Well, Seer suggested I write an intro for myself over here, so here goes...

Hi! I'm MichaeltheCelt. How's it going?

I'm presently a homeschooled high-schooler who's doing his level best to crank out just one little novel, although Saint Getruditron (my patron saint of novel writing) seems to be abstaining from offering me aid at the present time.

This site is lookin' pretty darn awesome, I must say. I had no idea this much interest in Christian fantasy even existed (although, I also didn't know how to pronounce 'placebo' correctly until a couple of years ago).

So yeah... greetings and salutations, and possibly even hello.

Ah, Seer is wise to advise you in this matter. ;) Do you know him IRL?

Welcome, Michael! We're delighted to have you - even more delighted now that you introduced yourself! ;) (We're very fond of welcome threads around here.) Please, take a cupcake, and make yourself at home!

If I might be so forward as to suggest it, I think we can help you break past the woes of writer's block and get that novel out on paper. :D

Welcome to HW Fantasy, Michael! This site is very good at breaking writer's block, especially the chat room. (though beware, because the chat room is also a good place for "wasting" time. :P )

Welcome, Sir Celt! We are so happy to have you!!! :D

So, can you tell us what your novel is about? Fantasy, I take it.

How much interest did you think there was, in Christian Fantasy?

What is your favorite fantasy creature?

Thanks for the welcome, everyone! And BushMaid, I'm a crazy person myself - it's great to meet some people like me!

Now, I don't remember who all asked questions, except for Airianna Valenshia, and to her I reply: Yes, it's fantasy. I think. If I don't change my mind about it for the fifteenth time. It's mostly the traditional group of adventurers, who are questing to find the Object of MacGuffin-ness. That's about all the idea i have so far :?

I didn't actually think there was all that much interest in CF at all - most of the denoms I've been affiliated with and the books I've read about Christianity seem to think that most if not all fantasy is the work of the Devil. I've always disagreed.

I think the dragon would be my favorite - the Asian kind. Those guys are awesome. The non-magical ones, anyway. Pretty much all dragons rock, though.

If anyone else asked me something, drop me a PM or something to remind me. I don't want to ignore anyone.

Thanks again for the warm welcome, folks!

*chuckles * Yeah, I've met up with that, myself. In fact, I've been told that my trilogy (without being read, mind you) was a work of the devil because it is Fantasy. *shrugs *

No way, Dragons are my favorite too. In fact, someone called me the dragon girl, in a positive light.... I think. ;)

Welcome to Holy Worlds, Sir Celt! {to borrow Airi's splendid nickname} I see you've definitely followed the smells to the right kitchen, to use a rather sketchy metaphor. Translation: looks like HW is a great fit! Good to have ya here!

Oh, and I believe you need extra helping of my usual bakery delights, so - *serves huge heaping cauldrons piled with pies, cakes, cookies, biscuits, muffins, cupcakes, chocolates, sugars, candies of every kind - all non-toxic and non-fattening and in fact quite healthy, but don't spread the word too far!*

Call me Estar or Dawn or whatever, and welcome once again!
