Okay, so I have been writing my book for a about a year, and I really need to develope my main character more! I have been able to develope some of my other characters, But I had to kill off my most developed character.... So, It boils down to this! : I need to develope my characters more and I think I need help doing it!

Personality: Kind, outspoken, generous, and not quite sure about the rest....

Personality: kinda confused....

Hilmar Macullock:

Other details: She likes being optimistic and encouraging, is satisfied with what she has in life, sees no point in God because she “is good” and wants control in her life.

Julliana: "Julliana." *sticks hand to shake Gaspar's hand* "I've never met anyone elven before..." *is a little hesitant* "Would you mind please explaining about your race?"

Eileene: *smiles at Juliana* "Explain my race? That is not a very easy task Lady Juliana...It is like asking how can you explain your race to me? So be paitent and I shall try to do my best at this."

"We elves are all tall, fit, active, graceful (usually ) most of us are fair in coloring, although there is the odd one every now and then with a darken complection. We are spread out all thoughout Terra in various kingdoms. We almost never marry into other races. Although there are the few who marry OranEas and Human. It would be best if you came to Valdemar and read the scrolls in the libraries on our history."

Hilmar: *Bows to Victoria* "Good morning My Lady. How do you fare? Fair I hope."

Me: Excuse Hilmar, he tends to make the corniest puns you'll ever find....

Hilmar: *looks annoyed at me, but continues to talk with Victoria* What is this "Earth" you say you live on? Is it close to Terra?"

Rogan: Greetings Lady Nemo, Or do you go by Captian?. I am Sir Rogan Gallagher, knighted by His Majesty King Korith the third. How may I be of survice?"

Lanna: Rogan, I don't think Captian Nemo is a Queen....

Rogan: Lanna, Shh...You should not try to offend our guests here in Terra.

Lanna: *rolls eyes* Fine. I'll go see what Eileene is talking about while you talk about the weather with Her Highness Lady Captian Nemo the Twenty-First.

Oh, my world is medieval so their clothes are to and so are *looks suspiciously at Lanna* some of their mannerisms.

Oh! And just one more thing to add in:
Eileene is a recent Christian, Hilmar is a Christian and so is Rogan.
Lanna is struggling with what to believe but in the end of my book she becomes a Christian.

Terra is the temporary name for my world.

Hilmar is a squire that is going to be knighted in like, 15-20 pages.
Eileene is an archer but knows how to fight with a sword.
Rogan, as you can see, is a knight.
Lanna knows how to use a light, one handed sword and is learning how to use a bow and arrow.

Thanks for giving those notes! I actually have another world that is medieval, too. If you want to introduce your characters to that world, too, it's in the forum "Two worlds and five new characters." Don't worry about reading everything before, you can just jump right in.

Julliana: "I would love to come to your land and read the scrolls. But, alas, I do not know how to get there. However, your explanation is quite sufficient for now. Thank you."

Victoria: "Since when did you begin speaking like that?"

Julliana: "I'm trying to become a little more culturally relevant towards their culture, that's all."

Victoria: *to Hilmar* "Ha ha. Veeerry funny. Yes, I'm fine, thank you. It's very nice to meet you." *extends hand to shake Hilmar's* "I have no idea how close Earth is to Terra. I suppose your author would know better than I would. It is a beautiful planet that our creator, the one true God, made for us humans to live in. It has soft green grass, gorgeous blue skies, fluffy white clouds, sandy desserts, greenish-blue oceans, and a plethora of beasts."

Me: *goes into Captain mode* "You may refer to me as Captain, or ma'am. Is that understood? Also, I am honored to be in the presence of a knight." *bows courteously* "I will let you know that I am not easily offended, and as for your services, if you could help develop my Victoria, I'm sure that she'd be equally obliged to do the same for you."

Victoria: *sighs* "Sure. Why not?"

Me: "For your information, Lanna, I do not tolerate being called anything above or below my rank from strangers, nor am I the 21'st of anything." *backs off now and allows my characters to take the spotlight*

Julliana: "Come on, Lenna. Perhaps you could guide me to Valdemar so I can read these scrolls Eileene speaks of?"

Lanna: Uh...well, I have actually never been there, you see, I've lived in a small village all my life in the service of my guardian, Madam Elizabeth. But my village was raided and burned to the ground so I fled to the safety of the forest where I was found by Rogan, Eileene, Arica, Orica, and Earl.
Right now I am traveling with Rogan, Eileene, and Hilmar to Valdemar, so if you want to I guess you can come with us, but I'll have to warn you, it isn't that pleasant...

Eileene: Yes! Do come with us Lady Juliana.

Hilmar: Hmm...sounds a lot like Terra...Although our world has much more drastic land-scape.

Rogan: Certainly Captain. *joins Victoria and Hilmar* Hello, Lady Victoria, I hope Hilmar is making you feel welcome here on Terra, for I know it can be uncomfortable in a new, and strange place where you know of no one or know any one. If you have any concerns or are uncertain of any thing, please, feel free to ask myself or Eileene for assistence. *smiles at Vicky*

Julliana: "I don't mind non-pleasant. I'm in good physical condition. I run track! I'll come if my parents let me. I'll just call them real quick." *calls parents on cell phone*

Victoria: "Wait. I just missed something. Julliana is going on a trip with you guys? Can I go?!"



Victoria: "Our world has drastic land-scapes too. I'm guessing just not as drastic. Oooh! After our trip to Valdemar, could we explore Terra more? I would love to see more of your land!"



Victoria: "Oh, I feel very welcome, thank you. However, this world doesn't seem quite so strange as I suppose it could be... although it is pretty strange to me to be on a different planet at all." *smiles at Rogan* "Why are you going to Vlademar?"

Rogan: Uh.... If you do not mind, Lady Victoria, It would be best not to tell you. I do not wish to scare you.

Lanna: It won't scare her, Rogan. She is older then me, and it didn't scare me.

Rogan: *gives Lanna "the eye"*



Eileene: Oh good! *adds in mind: I just hope running track is enough for what we'll be doing... *



Lanna: Sure! Of course you can come, I'd just like to warn you though, We're also traveling with Vanshcoppen and Eben. But that's alright, I'm sure you'll like them.

Me: *crosses fingers*



Hilmar: I'm sure we would be able to explore Terra more after, but you would need to have to learn how to use a sword and a bow first.

Julliana: "You'd be surprised at all we do just to run... I don't know about other running teams, but ours really gets physical. Weight lifting, hurtle jumping. I bet you that I can face up to any challenges we encounter! By the way, my parents said I could come. I think that's because they think I'm playing a game, though..."



Victoria: "I'll probably like them. What are they like?"



Victoria: *gulps* "Does that mean I might have to--kill--someone or something?"

Julliana: "What ever are you afraid of? It's only for defense. If you don't know how to utilize proper weaponry, then you may get killed!" *thinks a moment* "How did I know all that stuff?"

Victoria: "History class must be paying off... Alright. I've taken Archery before. Give me a bow, and I'll show you my skill. However, I would need help with a sword..."

Julliana: "Give me my weapons, and teach me how to use them. I will utilize them wisely and honorably!"

Victoria: "Oh, I almost forgot! I need to call my parents, too." *grabs cell-phone and calls parents, then hangs up after a little conversation* "They surprisingly agreed, providing I make it home for dinner tonight... I told them I was with you, Julliana, and I think they believe I'm sleeping over..."

Julliana: "Well, who would believe that we're going to another world?"

Lanna: *grins* Vanshcoppen is...well, uh, apparently a wizard, but I have yet to see him use magic or a spell of any thing like that. He is old, seventy-three. Cranky, moody, and is always trying to bother you. Complains a lot. But when needed is the wisest old man you could ever meet. You'll love him in no time.
Eben is a healer, and knight. He is a hard one to get to know. Hilmar is his squire, so you would be better off asking him about Eben.



Hilmar: Yeah y-

Rogan: *looks sternly at Hilmar* Lady Victoria, it is not an easy task to kill, but when you are doing it for a noble cause, you must. And even if you do not go out into battle you at least must know how to defend yourself if you are attacked when you are alone some where.

Eileene: Julianna, I know you could probably take what we must train you, But you must understand, no matter what you are fighting, it is not pleasant. And battle is horrific. For any one. If you hide your fear and try to ignore it, it will just come back to haunt you. Don't be afraid to show your true feelings dear. *smiles kindly at Julianna*



Rogan: We are going to Valdemar to warn His Majesty's army against the attack that is coming. Mortan has gathered and army and his master will stop at nothing to gain control of all of us.

Victoria: "I am sure I will like him, if you say I will... As for learning how to use a weapon, I think I will. Although I don't particularly want to use it on anyone, I do want to know how to defend myself."

Julliana: "That goes the same for me. Don't worry! I'm not about to go rampant and kill everyone."

Victoria: "Eben.... hmmm... I feel like I've heard of him before somewhere... weird."

Julliana: "The quest sounds like it's a noble one. Let's begin!"

...Uh...How exactly will they get to another world...??

Hmm...let me think about this for a little while..I, never mind that wouldn't work........

Me and every thing: POOF!! They apear in the middle of a forest, trees on every side, with a small canvas tent and a fire that instantly started warming them up.

Lanna: Here we are!. Make yourselves at home. Julianna, Victoria, You two will sleep in the tent with Eileene and I.

An old looking man with a long chinese style mustache and a medium length beard came towards them with a puzzled look on his face. He was clad in ___________

Me: Yes, I am still working on what style of clothes he should have, but for now just imagine whatever comes to mind.

Vanschoppen: *hurries towards Victoria and Julianna and inspects them with great curiosity and turns to the rest* In heavens name, Rogan! What in Terra did you bring back with you?! I send you off to get some food and you come back with these? Well, does it look to you like we can eat them? Goodnes no!. What were you thinking!

Eben: Vanschoppen, you can obviously see that these ladies are as uncomfortable about this as you. Now be more civil!.
*clears throat and turns towards Julianna and Victoria*
Hello, welcome to our camp. I am Sir Eben, and I see you have already met my squire, Hilmar.

Hilmar: Yes, Eben, this is Victoria Woods and Julianna Rich. They are from the kingdom Earth.

Rogan: Vanschcoppen, calm down!. And you are not eating them. They are travelers we found in the woods. They are cold and hungry. Do you have any thing cooking or left from yesterday that we could feed them?.

Eileene: *whispers to Victoria and Julianna* Don't mention that your from a different plantet.

Victoria: "That... was... an experience, to say the least....."

Julliana: "I'm still not sure what just happened..."

Me: "By the way, Julliana's name is spelled with two 'L's and one 'N'"



Me: "Why not Chinese warrior clothes? It'd match his mustache."



Victoria: "If you really need something to eat, I think I have a protein bar with me. I usually carry a few on hand because of athletics..."

Julliana: "Me too..." *searches in bags and finds enough protein bars for everyone and hands them out*

Victoria: *out loud* "Why shouldn't we mention that we're from another planet?"

Julliana: *glares*

Vanschoppen: *stares at protein bar wrapper* What in the world....?

Lanna: *quickly picks up wrappers and throws them into the fire*

Hilmar: *thinks quickly* Vanschoppen, Eben, Where these two ladies come from every country is referred to as a planet. It's just how it works there, But please, don't correct them, *lowers voice* They'll feel bad...!

Eileene: *tries to hold her tongue*

Rogan: *smiles*

Julliana: "You're supposed to eat it. It's high in protein, vitamins, and is very filling, too!"

Victoria: *with mouth full* "rfghrEAT ITrghrjg raghIT'S REALLYrghrad dradGOOD!!!rhgu" *swallows* "You'll need your strength."



Victoria: "..." *stares* "Sorry! I tend to say stuff before I completely think them through..."

Julliana: "Um, that's not right. Where we come from, every country is called a country. A planet is a mass suspended in outer space. They can be composed of gas, solids, or liquids. Stars share this outer space, and are composed of exploding gas."

Victoria: "School show off..."

Lanna: *Sighs and feels like ripping her hair out out of frustration* Victoria, Julliana, Eileene, and Hilmar, can I speak to you four *points towards the trees* over there?

Julliana: "Uh... sure." *reluctantly follows*

Victoria: "Why?" *walks over with curiosity*

Lanna: Look, If Vanshcoppen and Eben know that you girls come from a different world, their going to freak out. They won't let you stay with us. You could even be harmed. So please, watch what your saying!. I don't want any thing to happen to you two. Do you understand?...

Eileene: Alina's right. Julliana, Victoria, can you keep this promise and not speak a word.

Rogan: Right. I think the best thing to stick with is Hilmar's idea about you guys thinking that a country is a world.... Oh, and no more granola-bar things!.

Julliana: "Alright!" *walks over to Vanshcoppen* "Sir, would you mind if I went to hunt for some fowl? I'm sure there's something good to eat around here if we can find it."

Victoria: *sighs* "OK." *goes to sit by the fire, and prepares to ask the others about their beliefs* "So... are y'all Christians?"

Vanshcoppen: Certainly, just take someone with you.

Lanna: I'll go with you, Julliana.

*Lanna and Julliana start making their way into the trees*

Rogan: If by what you mean in the word Christians as following Christ Jesus, then yes, we are indeed....*Stops making eye-contact with Victoria* Although, I do not know where Lanna lies in her faith.

Me: Sorry for being late...

Victoria: "Yes, that is exactly what I mean. I am a Christian, although I've been rather confused about my beliefs..."

Julliana: "So... do you have any interesting beasts here, or are they the same as on Earth?"

Lanna: *laughs* Well...I don't know what creatures you have on Earth, So I'll guess a little. Do you have dragons on Earth?...How about Griffins?...A Devlinathree?.... Other wise I'm pretty sure it's the same, dogs, cats, horses, bunnies, etc.

Vaughan: Victoria, my dear, We all have doubts. Confusion is a natural part of life, We all are confused at one point or another, But if I can help you with your doubts and confusion, I would gladly help you. To show you truth.

Eileene: Victoria, I know exactly how you feel. Only recently did I find out what it means to be a Christian.

Julliana: "Yo-you-y-you mean those creatures are real here?" *gulp* "Well... let's get hunting..."

Victoria: "Thank you all... it is very reassuring to hear that, but I feel like this is a journey I am going to have to go through myself with God somehow..."

Vaughan: *Nods seriously* I understand very well. And I reassure you, all things are possible through Christ who strengthens you.


Alina: Yep! It's pretty crazy here

Victoria: "Thank you very much, sir... Now where are Julliana and Alina? I'm worried for them."


Julliana: *sees some rustling bushes* "And... what would that be?... In there?" *points to bush*

Alina: *stares at bush* It looks like a...a-a-a......thing...you know, one of those....hopping poisonous things that are really cute...


Rogan: They'll be fine. I'll go out and look for them if their not back by tomorrow.

Julliana: *sees the thing hop out from the bush* "Awwww! There's nothing to worry about." *chuckles* "It's just a bunny! A cute little bunny." *pends down to pet the bunny, and bunny hisses* "A BUNNY WITH FANGS!!!" "What do we do???"

Alina: Um...RUN!

Fangful Bunny: *rapidly starts growing to a larger size* GWWWAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRRRH!!!
