The Read-a-Thon is coming to Holy Worlds! If you're jumping on board, it's time to sign-up!

If you haven't heard about our joint summer reading program hosted with Incredibooks, please visit the official announcement to hear the story and read the lawfully binding rules.

To sign-up, just post on this thread yelling "I'm in!" or some variant thereof. To be eligible for prizes, you need to sign-up on this thread. Stowaways and late-comers will not be eligible to win prizes.

Sign-ups start today, June 1st. The program begins on June 13th. Late sign-ups will be accepted until June 30th. Sign-ups will not be accepted past June 30th.

Why is it so essential that you sign-up properly and on time? Two reasons. First, if you want to be included in the running for prizes, the official page counters need to put your name on a list so we can keep track of your page totals. No page totals, no prizes! Second, signing-up prevents someone from joining the game late and upsetting the fun.

So if you want to join, post here! Please remember that you can also sign up on Incredibooks and Holy Words Sci-Fi - but only sign up on one forum. Whichever forum you sign up on is the one you will report your totals on.

Please, to keep this thread uncluttered, take all chatter and questions to the announcement thread. Thanks!

Let's read!

A note to all of you! The number of prizes we have available is steadily and rapidly mounting... meaning the more people we get in this the better. So make sure to spread the word as much as is humanly possible. This is a great opportunity for HW to grow powerfully, as well as a great opportunity for author's and publishers to be supported and furthered in what they are doing. Great stuff is happening with this, so jump in! :D

I'm in, and shooting for the consolation prize because I average 30 pages in an hour. So, the low amount of pages you see me reading were read with the utmost effort and concentration ;)

I'm in, and shooting for the consolation prize because I average 30 pages in an hour. So, the low amount of pages you see me reading were read with the utmost effort and concentration ;)

I have never counted how many pages I read in an hour. :?

Well, I suppose I will sign up, since I can read any books I want to, instead of following a list. We will see how much reading I get done, since I'm in the middle of rewrites. If I do nothing, then I do nothing, but I have to sign up first, in order to do anything.

Sorry, rambling.

The Rainbow in the Storm- My Blog

Be careful of your thoughts; guard your mind, for your thoughts become words. Be guarded when you speak, for your words turn into action. Watch what you do, for your actions will become habits. Be wary of your habits, for they become your character. Pray over your character; strive to mold it to the image of Christ, because your character will shape your destiny.

Ideas can germinate from the smallest seeds. Collect those seeds, and let them grow in the back of your mind. You may be surprised by what finally blooms.

When God takes something from your grasp, he's not punishing you. Instead, He’s opening your hands to receive something better. The will of God will never take you where the Grace of God will not protect you.

Works in progress:

The Diegosian Mark, 115,600 words (Preparing for Publication)
The Diegosian Rider, 121,400 words (Finished)
The Diegosian Warrior, 15,000 (In Progress)

DY wishes to sign up, since he doesn't have an account, I'm posting on here for him. (I'll also be posting his totals on the reporting thread)
