Mordir: I do, but I'm waiting for Ezekiel.

Tae: That's a pretty name.So, do you usually have to practice controlling wind? Or does it just come naturally?

Kitty: *bounces over to beach* I wanna help!

Kai: When did she learn how to talk so well?

Me: Klasi taught her while I was away.

Klasi: *giggles and follows Kitty*

Roel: *also bored*

Me: Go help with the treasure hunt.

Roel: I don't like treasure.

Kai: *silent glare*

Me: *gives up and lets them be bored*

Ouskar: *can't think of anything to say*

Arilledrae: (@Tae) *smiles* No. For us, manipulating the wind takes little thought. Making the wind move according to our moods takes as little thought as breathing, and doing other things with the wind takes about as much thought as it takes to move an arm or leg.

Tynx: Cool! [Tries to push Kai and Roel to the beach] C'mon, you two. Don't look bored. Treasure chests are always really heavy, 'cause they have so much treasure, so we need two strong people to help pull it up.

Me: He's really got that down to the wire, doesn't he?

Tae: Cool. Do you like controlling wind?

Aelynn: Who is Rhoronen?

Arilledrae: Having been born with the ability, it's never really been a question of liking or not liking. It's just...part of us. It's what we do. There are times I think it would be more useful to control other elements, but this is how I am. *a tendril of wind reaches out and lightly blows Tae's hair against her cheek*

Ouksar: Rhoronen is a what, not a who. It's the country I come from.

Tae: I see. That's cool. [Giggles] What's your world like?

Aelynn: Oops! Sorry. What's your world like, then?

Me: Why are my characters so inquisitive?

Kai: *dives from rafters and easily pins Tynx to the ground* Stupid fox.

Tynx: [Looks up at Kai, his tail wagging slowly] You shouldn't do that....

Tynx: Not your business. [Looks at Kai] There are ladies present sir. If you want to pick a fight, we should take it outside. Now, it's not fault that you don't want to help-

Seymour: You're only asking for trouble.

Tynx: Am I? Naw, I can take him!

Me: Way too confident for his own good.

Ouskar: Eh, Gellentara is nice if you like a structured, hierarchical society dominated by farmers. Vorose is a bit cold and the people are a bit grumpy. Rhoronen's wonderful, but I am biased.

Arilledrae: (@Tae) I do not know anything beyond my own island-continent. But Rotael is beautiful, inhabited only by the elemental races. Our mountains tower over the island, the tips disappearing into the clouds. Sparkling rivers wind through it, and the hills roll gently. The forests are dense and dark. And it's all quiet, so quiet. A few animals roam around, but our draegyns make up the majority of them. *watches Kai and Tynx*

Jaimie: * grips shovel * "Get off him, Kai."

Lars: "Um... Listen to her."

Shawn: * scratches head * "Well... See, Jay..."

Me: "Good luck explaining that."

*peeks back in after being gone nearly a week*

Me: I hate to be nit-picky, but technically the treasure hunt is an event and should be taking place in another thread... also if Kai/Tynx duel that's another thread...

Elanhil: *draws sword* Don't go attacking Jay in haste here, Chayn...

Cuoash: *sits down and begins to make a chain of wildflowers*

Me: And if Dragon and Merserath fight. Maybe we just something for a big melee brawl.

Ouskar: I'm not getting involved. Now, you asked about Rhoronen, let me think a bit.

Aelynn: [Laughs] I'm sure we all are biased to our own homes. Those places sound nice.

Seymour: Even the cold, grumpy one?

Aelynn: Yes, even them. Can't blame them really, I'd get grumpy if I lived in a cold place.

Me: Probably, seeing as your country is more south than the other two...

Tae: [Tries to imagine it] That sounds absolutely heavenly. What are draegyns? ARe they like dragons?

Chayn: [Slows down noticeably] What did Jay do to you?!

Mordir: Jay.... it was nice knowing you.

Me: What? You two were at each other's necks in the last rebellion.

Chayn: [Glances at Elanhil] I will try to refrain from harming him.... here, at least.

Tynx: [Looks at Elanhil] We'll move it. And the duel, should this turn out to be one.

Arilledrae: They are like dragons. My author says they're practically the same. Each elemental race has a race of dragons with which they have a special bond. Everyone, man or woman, first becomes an adult when he or she tames his or her draegyn. *watches what is going on with Chayn, Shawn, and Elanhil* (@Jay) What's happening?

Osukar: Rhoronen is harsh, though. It's full of winding cliffs and valleys canyons where nothing but scrubby plants grow. Lots of desert. My people follow herds as they make their way through and hunt the more dangerous folk that live in there. Lots of nights camping in a cave in a beautiful starlit night.

Me: I changed it from a Rohan rip-off to a Utah and Arizona rip-off.

Kai: We're not dueling. I'm just killing him. *picks up Tynx, throws him far out into the ocean, turns invisible and walks away*

Tae: Cool. They're kind of like Dragon Keepers in Allare. But, not everyone can be one.

Me: And Dragon Keeper's is more like a youth movement, anyway.

Chayn: [Huffs] Which is a new development

Me: Hey, I think it's different.

Aelynn: You hunt dangerous folk? What do you do to them?

Tynx: [Gasps and sputters and swims back to land] That... was so [Coughs] uncalled for.... but awesome. I'll bet you're just scared.

Tynx: [Shakes his fur, which fluffs out in all direction] Aw rats, now look what you did!

Chayn: I think you started it.

Ouskar: Depends on who they are. We mostly leave them alone. There are creatures though, that we hunt to kill.

Me: Who are these dangerous folk? (The interesting part of typos)

Ouskar: Rouges, scruffians, and the usual strange folk.

Arilledrae: (@Tae) *smiles* I suppose so, yes. Each elemental race has a specific breed of draegyn that they can tame. All others are a danger to them.

Me: Awesome! A conversation thread!

*Kironi rides in on Aquila with Soroki *

Me: Kironi! Why did you bring Soroki on your dragon? You know she gets airsick!

Soroki: *groans *

Kironi: Oops!

*Fayn jumps in in fox form, then quickly changes back to human form *
