Annnnyway, nice to meet you! My name's Dawn, Even, Estar, Star, or any variation thereof {just not late to dinner, if you please!}. And I would totally identify with "sweet maiden." I mean, c'mon! Fake cookie-bearing elf?! *gasps* Never!

On an "entirely" different subject, I just baked some fresh chocolate chip cookies! *Hands Blitz a plate covered in still-warm cookies* Dig in!

And, by-the-by, I really like your intro: it's short and to the point, yet funny and smacks of fantasy. Do you have any fantasy authors you go to/read for inspiration?

Ahem. Proper introductions are in order. Mig and I always agree on...everything. It's sort of a long-running inside joke on the OYAN forum. If I don't have time to write up my thoughts on something, I just say, "When Mig gets here he'll sum up what I think very well." And he does, better than I would say it. So we always agree. Except about carrots, but carrots aren't important anyway. He's awesome and cool and funny and all sorts of good stuff and don't let him tell you otherwise.

He and I, along with one other OYAN member, are the thread hijacking 'Three Amigos.' Watch out if SHE joins this forum too. We made our own thread for chatting over there so we wouldn't hijack so much.

Aldara: I'm taking a semi-hiatus after finishing one of my other projects, but yes, I'm kinda writing (more like plotting) a couple new pieces of writing right now. *decides to be... vague* One is a sequel to the book I just finished, and the other is a slightly heavier novel about an abortionist.

Airianna: What brought me here? I'm not sure really I guess I just joined because I knew this was a growing community and I wanted to see what God was doing through HW for myself.

Evenstar: Hm... I shall be sure to come up with an extravagant nickname for you--something involving cookies As to your question, I do indeed. I enjoy Lewis, Dekker, Alcorn, Peretti, and a good many others that I'm too lazy to list at the moment. My number one influence would have to be Tolkien, however, as he is the man who first pushed me into the writing world.

Windmill-slaying-hero: *Chuckles* Thank you very much, Knight. I must say, however, that the mention of those Little People is somewhat frightening to me. They remind me overly much of other little blue people otherwise (horrendously) known as Smurfs...

Except that my Little People aren't blue, don't wear white "gowns" and "sleeping" hats, and they definitely do not have tails. Their skin tends to be the color of chocolate, their clothes sewn from tree threads, and they live near the forest in the center of rock. Plus, they are only a three inches tall. They just tend to love airobatics.

Of course, when the First Queen disappears, they become a hunted race. Rewards are given to those hunters who bring back their bodies, dead or alive. If alive, most likely they will be enslaved.

Those are my Little People, yes.

...I should look into these Smurfs though. They must be extremely distant relations of some sort. Perhaps.

You know, I was incredibly tempted to say that that "weirded me out," but then I'd be lying... Anyway, your Little People sound like rather interesting chappies and chappesses. I look to meeting them if I ever have the pleasure of doing so.
