Yes, we just keep on improving the blog and changing things.

In July HW launched its monthly photo manipulation challenge. The prize? Their piece would be featured on the HW blog, recognizing them for their masterful efforts. Starting in September we will begin to have a monthly Saturday post, dedicated specifically for these winners. Because the judging wraps up the last weekend of every month, we have chosen to showcase the winners on the first Saturday of the month.

The feature will include the picture, an announcement that they are the photo manipulation victor, and a small piece by the winner about what inspired them to create the piece they did.

We hope these efforts will allow everyone the opportunity to admire the craftsmanship of many of our talented HW artists. Our first winner will actually be featured this Saturday, so stay tuned.

It is, isn't it?! The blog has been my pet project for a long time now, about 8 months, actually. So I love seeing how it has grown during that time.

I've also liked seeing how much it has grown. I know you've worked hard on it, for which I'm grateful, and I'm sure everyone else is, too.

This will be a good addition to it.

*rubs arm where Airianna dragged her* No, no, my job is easy. She does all the hard work. The only difficult part of my job is the domestic violence of being dragged and swatted with newspapers.

*literally covered her mouth when she laughs out loud * Someone is going to come and arrest me under domestic violence charges one of these days... Philli keeps telling on me.
