Ha! Not really a ballad! Had you going there didn't I? :rofl:

Anyway, now that I've suppressed my other personalities into a relatively controlled state, I should probably begin the introduction.
My name is Joshua A. Spotts, aspiring author and inspiring writer. I thoroughly enjoy Celtic mythology/history and have an interest in any all other mythology/ancient religions. I'm a language nerd. I know Koine Greek and with effort can translate Anglo-Saxon.
I have numerous books with first chapters alone complete. Two of my novels, however, are nearing the final pages and should soon be ready for the editing process. My own editing first and then sending it out to publishers.

Glad to be here, looks like a fun, welcoming place filled with Nerds!!!...like me!

Welcome to Holy Worlds Ardae (Joshua)!

I also love ancient history. ^^ Some I've been interested in are the Egyptians, Romans, Greeks, Hebrews, and Jews. The Celts have also be a point of interest to me because of my heritage.

Feel no shame about only having first chapters to many ideas. At least a portion of your thoughts made it to the paper. I'm pretty sure all of us have 1 (or numerous) projects that are incomplete. ;)

Editing your own stories is so much fun! X3

Nerds?!?!? What? Well, it may be true mentally. :rofl:

Again, welcome to our beloved forums!

Welcome to Holy Worlds, Joshua! Sounds like you'll fit in well! :dieshappy:

What are your novels about? Or is it highly secret?

Welcome Ardae!
Have a good day!
Because what I say;
Is hi, hello, Hey!

Hello because you are new;
The walruses verily greet you!
And are happy to meet you too!
So go ahead and do whatever you do!

Welcome Ardae! Welcome from me, and my walruses! *throws pickle-confetti into air*

Nerd, y'say? Well, you'll fit right in, won't ya! :D

Welcome! Have a cupcake. I am quite excited to hear that you're near the end of one of your books... this is very good news! Don't worry about the unfinished works - after you edit the one story, you can pick a new one to finish! :D

We'd love to hear more about your stories, if you'd be willing to tell us. :D

Ardae, you sound pretty awesome. (And I don't usually say that. :shock: )
Cool that you're almost finished with your book! Is it fantasy? Historical fiction?
I'm glad you joined Holy Worlds. Welcome! And here are your hot fresh welcome muffins. *hands you the basket* Blueberry ones.

Greetings and many welcomes, o far traveler Ardae! Lay thy feet down, and, here, have some warm stew and pie. *dishes up said stew from boiling cauldron on fire, and serves up slices of traditional cinammon apple pie*

I must say, I'm very impressed at your progress in your drafts! You sound quite determined - an indespensible trait for any writer that wants to be published. So, congrats! *throws wads of glitter around in the air and watches it flitter around like fairies*

M'name's Dawn, or Estar, or Evenstar, or anything other than late for dinner, by the way! *swirls cloak and vanishes in puff of glitter*
