By the way, this is both my 100th post, and the 100th "reply" post on this thread.



The Dark Prince: "What on earth are you talking about? Obviously you have only lived in your little dream world with that prince guy. You say he would never lie? Hmph! He has already lied! That is the beauty of his lies. He makes you believe they are truth, and the turns you into his slave. Haven't you already heard him speaking of you as his servant?! That is his way of alluding to the fact that he will soon have complete control over you to do whatever he wishes! Just wait and see how pleasant he can get! Or... you could just ignore him and take control of your own life. No worries, no stress. Utter freedom! Trust me. I've been there before; that prince almost had me under his thumb when I broke free, and I will tell you this: I am much more satisfied away from that mysterious one than I was with him!"

The Prince: *in a still, soft voice* "I am the Truth, the Way, and the Life. I change not what I have said, and continue to remain standing on my promises. You can choose to believe me, or you can believe him. It is up to you."

Gloria: *shrinks back*

Rogan: *shouting in the Dark Prince's face* Shut your mouth you liar! How dare you speak of my Prince that way, your creator and my God! He is truth. He is life. He is the way! I gave my life to Him. I would be better off as a slave to Him than a king at your side *scowls at the Dark Prince*. But I serve Him willingly. I am more then honored to be His servant. He is my God, my Creator, my Savior, and the only reason I have to live. Don't you ever speak a word against Him again or you will have to deal with my sword.

Eben: *wets a cloth and starts cleaning Jayson's wound.* Just tell me if it hurts Jayson, alright?

Jay: "It's fine."

Lars: (@ the Prince) "Um, geographical." (@ the Dark Prince) "And no, I'm not asking you.

OK, before I post anything, I want to let you know that while I like this side of my evil villain, he also has another side of him that needs to be developed. His more gentle, tempting, alluring side if you know what I mean. He has that way of talking that can draw people in and believe him, he seems so gentle and considerate but actually uses that for his personal gain. Also, I want a new name for him... So as of now he'll be "unknown" until I come up with a name. Feel free to suggest names, please! But, anyways, if you want to forget about the previous maliciously evil stuff my villain did in order to treat him better on this side of his character, by all means do.

The Prince: "Well...back when the world began, there was my father's kingdom amidst a gorgeous field. That was when (unknown) was a willing and beautiful servant of my King. How lovely (unknown) was, but then behind my father's back, he began planning a mutiny so that he could take over. My father would not tolerate this, so he forbade (unknown) from ever entering his kingdom again, and was forced to live in the field. Those who were planning the mutiny with (unknown) had the choice to repent or follow (unknown) and they chose to follow the unfaithful servant.

"As the years went on, (unknown) built his own kingdom that in some ways seemed to mirror The Shining City, but behind this mirror was utter evil. (Unknown) brewed this evil and gave it different names, such as sickness, separation, and sin. The King was not very pleased.

"Now, when this world was created, the King created another world as well. Us in this world can plainly see everything in the other world, but those in the other world cannot see us here.

"Anyways, the King had planned to populate both of these worlds. So, he prepared them with vegetation, animals, and the like. But he set aside one special creation, called man, that could live with him in his kingdom. However, (unknown) wanted this special creation for himself, so he decided to tempt it. Man decided to listen to (unknown) and disobeyed the king, causing man to live alone in the field, too. However, the king still cared for man and watched over him carefully. Many men became evil like (unknown) and (unknown) used them, but some remained faithful to the King.

"Many years later, the King decided that it was the perfect timing to set in motion his plan to allow man to live in his kingdom again. My father sent me out of his kingdom and I became a youth in the other world. After I taught the words of my father and his wife, my mother called Spirit, my father told me I had to die to make up for man's mistake. When I faced this challenge, the servants of (unknown) beat me and dragged me through the field, creating a narrow pathway. Finally, I was thrown into the mirror kingdom, where I defeated (unknown) and returned to my father's kingdom. That is why the pathway you see now goes so near to the mirror kingdom. However, when I left that place my footsteps continued to make a path veering away and into my father's kingdom. All who enter into my father's kingdom through this path and this path only will be accepted to live with him forever.

I'm sorry I couldn't just speak of the geography of my land, but the history and geography are so intertwined that I had to speak of both. This should be satisfactory, though."

Me: "Sorry if that was too long. Please ask questions if you're confused."

Gloria: "And though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I shall fear no evil..."

The Prince: *looks with pride at Gloria*

I think I might have missed something...Why was the Prince giving all this back ground stuff?.... Oh and a question, are you set in stone on what you gave for the background things, because I have an idea for something that you might like to change.

A suggestion for the (unknown)'s name is Rialtóir-olc? It's Irish for evil ruler. I kinda thought it was neat.

Me: Lars asked about the history of the land... It's not completely set in stone. I'd love to hear your idea!



(Unknown): I like that name...

Me: That is a really really good name. However, I was thinking something a little more good, actually. Because he started out as one of the King's servants, I was thinking he could have a more good name. That is what adds to his "charm;" he knows how to act "good." If he had an evil name, the characters would probably be more likely to not be as attracted to him... *files away name for future reference* That name's not out of the picture, though! I still love it, and may use it! Thanks for the suggestion. I appreciate it.

Well, You know how you said "his father and his mother, [his mother]being the Spirit"? I was thinking you might just want to say "his father" because the bible says the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit are one (the Trinity). Because of that I don't think the Holy Spirit would be a different gender from the Father and Son, because, after all, they are one. Just a thought to throw out there! If you don't like it you don't have to go with it, It's just what I thought I would do.

Shawn: *relaxes somewhat and hugs Gloria* "You did well out there. Thank you."

Me: "Hmmm... Names... Jacobo is a form of Jacob, which means supplanter, underminer, contender and interestingly enough, heel."

Eben: Jayson, You should rest a little while. But you can sit up. Just do not put much weight on your leg. We want it to heal quickly and properly.

Jay: *sits up and drums fingers*

Lars: "You can't sit still, can you?"

Shawn: *grins*

Me: Just to let you all know, I've decided to call my villain Rialtóir. Thank you, Lady Alina, for the suggestion!



Gloria: "Thank you." *towards Jayson* "Can you stand yet?"

The Prince: "He is well. Jayson, I suggest you get some sleep so you will be refreshed. Even the Lord himself rested on the seventh day."

Rialtóir: *looks at Jamie, non-scarily, and smiles*

Jayson: "I guess I will." "Where do I sleep?" *excuse*

Shawn: "Wow. That was fast. How did you do that?!?"

Me: *wonders if Jayson should snore*

Shawn: "How about 'no'?"

Me: "The tough decisions authors have to make..."

Shawn:

Jaimie: *relaxes, her expression softening somewhat*

Prince Rialtóir: "Here! Sleep on this conveniently place sofa!"

The Prince: "Well, Jayson, there's a nice patch of pathway right there." *points*

Prince Rialtóir: *at Jamie* "It's nice to see your little brother taken care of and well, isn't it? I should know. I always felt the same way about my family."

The Prince: *fixes his eyes on Jamie to see how she will react, hand on sword*

Jayson: *falls asleep on sofa as it is the closet thing* *soft snore*

Shawn:

Lars: "Knew it."

Me:

Jaimie: *cautiously and softly* "Yes..." *stares in thought, her eyes swimming with a turmoil of emotions*

Prince Rialtóir: "I am afraid something is the matter, my dear. What is it?" *looks concerned*

The Prince: *clenches sword, but makes no movement. He just watches."

Gloria: "Lars! What in the Two Kingdoms are you doing?!"

The Prince: *at Lars* "I don't believe it is customary to roll on the ground like that. I suppose that is why she found it odd. I find it not wrong to express your delight in that manner, but remember, Lars, do unto others..."

Lanna: *Looks at Prince Riator and shudders.*

She could tell something was awfully wrong with his pressence, but couldn't place her finger on it...

Lars: *baffled* "Um... It's called 'rolling on the floor laughing'..."

Jaimie: *wary* "Just remembering some things... A long time ago." *sighs in frustration and sorrow*

Jayson: *oblivious*

Me:

Shawn: *looks at The Prince* "Anyway you can stop him from snoring?" *hopeful*

Gloria: "Oh, uh, OK..." *to self* "That is most peculiar..."

Prince Rialtóir: "Lady Jamie, you appear to have something you yearn to tell, but yet wish to hide it. Could I be of some service and listen to your story? I promise I will not laugh at or ridicule you. Please, share with me your troubles."

The Prince: *whispers in still, soft voice under the wind* "I will never leave you, nor forsake you. Cast all your cares upon me."

Gloria: *hears this whisper, but fears Jamie is too distracted by Prince Rialtóir to notice*

The Prince: *to Shawn* "I'm afraid that I will not change the way I created Jayson to sleep, my dear. I find it quite amusing. I find that it's all boring if you make everyone sleep silently. It gets so quiet in the night." *has amused grin*

Shawn: *wry face*

Lars: *chuckles*

Jaimie: "I was just remembering... Josh."

Shawn: *cracks knuckles distractedly*

Lanna: *Looks from The Prince To Prince Rialtor, not being able to decide which one seems more trust worthy.*

Eileene: (who is standing by Gloria) *Hopes that Jamie won't believe Rialtor, and also hopes that Lanna won't either*

Rogan: Lanna-

Eileene: Rogan, this choice is Lanna's, Let her make it, not you for her.

Rogan: *sighs in exasperation*

Prince Rialtor: "Josh? Who is he, my dear?"

Gloria: *is very interested at the scene and watches closely*

The Prince: *softly, in the wind* "...the old has passed away, behold the new has come."

Lanna: *watches closely and eagerly...*

Me: "Sorry I'm so very late..."

Jaimie: "Josh was--is--my older brother." * bites lower lip and whispers * "He bought it."

Shawn: * continues cracking knuckles distractedly, staring into the ground *

Lars: * considers drawing on Jay with a "dry erase" marker * * glances at Gloria * * thinks again *

Jay: * oblivious *

Me: "Guys, behave."

Jay: * oblivious *

Me:

Prince Rialtor: "He bought it? What is it that your brother purchased? And what do you mean 'was-is'? Did something happen?"

The Prince: *shoots a playful glance at Lars* "Don't do that unless you'd want Jay to do the same to you." *chuckles*

Gloria: *is intrigued by Prince Rialtor and Jamie's conversation*

Lanna:*watches and waits to see what happens...*

Jaimie: "No, no! It was... it was... It was a stupid war, okay!"

Me: "Ouch."

Shawn: * looks at Jaimie *

Jaimie: "He was making pickup on her brother, and... he... bought a farm."

Lars: * quiet *

Shawn: "So you're blaming me?!"

Alina: *confused* And this is a big deal, becuase....?

Jaimie: * clearly upset * "What's a big deal?!"

Me: * sigh *

Alina: *backs up* Jaimie, I don't mean to upset you, but why is it a big deal if your brother bought a farm when he wanted to?

Prince Rialtor: "Dearest Lady Jamie, I am truly sorry for you. Some how, though, I fail to realize what a war and a farm have to do with each other, and what is wrong with becoming a farmer. Many people become very successful with farms if they wish." *slides arm around Jamie's shoulders in a comforting way*

The Prince: *whispering* "Fear not, for I am with you. The old has passed away, behold the new has come."

Me: "Starship Troopers vocabulary..."

Jaimie: "He went into the war and didn't make it back, okay? He managed to get someone else out of there but not himself."

Shawn: "Oh, and you're mad at me because of that?"

Jamie: "If you hadn't-"

* argument is indecipherable at this point due to the loud, um, yelling *

Jay: "Huh?"

Lars: "Welcome back."

Alina: *annoyed and becoming upset* But what does that have to do with a stupid farm?!. People make sacrifices when they have to. *now completely upset* My best friend died trying to save me. Do you think I blamed one of my friend's because of that?. No! Because it wasn't their fault. Sometimes things are our own fault Jaimie, and we've got to face it and deal with it. Like the Prince said, the old has gone, the new has come!. Can't you just except the new and forget peoples past mistakes?...

Rogan: *moves over to Lars and Jay* Uh...What just happened? Jay, have any clue what Lady Jaimie is talking about?....

Eileene: *goes over to Gloria and gives her a side hug* Stay strong. Sometimes
Prince Rialtor is deceiving, He's not as nice as he seems. Trust in the Prince, for you can lean on him. He won't let go of your hand.

Prince Rialtor: *gently* "It has nothing to do with a real farm, Lady Jamie. Can you not see that? Josh risked his life to save Shawn's brother."

Me: "I think..."

Prince Rialtor: "I can see why Jamie blames Shawn. So, calm down both of you. Jamie, I have noticed the obvious: You have a need to give off some frustration. Would you like to tell me everything that happened? I think you will find your burden lightened by sharing it with another."

The Prince: *whispers* "Cast all of your worries on me, for I care for you."

Jaimie: "Kurt wasn't doing what he was supposed to! Besides, Josh should never have gone. He didn't have to go."

Shawn: "Oh, so now it's my brother and mine's fault!"

Jay: * bewildered * "What in the world... How did they get arguing over that?!"

Jaimie: * calms slightly * "See.... There was a war in another country."

Rogan: I have no clue....

Alina: Then why are you going on about a farm when it was a war?...

Lars: "It's the way that the military puts it. If you buy a piece of a farm, you were injured, and so on."

Me: "What he said."

Jay: "Guys? Um..."

Alina: Oh...Thanks Lars.... But still, Jaimie, how long ago did this happen? And why blame Shawn's brother?. Don't you think Shawn's brother is sad that his best friend died?.

The Prince: "You have missed plenty, Jayson. If you had slept on the path like I suggested..."

Gloria: *awaits Jamie's response*

Fennella - (approaching Gloria) hello, my name is Fennella. We were sent here by a certain Princess by invitation from a certain Captain.

Lachart - Fennella, I told you to keep quiet and observe until I can figure out who's safe around here.

Fennella - and this is Lachart. You have such a beautiful dress! Did you make it?

(Lachart realizes she won't listen and decides all he can do is stay close to protect her)

Gloria: *turns to Fenella* "You have such a pretty name!" *curtsies* "I am Gloria. Thank you for your compliment on my dress. I did not make it. The King, the Prince's father, made it for me. I received it through the Prince."

The Prince: *bows* "Hello there! I am the Prince, son of the King and his wive, Spirit, rulers of this entire land. Are both of you loyal to my family?"

Prince Rialtor: *breaks away momentarily from Jamie, and bows to the new comers* "Welcome! My name is Prince Rialtor, ruler of the Light-Bearing Kingdom." *turns back to Jamie*

Gloria: "And what land do you two come from?"

Fennella - We are from the Highland Fo----

Lachart - (interrupting) Very far away. (whispers) Don't tell too much.

Fennella - (speaking slowly) Please to meet you Gloria, Prince Rialtor,And Prince...uh... What was your name?

Jaimie: * bites her lip in frustration *

Jay: "The path..."

Me: "Remember?"

Jay: "Ohhhhhh. Right. Um..."

Me: * prods Lars *

Lars: "Welcome, Lachart and Fennella!"

The Prince: "That is my name. Just the Prince. Or Prince if you prefer. I'm sure you'll come up with plenty of alternate names for me." *winks at both of them*

Prince Rialtor: "Jamie, dear, please! Lets go into a quiet corner where you can tell me everything, away from all of these distractions." *glares around the room suddenly, unnoticeable to Jamie, and then has his beautiful countenance back*

Jaimie: * quietly nods *

Jay: * notices glare * "Uh, Jaimie, maybe you should just calm down..."

Me: "Says you?"

Jay:

Lars: "She has a point there, you know."

Shawn: * bites lip, upset *

Morag - (whispering to Fennella) That mysterious Prince is quite handsome, don't you think.

Fennella - where'd you come from?

Morag - I've been here the whole time. You didn't think I'd let you two children go off alone, did you?

Lachart - (mutters to self) Children. We're probably more responsible that she is.

Alina: *curtsies and extends hand with a warm hand-shake* Hello Fennella! I'm Alina, this is Rogan *points to Rogan* That's Eileene over there by Gloria *points to Eileene*
*looks around and lowers voice* Things are a bit of a mess around here....Prince Rialtor is quite strange...I can't tell whether to trust him or not. The Prince seems trust-worthy...He's, well...I dunno *shrugs* I'm still trying to figure every thing out here.
*looks at Morag and Lachart* Who are your friends?

Rogan: *bows* Greetings Lady Fennella, Lady Morag. I am Sir Rogan, and it is a pleasure to meet you. *turns to Lachart and gives a bow of the head* Sir Lachart, nice to meet you.

Eileene: *curtsies* Lady Fennella, Lady Morag, Sir Lachart. I am honoured to meet you. If you need any thing just ask. *gives a warm smile*

The Prince: "Welcome, Lady Morag!" *bows* "I thank you for the compliment."

Gloria: *to Morag* "Prince Rialtor is quite handsome, too... sometimes I think more handsome than the Prince. It's so hard to tell sometimes!"

Price Rialtor: *his ears prick at the mention of his name, but still pays attention to Jamie*



Gloria: *said quietly to Alina* "I know exactly how you feel, Alina."

The Prince: *to the newcomers* "So, which side do you follow? My family's, or Prince Rialtors?"

Fennella - pleased to meet you Alina. My only friend here is Lachart. He has known me for as long as either of us can remember. As for Morag... Well, I suppose you could say she is my mother.

Lachart - (standing a little straighter after being called "sir") Sir Rogan, the pleasure is mine.

Morag - Thank you for the warm greeting. If my daughter and the boy add to the current mess, I shall take them away posthaste.

Fennella - (turning toward the Prince again) I apologize for my mistake, Prince. I am not a very valiant listener.

Morag - I think you mean vigilant. You aren't a very vigilant listener. (snickers)

Fennella - yes, vigilant. I know not which side to follow, though if I had to choose this moment, I would choose to side with the kinder Prince. The one who seems to think we are worth talking to.

Alina: No, no, no! Please, stay. I'd love to get to know them better!
