I'm Addilatra or Kassie. I love fantasy writing and I've been working on my fantasy book for about three years now! C. S. Lewis is my favorite fantasy author and one who inspires me! Now, I have no idea where to start or how to get started. I would love some help with that!

Well, the name Addilatra is actually from my story! I have to say my favorite at the moment, by C. S. Lewis, is "Prince Caspian"! I've learned so much from it... I found my way from The Rebelution.com.

I have to say my favorite part of my fantasy story...is the main character! Also the country itself... Carakastin! But I also like the Cave Village, and Forest Hall. I could go on...

Phila--Yes, you can! I do, it's a story based in the 1700s. Oh and I'm thinking about putting a poetry book together and another book based off the things I've learned in "Prince Caspian". So many ideas... so little time! Thanks, everyone, for the warm welcome... *takes a bow*

Prince Caspian? That's certainly a good one. I think I prefer The Magician's Nephew, probably, though it's definitely a close call!

All of these ideas sound wonderful! You must post more about your story around the forum, yes? And, if you pursue either your poetry book or the PC idea, you must keep us updated on those, too! We'd love to help you if you need any assistance working out your ideas, as well. So ask/post away!

The "things learned from PC" sounds like a very interesting and informative project - something I'd be interested in reading. Have you considered making it a series of blog posts, or do you have enough thoughts to fill a book? What about a short ebook?

Have you seen the new(ish) PC movie by Disney/Walden? I love it! I can't remember the book very well, though.

A Lewis fan! I am a rather big Lewis fan, though, the older I get, the more I am a fan of the man, more so than the author.
