My name is David, but you can call me Tears, or Wynd. I live in MT and have finished one book so far in my series Legends of Araeth. It is currently 52,000 words long, and still needs a lot of work. My world is called Tira, and I shall be posting a lot about it for review. I'd really like to know what everyone thinks of my ideas. ^_^

So, what is your series about?

The one I've completed is the first in a series of four which deals with Justice and World-View. In the first book, titled Fifth Ascension, the main character, Devon,(who is an Arathian) is forced by an unidentified influence to release an ancient race of creatures known as the Zechtechka. They were originally created as a means to destroy Araeth, and it is their only purpose. To be brief, they spread across his homeland, the Eastord Region, and the Grey Region, of Araeth. In the last few chapters of the book, the capital city of his region is attacked and he is one of the defenders. During the battle it is revealed that the previous generation had also fought the Zechtechka, something kept secret from the younger. Devon's mentor is killed by the Hive Lord, Shezon. This triggers the full awakening of a second being which resides inside Devon, that being is Karruk'ai, the last of the Ashal Guardians. With the help of this being Devon defeats Shezon, however, he escapes, vowing to finish the vendetta he held against Devon's deceased parents by killing him. The book closes with Devon setting off toward the capital city of Araeth itself, in order to warn them of the impending danger, and also to find a way to stop them once and for all.


I know this isn't a very good description, but I tried to keep it short, as such it is tremendously simplified and I actually left a lot out... But I don't want to bore you...
