My world's name is Osu and I have yet to come up with hardly any history for it, so first I will make a timeline. Nearly all of this is from scratch, so, here it goes!

The Age before:

El-Onu creates the Above and the Earth Below, to be known as Osu

He creates the angels to be his servants

Lucifer falls from above and becomes the Great Serpent and he takes many angels with him

The Former Age:

1: El-Onu brightens Osu with many animals and plant; throws sun, moon, and stars into the sky; He throws waters into the deeps; and last and greatest He creates man in His image. He creates a companion for man, out of man, called woman. He places them both on the continent of Anga. Along with them, he does the same for other races, the Aerwythe, the Gruekonn, and the Tallian. And the four peoples of the Osu rejoice and give glory to El-Onu, caring for the Earth He gave them. He then creates two types of intelligent beasts to serve them: the Gryphins and the Zarazan. It has been six days and now El-Onu rests and commands the peoples of Osu to do the same. He tells them not to leave the continent.

2: The Great Serpent comes to the Earth Osu and twists much.

6: The Great Serpent twists the two Zarazan and their children to his side and moves things in his favor. He uses the Zarazan to convince the people to rebel against El-Onu and they revolt, jumping into the waves in search of greater places and things. There is an earthquake and a great wave throws them back to shore. They realize what they have done and know that they cannot belong with El-Onu anymore. This is dubbed the Great Rebellion and El-Onu removes His presence from the land.

23: The Great Serpent sets up his own realm on the continent of Nonanga, throwing up mountains and taking refuge in them. He becomes known to the free races as Uhlrahk. The races form The Union of Free Races and the War of Chaos begins. (Of course, at this point it wasn't a very big war considering there were only two of each race and some young children)

25: The Free Races begin to build the City.

27: Uhlrahk turns animals into meat eaters, using them for his purposes and the Free Races respond by harboring animals.

30: The City is completed.

35: The Free People go into the mountains with their beast friends and cause Uhlrahk to flee far away.

36-141: The Peace Years, ship-building, farming, and other techniques are learned.

136: Uhlrahk returns to the mountains unknown to the Free People and creates the evil creatures called Garak.

141: Hostilities begin again with Uhlrahk's assault and Siege on the City.

142: The Free People break the siege and force Uhlrahk into the mountains, but are unable to root him out. The Battle of the Strait.

145: Uhlrahk emerges again and forces the Free Peoples out. The different races flee to different parts. The Tallian even flee to another continent.

145-345: The Hiding Years.

345: The Free Peoples unite again and attempt another forcing out of Uhlrahk. They fail and are defeated with great loss at the battle of Taruhl-Karath. The go into hiding yet again.

345-407: The Years of Mourning.

407: The Free Peoples rise up under Sargil, the Sephusta, and in the battle of Miroth-Sorud force Uhlrahk into the Northwest of Anga, to become known as the Devastation. They rejoice, but known danger is not yet over. They move in to to finish him.

408: Uhlrahk throws swamps around the area his force is situated on and broods long. He raises the great volcano Taril and creates his two great servants, Negraz and Soruhl.

408-424: The Free Peoples flourish for a time under the human Sargil, holding the forces of Uhlrahk at bay.

424: Soruhl draws Sargil into a trap with only a score of men. His men are quickly slaughtered. Sargil manages to strike down Soruhl, but dies under an onslaught of enemies. Soruhl escapes with his life, but just barely.

424-526: The Skirmishing Years. No great battles are fought, but many skirmishes with Uhlrahk steadily gaining ground.

526: The great battle of Harat-Tarmuth, Uhlrahk throws out many new, twisted creatures he has long prepared for this day, including the Kator; great, cat-like beasts that walk upright; and the Ninyatar, which are shades with great claws and and the ability to return to the place they were made after they are defeated. The Free Peoples are crushed and they scatter.

526-946: The Scarring.

530: The Scattering. The Free Peoples agree to scatter and each race goes its own way, but none leave the continent. A Meeting occurs at a predetermined place between the leaders of each race meet together every 25 years.

580: The races decide to send out ships to search for the Tallian and ask for aid.

583: 3 squads of 3 ships each are sent out, a ship for each race in each squad and each squad commanded by a different race. A ship of Aerwythe finds a harbor on a continent previously unknown; they name it Tellior, "Peace Land."

585: Two ships arrive at Talla and find the Tallian living peacefully. They fail to convince to Tallian at first. The Gruekoni from one of the ships storm the palace and threaten to kill the king. The manage to do it without killing anyone, but forever there remains a rift between Tallian and Gruekonn. The humans take no part in the assault, but make no move to stop it either. The Tallian send 200 ships with 15,000 troops. 30 ships are lost in a great storm at sea.

586: The ships arrive back at Anga with 12,000 Tallian troops. An attack upon Uhlrahk is made. They are victorious in several small battles, but are defeated in their first real battle. They realize the Tallian aid does not even approach Uhlrahk's power. They go back into hiding.

891: Yorut the Wise is born.

906: Marick the Strong is born.

915: Tobias the Swift is born. During his life, he does many deeds of valor.

946: Tobias leads the Free Peoples with Yorut's strategies with Marick on the front lines in the great Battle of Maron-Keleth. The Free Peoples gain a resounding victory, astonishing Uhlrahk. Uhlrahk flees back to Nonanga. The Free Peoples create a line at the isthmus of Anga and Nonanga.

947: Uhlrahk challenges Marick to a duel with his one of his captains. Marick is advised to refuse, but his pride runs deep and he accepts. He battles Soruhl and is killed. Tobias is watching and charges in as his friend falls, he strikes Soruhl through the heart with his sword from above, Reandil, and Soruhl falls dead. He is pounced on by many of Uhlrahk's minions what few peoples are there dive in as well. Tobias is the last of the Free Peoples standing and battles on for 4 days and nights, but collapses in the end from exhaustion. He falls dead, but unscathed. A mound of bodies surround him. The forces of Uhlrahk attempt to use the momentum to reconquer Anga, but Yorut holds back the tide with his troops.

974: Yorut dies, but the line is still held. The people rally to the cry, "For Marick, Tobias, and Yorut!"

974-1142: The Kingdom Years.

979: The Kingdoms of Tobaith, Yortun, and Marrail are founded. Tobaith is in charge of the isthmus of Anga and Nonanga.

1142: Uhlrahk breaks his prison of Nonanga and charges through the Free Peoples with his hordes. There is no time to send for help and the Free Peoples are nearly destroyed. They are pressed into the Central Mountains and held there. Uhlrahk sends out forces on ships to combat Free Peoples on other continents.

1143: Michael the Archangel comes with the hosts of Above behind him, Uhlrahk is punished and sent to Below, no longer able to return to Osu. The remnants of the Free Peoples rejoice and disperse among the continents. Here ends the Former Age.

Okay, I'll stop for now because I've probably bored you and that took a long time to come up with.

I suppose there could be, but I highly doubt any ever would. They have been to long under the influence of Uhlrahk and a twisted and evil. It is now in-born.

Oooh, Yay! My races have fans. (jumps up and down while clapping!) :dieshappy:

I like the way you formatted this. :D

Why did El-Onu send Michael the Archangel to intervene when he did? Do you have a particular logic for that, or are you leaving it unexplained, as acts of God sometimes are?

Yes, he was sent by El-Onu. He sent him because the Free Peoples were basically crushed and defeated. There had been some squabbling between nations, so union was not good, while the whole time Uhlrahk was just growing in power. It got to that point and he burst the dam, breaking through their lines and rushing through the three nations. It was so sudden that he crushed all three within a month and was building ships to wipe them from the other continents. That was when El-Onu intervened for his people.

I found it very interesting that the begin was similar to earth's beginning.

How many angels are left?

I like that you did a rebellion instead of the eating of the fruit. It gives it a much different aspect. :D

I figured God knew how to form a world a whole lot better than me, so I used what He already gave us. :D

I don't really have a number for the angels, but the Great Serpent took about a third, perhaps slightly more.

Thanks!
