In my main Firefox profile (lots of add-ons, several pinned tabs, lots of other tabs, including several HW topics I want to reply to soonish in the second group), most of the time when I try to log into Holy Worlds (with or without the "log me in automatically" box checked) it tells me I've successfully logged in, then takes me back to the login screen again. If I click one of the links on the "you've logged in" page, that usually takes me either to that page with me not logged in (if it's something that one doesn't have to be logged in to view, like the list of forums) or to the login page again (if it's restricted, like the User Control Panel).
This behavior started only a couple of weeks ago, and only happens in Firefox (not in
ELinks, which I use for reading new posts from
my email client when I get update emails, nor in other browsers I've tried)---and I recently tried a fresh Firefox profile and logging in worked there.
I've tried force-logging out, emptying the Firefox cache, deleting all HW-related cookies (unless there were some without holyworlds in their domain ...) repeatedly, and so on. None of that had any effect---except that once for the first "refresh" after clearing HW-related cookies I appeared to be logged in, but refreshing again showed me the login screen again.
Any ideas?
