I am dreaming up an island in the Pacific Ocean that no one knows about. It's supposed to feel as though it could exist in the real world. It is a modern country, but has a very medieval European kind of culture. The larger of the two countries, Myania, was founded by Princess Léanna's ancestor just after Columbus discovered America, and the tiny island forgotten among the excitement of an entirely new continent, except by a small band of pirates, who shortly after attempted to found their own civilization on the opposite side of the island. The pirates tried to force the colony off of the island, but the colony, led by the founder; refused to leave. The two tiny countries have been warring each other off and on through the centuries ever since, Myania wanting only peace, and the pirate country wanting land. I have told you all this just to ask--what would be an appropriate name for the pirate country? I have tried and tried to come up with one, but cannot find one to my satisfaction. Thanks in advance!
