I'm off for the Oregon Coast. We're leaving tomorrow and coming back on the 13th. Please keep the glitter on while I'm gone.

Break out the glitter, chaps and chapesses, because I am returned! (Pronounced retur-ned.)

And yes, I'm just as Neil-ish as ever.

Highlights: toured a pre-nuclear submarine, took in the awe inspiring awesomeness of Mount Saint Helens, wandered the beach for hours, found a sand dollar on the beach (and was kindly given three others for a project), climbed the Astoria Column, thought constantly about HW, etc.

Twas fun. And now I am excited about returning to my delightfully mundane, contentedly everyday, blissfully normal, average life.
