Nit-picky, as in, an OCD character? Somebody wrote a character like that. Ever hear of Monk? It's a crime show and he's a majorly OCD detective... I think they wrote books too, but I can't advocate the books and I wouldn't say anybody I know would watch the show.

Either way, a character like that is rather interesting since they compulsiveness does indeed affect the kind of relationships they have with their friends. I've, personally, never written a character like that, but it would be fun to experiment with, like for a short story.

Yes, I've heard of Monk

My dad used to watch it some. I'm not sure if I mean like that, though. I mean just someone who is always worried about every little thing, like... oh, bother, I'm not sure just exactly how to explain. Maybe it is OCD, to an extent, but I've never really liked physcological terms. Someone who analyzes everything about someone else, and tells them his opinion on every single thing as though it's the Gospel truth. Does that help?
I do agree, it would be fun to write someone like that. I'm thinking about doing it soon
