The Felliaid (pronounced fell-e-aid) are the enemies of the animal races. This is one of the hardest to explain, given the wide diversity of the animal races, so bear with me. :) When I refer to noses, mouths, faces and ears, I mention what the human-like sub-races of the Felliaid are like. For the more animal-like ones, insert bird-like or cat-like. Have I lost you yet? :D

The Felliaids’ eyes are slit-like with oval pupils and are usually deep black or iridescent. Their noses are long and thin. The Felliaids’ faces are small and thin with high cheekbones. Their ears are small and extremely pointed. The females’ hair is mid-back length, while the males’ is short. Their hair is usually straight, and is raven black, with hints of a blue-black. The Felliaid's body makeup is dependent on their original race.

The female Felliaids’ clothing is made out of an iridescent black cotton. It is comprised of a belted blouse. The males’ clothing is a slightly heavier fabric. It is comprised of an un-belted tunic.

The Felliaids' speech is swift, short, and to-the-point. Their movements are swift and slightly jerky

Felliaid are evil, cruel, obsessive, highly impatient, and demanding. They have a one-track mind. Felliaid are hasty and loud.

Felliaid like black, midnight blue, night, and shadows. They dislike white, lavender, day, and sunlight.

Anise is beneficial for their health. Ricin can be damaging and/or lethal, but it is rare in Saemyr.

Felliaid can be subdivided into four sub-races: centaur destroying, satyr destroying, Aderyn destroying and Cythawr destroying. I won’t get into them now, but if you’re interested…maybe in the future!

The things I have outlined here are what is usually the case. It is possible for Felliaid to differ from this description. Those who do are either adored or shunned. If you have any questions about why I made them a certain way, ask away! It will help me to solidify them.

So what are their origins/purpose (other than to be evil :D)?

So there are ?five? types of races, then each of those has four races, which each have four sub-races.
So there would be the destroying races, one for each other type of race, elemental, people, animal, and another type, and each sub-race of the destroying races is made to destroy a specific good race. Right?

A few questions now. Can the destroying races be taught good or are they impossibly evil and corrupt, incapable of doing good? Are each of the sub-races specially equipped to destroy a race or are they all pretty much the same in that regard?

Well, I haven't really done much work on history yet, so I can't really answer that very well, except for origin. Each member of the destroying races starts out as a member of the races is destroys (i.e. a Felliaid could start out as a Centaur), and then turns into a member of the destroying race in his/her teenage years. This would be because of a certain gene passed on by the parents that they received as a result of the Fall. Make sense?

Almost. There are four different types of races, each of which have four races, each of which have four sub-races. Like this:
Elemental: Dryad, Naiad, Sylph, Taian
People: Faerie, Gnome, Giant, Human
Animal: Centaur, Satyr, Aderyn, Cythawr
Destroying: Marhion (anti-elemental), Woydin (anti-people), Felliaid (anti-animal), Laethar (anti-destroying)
Each sub-race of the destroying races does destroy a specific good race, with the exception of the Laethar. The Laethar only have three sub-races - one for each of the other evil races.

It depends on the person. Most readily take to their evil lifestyle, but a very small few seek redemption.

Each sub-race is specifically equipped to destroy a race. The race that they destroy is the same as the race they began as.

Nice to see all of your races laid out in a nice structure, etc. I was getting a little bit confused until I saw this. :)

Yeah, thanks, that really cleared things up. Although it seems weird for the Laether to destroy the other evil races.

The Laether are still evil, despite them killing the other evil races, right?

I think so. After all, if you had the power to destroy the people that could destroy everyone else, you would have power over the whole world. Remember, though. There have to be enough of them to do so. Only one wouldn't be able to do any/much damage.
