I was happy :D to see that Dri has resurrected the Tiny Dragon avatar. It is so cool that I was disappointed when Phili stopped using it.
Speaking of which, your new avatar is very cute, Phili.

Lady Eruwaedhiel! The story excerpt in your signature is so cool! Wow! It's a dream sequence, right?

(And here it is, in case she changes it:)

Quote:
He drew inside himself, tormented by rejection and loneliness. He found a dark room with no windows and shut himself in. He felt the cool metal of the key in his hand and wondered what to do with it. He dropped it, but it never hit the floor. It kept falling, falling, and suddenly he himself was falling, falling, screaming to the darkness; it was bottomless, ceaseless, changeless, heartless, forever ...

I love Milly's story excerpt in her signature! Where can I read more about it, Milly?

Quote:
The rain pelted down, and darkness swirled around him. Gasping for breath, he tried to clear his brain of all the cobwebs.

“Spiada! Tarkah spiada loquies!” The Canatians gathered around him again, but this time, a party of ten crowded forward to capture the sprawled Thamaltan. One of them stooped and lifted his head, while the other nine pointed their weapons at Dorsogu.

The darkness swirled and the stars appeared again, and a sharp, ringing began in his head. As the Canatian lifted him off the ground, he gave in to his dizziness and blacked out.

In a world without superheroes, who will stand against the forces of evil?

I also like Aniese/Lady Elizabeth's horse avatar. Although it throws me off when two or more people have the same avatar. :P I'll be read a thread Aniese was posting on, and then I get to reading so fast I don't see who said what because I start only looking at their avatar. :P Maybe I'm just confused easily.

I laughed at Riniel Jasmina's signature. I think many writers have faced accusations of copying real life. ;)

Blood is thicker than water... and often more bitter than poison. Cardiff's Book of Anglish Wisdom
From The Sword in the Stars by Wayne Thomas Batson

That's a quote from The Sword in the Stars by Wayne Thomas Batson, which is my favorite fantasy book ever. Bar none. It's especially potent because the villain and good king are identical kings.

I'm on the lookout for other quotes in it now.
