motions to everyone*

Eclipsi: If you're sure.

Tilmere:... I don't think he was joking.

Tesmir: You think Seymour would do that kind of thing?

Rune: If one makes him angry enough, yes. Do you remember how he dealt with the Suragore?

Cory: We didn't see it.

Lorielle: I did. He didn't even take any injuries!

Jesse: Werynn, you need to go apologize to Seymour.

Werynn: [Ignores]

Jesse: [Anger flares] Werynn, you are the most stubborn Elf I have ever met! You go and find Seymour and apologize, or I'll find Phil and let him know what's happened.

Seymour: I'm back.

Me: That was fast.

Seymour: I just needed to destroy a few trees.

Me: Oh...

Werynn: [Looks at Seymour] Seymour?

Seymour: Yes?

Werynn: I.... I apologize for how I behaved. I was rude and immature, and I am sorry.

Seymour: You have nothing to apologize for, Werynn. I lost my temper and provoked you. I should be the one apologizing. I am sorry.

Werynn: [Smiles faintly and nods, then looks at Clark] How does your kingdom choose a king or queen? I am curious to learn about other worlds. The only one I have known is my own. Seeing faces from so many different paths is so new to me.

Jesse: That's the Werynn we know and love.

Rowen: Not fair...

Cory: Life's not fair, Rowen. Just watch the other dragons and learn from them. No doubt you'll pick up on some good techniques.

Mordir: I would fight, if it were not for this barrier...

Lorielle: Poor baby.

Mordir: [Glares]

Me: Jumping back in...I've been following the thread somewhat but haven't had any acceptable characters yet. However, talked to Emeth the other day and he said that one of my book series was close enough to fantasy to be allowed here... :D

Evander: Woah, this is different.

Krystal: Elves!

Evander: Oh, great, next thing I know, you're going to be wondering what the fashions of the otherworlds are...

Krystal: And you'll be caught up in their technology. Just like a boy.

Evander: Hey, I know girls who like technology too.

Krystal: Meadow doesn't count—her parents are scientists.

Evander: You proved my point right there!

Krystal: Where?

Evander: Her mom is a scientist, so therefore...she likes technology. :smirk:

Me: For being twins, you two fight way too much.

Krystal: It's not my fault.

Evander: Krys – look out!

**Evander and Krystal back away from the newcomers**

Enrico: Karenza and I don't fight.

Karenza: Most of the time.

Enrico: We just agree most of the time.

Karenza: I'm regretting doing so.

Enrico: Where's that squirt Evander?

Karenza: Here's where I get off. Stay away from our cousins!

Krystal: Aaahhh!

**Evander draws sword and pushes Krystal behind him**

**an Oriental young man steps between the sets of twins**

Lukas: Okay, everybody calm down.

**he throws down an electrified barrier**

Lukas: This is our half of the post. That's yours. Don't cross the line.

Enrico: And what if we don't?

Lukas: I think Iri can tell you that.

Lorielle: Hi new people!

Werynn: [Looks amused] You seem to have experience in handling them, Lukas.

Tilmere: With young energetic ones, you have to be experienced.

Tesmir: I am still here, y'know.

Seymour: [Laughs]

Lorielle: Seymour doesn't laugh very often... but I like his laugh when he does.

Werynn: Do you like Elves, Krystal?

Lukas: Well, actually, the one and only time I tried to get them separated, I ended up run through.

**Krystal pales**

Lukas: But we won't talk of that very much around her.

Evander: Squeamish.

Krystal: I am not! I just don't like it when people talk about things to come in our stories. This is the World Before The Story, last I checked.

Me: No, this is both the world before and the world after, as well as the world during. Just depends on what I want you to do. ;)

Krystal: Yes, I like elves. I love to read any type of fairy tale, fantasy novel, that kind of thing.

Enrico: I wonder if you could rewire that boundary, Karenza?

Karenza: Not a chance.

Werynn: [To Lukas] Oh.... lovely.

Jesse: Girls can be brutal. I nearly got a meat knife through my heart when I accidentally snuck up on one.

Me: Yeah, well, you're lucky I missed (his story is one with my siblings and I in it). And we are not brutal, just easily startled.

Mordir: Are Karenza and Enrico siblings?

Werynn: Have you no Elves in your world?

Krystal: Sadly, no elves...

Enrico: What's an elf?

Evander: Your education in classical literature is sadly lacking.

Karenza: (whisper) Evander, you're standing too close to the barrier.

Evander: Whoops!

**Enrico lunges at Evander**

**Karenza catches his arm**

Karenza: Would you just drop it already? They're our cousins!

Enrico: If you weren't my twin sister, I'd tackle you.

Lukas: Don't make me come over there and tie you up.

Enrico: You can't. I'm a head taller than you.

Lukas: Don't make me try.

Krystal: Wow, Zoey, what were you doing with a meat knife?

Me: Emptying the dishwasher. I happened to have a meat knife in hand as he stepped into the room. But I didn't throw it until he started taking something out of his belt! (Of course, I would have thrown it without him pulling out anything if my brother had not pointed out that the first idea didn't make much sense. So now it does ^^)

Lorielle: Werynn, Aaron, Kelly, and Iri. They're Elves. Elves have pointed ear and can hear things Humans can't.

Werynn: [To Lukas] They really push your limits, don't they?

Lukas: You have no idea...

Evander: Throwing meat knives sounds dangerous.

Krystal: Yeah...but kind of cool too. Have you ever seen those videos about how to do it right? (throwing knives, I mean) I think Michael Pearl produced some, and so did Vision Forum.

Me: I know a boy who throws tomahawks and knives. He's Calenmiriel's brother.

Krystal: Very dangerous.

Evander: I wonder if there is a practical use to the knowledge of throwing knives?

Lukas: ::makes a new sign for the warehouse: "NO THROWING KNIVES ON THE PREMISES"::

Karenza: I can throw knives.

Enrico: Particularly when it just looks cool. You always miss.

Karenza: I'm here to look cool. I don't think Melody could bear to have me do something really nasty. Unlike someone I know...

Enrico: Be quiet.

::Krystal stifles laughter::

Me: Wow! I have not been on this topic for a weekend and look what happens!

Terra: Werynn, I am of the race called Vasai...which is close to that of the Elf... Welcome to the Introduction room :D

Eli: We have indeed missed alot...

Terra: There are quite alot of elves here... I am very happy to be with a close race :D

Malka: *Nods*

Me: Oops time to go! Bye! :D

Kyra: Elves, eh? Do we have elves, Evening?

Me: Nope, not in your story, at least.

Alister: But are not Cirwyn and some of the others of elven-kind?

Me: Well... sort of. I haven't officially named them "elves", but they're elf-ish. Pointy ears, enhanced agility, magic, stuff like that.

Forrest: You forgot "quick tempers".

Aiisha: *snort* Like someone we know...

Cirwyn: Well, excuse me --

Me: Now, now, no need to banter. (And Cirywn, go away. You're with the wrong set of characters.)

*Cirwyn stalks off*

Kyra: But bantering is fun!

Me: Ooo-kay, guys, let's not totally derail this thread. So, what's everybody talking about...?

Aiisha: *points at previous posts* Meat knives and throwing knives.

Me: Anybody have anything to say about knives?

Kyra: You know, being able to throw knives can be very useful.

Aiisha: Like when?

Kyra: Like when a lion is attacking your home and you're doing the dishes?

Forrest: Great idea, sis.

Me: Enough with the sarcasm, already! *shakes head* Do y'all have anything else to say about knives, 'cause I think we need to go soon.

Alister: I seem to be a common target for them.

Kyra: Please!

Me: You're really giving me a hard time with this, Alister.

Aiisha: I think I hear the goats calling us. It's high time they were fed...

Me: Ok. Bye, everyone!

Werynn: It is a pleasure to meet a new race. This whole place... it is full of so many walks of life, so many cultures and habits...

Me: Haha.... um, it's his fault. [Points to Jesse]

Jesse: Yeah, I maybe could have thought that through better...

Seymour: Does it matter whose fault it was? You're both alive.

Jesse: True. If phil was trigger-happy we'd both be dead.

Me: Yeah, that would be bad.

Werynn: Lions attack you when you're doing the dishes?

Kyra: (to Werynn) Not officially, though when you live in Sarda, you have to keep an eye out for big cats.

Aiisha: You know, Evening, that could make a really funny chapter in your book. Kyra, Mother and I could be doing the dishes and then WHAM! A giant cougar soars over the courtyard wall and lands next to the water-trough.

Me: Ha ha, that would be pretty funny. Maybe I'll write it just for fun and see if I can fit it in.

Kyra: I don't get injured, do I? *eyes widen*

Me: Probably not.

Kyra: Probably?! *eyes widen even more*

Forrest: Let's hope not. We don't need too much blood and gore in this novel.

Me: Thanks for the sage advice, Forrest. *rolls eyes* Those Arden kids are just worried about self-preservation.

Forrest: I generally like to avoid unnecessary bodily harm.

Aiisha: So, what cultures/nations/races are all you other characters from? I'm Sardan, and so are my siblings and parents.

Kyra: Duh.

Forrest: *elbows Kyra*

Kyra: Ouch!

Zaciré: *panting* Man, eruheran sure took long enough to get us into this room.

Me: Yeah, well, I've only been on here about a month so it's taken me a while to find everything.

Urta: Especially when we took the wrong turn into the Community Story...all those goblins!

Me: Urta! You're not even supposed to be in here. I mean, well, you're not in the rewrite of the story that I'm doing but I don't really have any antagonists that Zaciré could banter with so I might let you and Pashto come in.

Pashto: So you're saying that we're villains?

Me: Not villains, but the only people I could think of in my story that Zaciré could bounce off of.

Zaciré: Yeah, they're not villains, but they sure are annoying.

Me: Zaciré! In the story they're supposed to be your friends.

Urta: OK, now you're really confusing me. Can we just start with the introductions?

Me: *sighs*. Fine, go ahead. You start, Urta.

Urta: I'm Urta, and I live in the Enclave, in the world of Enderion, along with my friends here. Zaciré's really lucky because he gets to go on a quest and finds the pretty...

Me: shhh! Urta, you promised you wouldn't give away the plot at all.

Urta: And you promised you'd make me an MC.

Me: I can't make you an MC! I already have Zacirè and Numaryà and Frosvan, and Zrolla, the villain. And this isn't fair since now you're trying to bring them in when I haven't even got you guys through the introductions! *slaps forehead* Pashta, why don't you try to introduce yourself.

Pashto: Well, since people do have trouble reading the little names in the margin, I won't say my name.

Me: His name is Pashto. I hadn't made him as opinionated as Urta but look what happens when you bring them out. He's a minor character as well.

Pashto: Excuse me, are you going to introduce me or am I going to introduce me?

Me: Sorry, go ahead.

Pashto: Thank you. As I was saying, I also live in the Enclave, in the World of Enderion. I'm kind of a follower of Urta, not because I'm a lemming, but just because you know, well, I don't really have any friends and Urta kind of follows Zaciré so we're kind of like a train and you know and ooh, smileys :) (I can see what you see in these, Matt)...

Numaryá: Pashto, please do us all a favor and shut your mouth.

Zaciré: *startled* Numaryá, how did you get in here?

Numaryá: Well, the author brought me of course. It took some time but it worked.

Me: Hey, you're fictional, you're not supposed to be able to convince me! Why don't you introduce yourself.

Numaryá: I'm Numaryá, I also live in the Enclave but I'm not originally from there. You see, my father...

Me: No plot giveaways!

Numaryá: Oh yeah. Anyways, I have to be in this dialogue since I end up marrying Zaciré and I'm a main charry.

Me: Plot giveaway! Numaryá, I'll take you away if you don't behave.

Zacirè: *shocked* What?!?

Me: See Numaryá, not only are you giving away plot to everyone else, but even to the other characters! You can't do that! I'm going to bring Forsvan in now, maybe he can calm you all down.

Forsvan: Where am I? Who are all these people. Ah, the fair folk. It has been long, Zaciré, since I have met with elves. Greetings to you all.

Me: At least one of you can remember your manners. Forsvan is Zaciré's mentor, but since I'm rewriting the story I'm not sure if he's still his mentor, but he's definitely an MC.

Forsvan: Yes, yes, most confusing, eruheran. You must try to do better at what you call rewrites. It's most disconcerting to be 60 and then all of a sudden be 80 and die.

Me: Hey, I didn't really want you to die, but it was crucial to the plot so that Zaciré would start his quest. But now in the rewrite the quest starts differently, so you might live, if that makes you happy.

Urta: *sulking* Hey! Now you're giving away the plot. How come authors get to do it but not characters?

Me: Well, authors are special...and you're just a work of fiction. I'm a strange fantasy writer homes-chooler, and apparently that gives me license to do weird things. But I think it's time I brought in the villain.

Everyone: No!

Me: C'mon, we need some arguing since technically you all are supposed to be friends so it's better you have someone else to argue against.

Zaciré: But I thought Elyon kills him at the end when...

Me: Zaciré! You've been reading ahead, haven't you?!

Zaciré: Well, you forgot to close the computer down that one night...and I got curious. I'm sorry.

Me: I guess it's OK. I'll bring in Fertag now.

Pashto: But you renamed him to Zrolla, remember?

Me: What?! You read ahead also? And you're only a minor character. Shame on both of you!

*Zaciré and Pashto look ashamed*

Me: That's right, I did rename him to Zrolla. Fertag sounds too much like Fernando, which sounds like a hispanic name, but I didn't want to stereotype my villain so I changed it.

Forsvar: Zrolla sounds like the name of an African Dung beetle. Perhaps, Phillip, you would care to elaborate (By the way, your intellect is most refreshing for someone of my scholarly rank. Perhaps one day you would care to discuss quasars with me?)

Zrolla: Stupid peasants, stop arguing about the etymology of my name. What is this place? And where can I hire some mercenaries to take it over? And who are those winged things in the corner? Large eagles?

Me: That's right, I haven't introduced dragons yet. Probably shouldn't, either. Zrolla's powerful enough with only his wolves.

Urta: Uh-oh, way to start up the peasants thing again, Zrolla.

Zrolla: Silence, knave! I must talk to the Iri character, or the slave trader, though he looks to be a bumbling fool, or those two generals in animal skins, or possibly that tiger that was around here before. With some well-trained soldiers we could have this place taken over in a heartbeat.

Zaciré: Listen Zrolla, just because you defeated me once in the story doesn't mean you're all that powerful! I mean, you don't even have any dark wolves with you. And just ask Raug, that bumbling slave trader, what happens when you try to go out of the margins.

Zrolla: What margins? I see no margins *walks up to margin* Oh, this small barrier? *forces it aside with a pulse of blue lightning from his fourth finger*

Me: No! Zrolla! Did you read ahead as well? You're not even supposed to have that power yet. *hurriedly puts the margin back and plunks Zrolla down right by the door where hopefully he'll stay out of trouble*. And if you don't behave, I'll name you back to Fertag!

Zrolla: That sounds hispanic! You promised, no stereotyping! What do you want me to do? Eat a taco with one hand while I take over the world with the other?

Urta: I'd pay money to see that sight! *chuckles*

Pashto: :D :D :D :D :D

Numaryá: Not another smiley guy!

Pashto: :D :D :D :D :D

Me: Well, things are getting very confusing and embarassingly long, so let me wrap up with a description of who each of these people are. Zaciré is the main main character in my book, and must go on a quest. No physical descriptions (yet...but these people are all humans). Forsvar is his mentor and is sort of a main character but stays at the Enclave for most of the book. Numaryá is a girl that Zaciré finds extremely strange. No one knows where she came from but she lives at the Enclave. And since my characters already ruined it *glares at Numaryá and Urta* she does marry Zaciré in the end.

Zrolla: *sarcastically* Awww, I love happy endings....preferably when they involve me taking over the world.

Me: Don't interrupt me in the middle of a summary, or I'll kill you off! Anyways, Urta and Pashto are minor characters and they live at the Enclave. I had cut them out of the second revision since they were very minor characters in the first story but they've been pestering me ever since to let them back in so I might, eventually. And Zrolla, he's my villain. He is one of those take-over-the-world types that seem to be common on here. He used to have the power to revoke barriers (such as page margins) but I must remove that to prevent all of the villains banding together.

Urta: Just finish already, will you?

Me: OK! Well, I'll take my *very* long-winded characters (and myself) out of here for now since I've got 'brother-bonding' time to do. Hi to all the other characters and sorry if my characters didn't take much notice of you...they can be a little bit self centered at times.

*Pulls characters by capes out of room...but capes break in doorway leaving all characters embarrassingly sprawled on the floor with broken capes. Embarrassed, eruheran picks them up and leaves*

Me: Your characters sound very nice. Welcome all!

Werynn: I see... That sounds rather alarming... Ainran doesn't have any lions, does it, Jesse?

Jesse: Beats me. I can barely leave the capital without my brother catching me. But I'm sure there's something similar, if not the actual thing.

Me: Um.... Pretty much everybody's human. Cory, Tesmir, Tilmere, and Rune are humans form the world of Piensor. Oh, and Mordir is too-

Mordir: I am insulted.

Me: You're not a big character, OK? But I apologize for forgetting you. Anyway. Seymour is a half-Elf, also hailing from Piensor. Half-Elves in Piensor are called Luvarians (which means poor-blooded), but it's not a very polite title. Um... Lorielle's a human, but from Earth. Jesse's a human form the world of Ainran (a fairly new place; Narnia spelled backwards). Werynn is an Elf from Ainran, also. Oh! And then there's Rowen, a dragon form Piensor, and he's also Cory's dragon.

Cory: You want him?

Rowen: [Snarls]

Cory: I'm kidding! I just didn't go into this Dragon Keeper business willingly.

Me: You worry too much. But that about sums it up for everybody on my side. Glad to meet you all!

Mordir: [Looks at Zrolla] If I could, I would join you. You have no idea how much I want to get revenge...

Cory: Keep dreamin'.

Me: I thought Fertag sounded closer to Murtagh (form the Eragon books). But both names are really cool.

Werynn: Welcome to you all.

???: [Springs into the room yapping]

Lorielle: [Squeals and hides behind Cory]

Werynn: [Draws blade again]

Seymour: Calm yourselves. Zoey, what, pray tell, is that?

Me: Um... it's a fox.... It... um, it's in a story.... kind of fantasy, set on earth... with air ships that have a different race with no name...

Mordir: But what IS it?!

Me: It's a fox, moron! His name's Tynx. He's very friendly.

Tynx: [Shakes red and white fur, then blinks amber eyes at everyone] Wow.... this place is big...

Me: He's rather young, but he's powerful, or at least he is when he had the core in him.

Tynx: Yeah, then I died. Aaron (Me: Different Aaron, a human) wasn't happy, but he's OK now, he's got his family. But I miss him.

Me: I never like to kill off characters. Bad guys are sometimes an exception, but I like them so much I can't kill 'em. WHich is a problem, since i need someone to die to get through a part of a story.

Cory: Considering you even finish it at all.

Me: You're not helping.

Tynx: What story?

Me: A different story.

Tynx: There're more?

Me: All around you. Over there [Points to Griffin's spot] and over there [Points to eruheran's spot]. Everywhere.

Tynx: Wow! And, are they all from different worlds? Everyone looks so different from each other!

Cory: He's just as curious as Lorielle is.

Seymour: Aye.

Me: Welcome all new characters!

Terra: It's a pleasure to meet you... Though I think you made Malka upset over the evil wolves thing *Turns and whispers away from Malka* He'll get over it though, I'm sure ;)

Malka: *Growls and flicks his ears*

Terra: He says he'll forgive the author, but not the villan *winks* stubborn wolf!

Eli: It is indeed a pleasure to know you all.

Terra: I'm a smiley person as well :D ;) :)

Me: I was waiting for someone to lose a cape :D

Me: Yes, Zoey, I thought the same. "Fertag" does sound like "Murtagh".

Kyra: Nice to meet you, Tynx. I like foxes.

Forrest: Really?

Kyra: Well, how couldn't you? I mean, look. He's so furry and cute.

Alister: In fictional and fantastical novels, talking creatures typically do not appreciate being described as "cute".

Kyra: *shrug* Whatever you say.

Aiisha: *pokes Kyra* You forgot to welcome Zaciré, Eruheran, Urta, Pashto, Numaryá, Forsvan, and Zrolla.

Kyra: *squints, trying to read names* Uh, hi. Everybody...

Alister: For the purpose of clarification, Sardans are, in sooth, human, but we are indigenous to a world segregated from the one you call Earth.

Me: And in English...?

Kyra: I think he said that Sardans are human, but they live in a world separate from earth.

Forrest: I think you need to tone down on the dictionary reading.

Alister: I read the dictionary in order to build up my vocabulary so that I am competent to use the correct word at the correct time. The difference between the right word and almost the right word is like the difference between lightning and a lightning bug.

Kyra: Isn't that a quote from someone?

Alister Yes, Mark Twain. Or Samuel L. Clemens, if you prefer.

Me: Where'd you read that?

Alister: It is in Griffin's signature, as well as several of my encyclopedias.

Me: Off you go, Alister. I'm putting you to work on my school work.

Alister: But it is summer. How can you have school work? Besides, I am a fictional character. I cannot know anything you do not know.

Me: Good point.

Me: Fertag does sound like Murtagh...I didn't even realize it, but I'm glad I changed it, since I think Murtagh is a really dumb name (no offense).

Zrolla: I take offense at that, knave!

Me: Easy now, I could kill you off if I wanted to.

Zrolla: *grumbles*

Zaciré: It's nice to meet some other people. And I'm sorry about Malka, Terra. In my first draft the black wolves are Zrolla's soldiers, and there are some sand wolves that are kind of grey-line characters (They take me captive). But not all the wolves are bad. The sand wolves are just more mercenaries. One wolf does help me escape, though.

Me: Does everyone have this problem with characters giving away plot twists? In the rewrite, Zaciré, you haven't even been introduced yet!

Urta: That's because you never write...

Me: I know, I know, I'm sort of busy, you know. I do have a life. Outside of Forsvan, none of you are in the rewrite at all yet.

All: What?

Forsvan: Now, now, charries, I'm sure that our author eruheran will fit you in eventually...he just needs time. And are you forgetting your manners? The others have greeted us, we must reciprocate their salutations.

Pashto: Sounds like Alister and that professor guy would get along well with you, Forsvan.

Numaryá: Please show the respect, Pashto, that is due to Forsvan because of his age. You are always forgetting your manners.

Urta: Hey cool, a fox. We have foxes in the Enclave. But we never hunt them, though poachers do. Last summer I caught a poacher and brought him before Forsvan for a trial.

Me: What? How'd that get in there? I never even thought that up...but I guess now you'll be begging me to be putting it in?

Urta: *looks at eruheran with puppy eyes, then goes to talk to Tynx*

Me: I hate it when my characters do that. Well, we're running short on time, so thanks for the welcome and I'll be more careful pulling my characters out this time.

*ushers them slowly to the door, but Urta forgets to open it and runs into it. With a rueful smile, eruheran and the crew exit*

Me: Wow, so much has gone on since I last posted!

Serena: There are alot of people here now... I can hardly remember everyones names!

Me: Speaking of names, I have been thinking-

Eclipsi: Uh-oh. What did you do?

Me: *glares at Eclipsi* I am getting to that, thank you... well, I noticed I used a 3 main names that have 'Ser' as the first few letters... this looks kind of odd, so I decided to change your name *turns and points to Serena* to Taiven, same last name.

*shocked silence*

Mattimeo: What?

Taiven: Really? Uhh... how am I supposed to take this?

Me: Well... I don't know...

Taiven: I'm fine with it.

Me: Really? *wipes brow* thank goodness!

Eclipsi: Taiven... that does have a nice ring to it. :)

Mattimeo: Any other surprises you want to throw at us now?

Me: Hey. No need to get fresh! You are my character after all.

*Mattimeo frowns*

Me: Fine, be mad. *turns to others* well, that is about all I have to say.

Taiven: Does this mean we have to go?

Me: Yup.

Eclipsi: I thought so. *rolls eyes*

Taiven: Just don't drag me by my cape. I see the look in your eyes. *points at me* Just because other Holy Worlders here have done it, does not mean I want to be sprawled on the floor like Zrolla, Urta and the others.

Me: *sighs* fine. Hop on Eclipsi then.

Taiven: Ok. Bye! :)

Eclipsi: *sighs and bends down a foot so that Taiven and Mattimeo can get on* Until next time.

Mattimeo: Goodbye! :D

Tynx: I like being called cute!

Me: I think he enjoys his speaking priveleges.

Jesse: So, he's from Earth?

Me: Not exactly. An airship in space above earth.

Tynx: Yeah, but then I died and everybody lives on earth now. Well, only the airship I lived in.

Mordir: The wolves sound impressive. The best we've got are Needle-Dogs and Teimaro.

Lorielle: And the latter's just flat-out disgusting. It's drools like there's no tomorrow, its teeth are gross, it has veins-

Cory: Alright, I think they get the picture.

Tynx: [Talking to Urta] So, what world are you from? What kind of animals does it have?

Seymour: A rather talkative fellow, isn't he?

Me: Yeah. When you can't speak for the whole story except for a few words in one chapter at the end, you tend to show your energeticness through actions. Which is what he did. And since he's about the size of a house-cat, he can get away with a lot.

Tynx: [Ignores conversation behind him]

Me: Goodness you guys! *shakes her head as if to clear it* How am I supposed to respond to all this?!

Aaron: One word at a time.

Me: *dryly* Thanks.

Iri: And what makes you think I'll speak to you, Zrolla? In my opinion, both that and your previous name are --

Me: *claps a hand over Iri's mouth* Cut it out! You're going to insult somebody!

Iri: *wrestles free* I will insult anyone I want, thank you. *narrows his eyes*

Me: Oh yeah? I can kill you. I was thinking about it anyway.

Iri: *falls silent*

Clark: *scrolls back* Well Werynn, for the past few hundred years the Faithful have ruled Carseld, passing the throne on to their children. The six races took turns reigning in Elaya, the capitol city on the Southern coast. Then there was a disagreement--

Me: I'm not quite sure what kind.

Clark: Why must you continually interrupt me? Anyway, due to this disagreement about who should succeed the High King, the races receded to their own places around Carseld, leaving the Humans and the Elves, who fought over the right to the throne. This resulted in a bloody war, the War of the Portals, so called because several powerful magic-users had invented devices to transport you from place to place. These were used heavily in the war much to the Elves' disadvantage, because the activating material was the blood of an Elf. Eventually the Elves retreated behind a barrier of their own making and have not been seen in any great numbers since. This ensued several years of peace in which the Humans reigned the section of Carseld known as Lalind. The races have stayed apart ever since. Only now, under my rule, has any royal made an attempt to bring them back together. It's been *deep breath* nerve-wracking.

Me: I didn't interrupt you that time.

Clark: Thank you.

Me: Phillip ought to enjoy that long-winded explanation.

Clark: L-long winded-- ! But--

Me: *too cheerily* Time to go! :D

Me - I know this sounds awful, but after a while, I don't even try to catch up on everything. :P

Niarah - Heartless human.

(Thysal chokes on her laughter, but gulps it down when I glance at her)

Rahor - Good for you that we felines keep up on the news for you. (scrolls up) Hmm. Philip and Clark, I think you'd enjoy Traxus. He's a warrior, born and bred, and he's young, so he knows how to make wise statements, but he doesn't know how to keep them short--

Niarah - (claps a paw over his mouth) Umm, forget what he's saying. (whispers to her brother) You are going to offend every serious person in this room if you keep going. Iri doesn't need any help with that.

(Rahor glares at his sister, shakes free, and stalks off)

Me - (watches felines, then shakes head) You guys are really strange.

Niarah - That's exactly why you made us. :D

Thysal - Riiiight.

Niarah - (notices the new charries) Oh, hi there! I don't think I can say all of your names, but welcome! Oh, cool, a fox!

Me - Eruheran, I love the names you have for your characters! Especially Zacire and Numarya. Do you think you could help me with a name for one of my characters?

Niarah - Another one?

Rahor - It never ends, you know that.
