Me: I don't have slaves or slavers in my current story, but the next one (or one a little farther on) will have. The one with Dominic and Patton, particularly.

Aaron: Interesting. *shudders* I can identify. That's funny. We seem to have some eerie similarities. Though the scars on my face are more horizontal.

Me: Aaron seems to be known for his inability to speak in complete sentences.

*Aaron glares*

Azura - (Eyes Arctax warily) Yes, veeerrry eerie.

Thysal - Maybe you guys are a popular character type?

Arctax - (sarcastically) Thanks a lot. We aren't that similar.

Azura - Really?

Me - The spooky part is that you and Aaron were both developed before Eruwaedhiel and I met.

Arctax - (shrugs) Not a big deal. Or is it?

Silvergold - Cool :D

Raug: Seems that some people ain't to happy with me.

Griffin: I wonder why?

Matt: Oh! I know! :D Because he's a slaver! :D :D :D

Raug: The little boy should get a prize.

Me: Enough, Raug.

Tesra: :?

Phillip: Interesting sapient species, dark elves are.

Griffin: Uh, yeah...

Matt: :D Yep! :) :D Hey...

Griffin: Oh, no...

Raug starts to sneak off

Phillip: Oh, boy...

Raug tries to grab at Azura, but is suddenly picked up into the air
and throw twenty feet

Raug: oooowwwww.....

Griffin: Good, boy, Charcoal.

A large creature, about the size of a horse, with wings lands next to Griffin. It is all black, except for its piercing blue eyes and greyish peak.

Griffin: Everybody, meet Charcoal. He is the only black Gryphin in the world.

Me: Oh boy, this could get nasty with the Gryphin. Uh, bye!

Matt: Oh, wait! :D :D  :) :)  :D Okay, now were good.

Arctax - (hackles settle down and sheathes his claws) Nice save, Charcoal. Really impressive throw!

Silvergold - (gives Raug a pitying look) Although what he would have done with Azura after he caught her is beyond me. She's still a snow leopard.

Azura - (bares her claws) That's ok. Come on and get me, if you think you're human enough, Slaver!

Me - Settle down everybody!

Jade - (Examines the Gryfin) Beautiful coloring, I don't think I've ever seen a griffin/gryphon/gryfin type creature your size before. So, where'd you find your human?

Charcoal, I think I like you :) Thanks you very much for handling that slaver.

Can I join in?

Cory: Should you decide to bring everyone in, I don't think you should.

Ignore him! Anyway. Here's a few of my characters. First, there's Cory, he's 18. Then there's Lorielle, she's 17-

Cory: Can't we- [gets shoved aside impatiently]

Then there's Tesmir, he's 19. But he acts younger than he really is. He's got eight older brothers. And finally Seymour, he's half elf. One of my favorites.

Seymour: [Lifts eyebrow]

Lorielle: Who all's here? This place is new. What is it? I've never been here before. Cory, is this place somewhere in Piensor?

Cory: No.

Lorielle: Where is it?

Cory: Someplace you call the internet.

Tesmir: You need to loosen up.

He's just nervous. ;)

Cory: I am not!!!

Azura - Welcome, my friends!  Glad to see you.
Arctax - Seymour, I'm sure you'll feel at home here; the majority of characters are elves.
Silvergold - Hi there!
Azura - She's our resident wolf, she also acts immature.
Silvergold - Do not!  I'm just myself.  Beat that!
Arctax - She's immature.
Thysal - Anyway, feel free to join in our conversations!  We aren't really discussing anything important.  I don't think.
Arctax - Who was the one who couldn't speak in full sentences, again?

Me: Thank you. ^^

Lorielle: Hi! [Green eyes sparkle with excitement]

Cory: For future reference, she's very, very energetic when she comes to a new world.

Seymour: Thank you. [Glances at other three]

Tesmir: [Shifts uncomfortably] I don't like that look....

Lorielle: What look? I think you're all just nervous! This place is cool! Seymour, they have other elves here! You can make loads of friends! Cory, you too, maybe you'll find someone-

Me: Breathe.

Lorielle: [Inhales] -who's your age! So you won't have to always hang around me. So you can get to know other guys!

Cory: I... I'd rather-

Tesmir: Ah go on, the lass is right. I'll keep an eye on her-

[Lorielle goes running off]

Seymour: Good luck. That child won't stop until she collapses in exhaustion.

Tesmir: No she won't, she'll keep on going. I suspect she's a relative of that pink battery rabbit. Lorielle! Slow down! Goodness, lass, if you go on like that you're going to startle someone and get yourself shot! [Runs after Lorielle frantically]

Me: How many are elves? I know Lady Eruwaedhiel's Aaron is, I'm not sure about anyone else.

Cory: No, really? We've only just- [Falls silent at a glare from me]

Me: Hey, just because I finished your story doesn't mean I can't kill you off!

Cory: You wouldn't, anyway. You're never able to kill off your characters, unless they're bad guys.

Me: Oh, I- [grumbles] Fine...

Seymour: [Chuckles]

Me: [Glares]

Seymour: Don't take it the wrong way. I suppose it's a good thing, not having the heart to kill off characters.

Me: Because I like them so much I can't kill 'em!

Cory: [Rubs faint scars on right arm] And yet, you have no problem putting us through near-death experiences.

Me: You're all out against me. This the first time you've been introduced to others, and THIS is how you thank me?!

Seymour: Calm down, lass. We are grateful. It gives us a chance to improve. And you, also. [Winces as he hears Tesmir shout a warning to Lorielle] Some more than others.

Me: Welcome to you and your friends, Zoey. I'd let my characters say hello, but they're all in a talkative mood and there's too many of them. And as to your question about the Elves, there's four that I allow to visit here. I don't remember for sure how many others there are.

Me: Thank you. And thanks for the answer. Hope to meet your characters soon!

Seymour: [Nod] I as well. I haven't had much interaction with elves.

Cory: Yeah, why is that?

Seymour: ...Because I am half elf. And in addition, I spent five years of my life in prison.

Cory: Forgot about that....

Seymour: [Nods] I gathered.

Rhavaniel: I'm a Dark Elf and a servant so I don't interact with other Elves much either.

Rhovanion: Same here. Except I'm not a servant.... I've spent most of my life in training, unfortunately. I left the "army" as soon as I got a chance. I don't really like fighting just because someone tells me to. Yes, if I have a reason to fight I will, but other than that I've got better things to do.

Me: May I ask what?

Rhovanion: Um.... no, because I don't know what those things are, at the moment. I'm traveling at the moment, and then--

Me: Don't give away plot details that aren't even final yet.

Rhovanion: I know you, this will be final. You love this kind of stuff.

Me: You've got me there. It probably will be in the story. If I ever finish writing the ending...

Rhovanion: Even if you don't edit it, you'd better finish the story.

Me: Oh yeah?

Rhovanion: Yup.

Thysal - It seems that no matter what type or race, everyone gets along well in here. Seymour, you'll do well fitting in with either elves or humans. Maybe even these insane snow leopards. (eyes Arctax and Azura)

Arctax - (Ignores the dragon) All of you other characters have better self control as far as plot giveaways. Sometimes I just can't help myself.

Silvergold - You're supposed to be one of the more silent and steady characters in the story! You shouldn't blurt things out.

Azura - Steady, maybe. Silent, no!

Arctax - (snorts) Whatever.

Azura - (smiles sweetly at everyone else) He's in a bad mood.

Silvergold - (Hides her laughter by coughing, then changes the subject when Arctax glares at her) Oh, Tesmar, your Lorielle friend reminds me of our tigress friend Jade. She's also energetic, especially when exploring.

Thysal - Tell me about it.

Seymour: [Smiles] I'll do my best to be agreeable. But in our story, I spent most of my time with overly energetic young folks like these three. [Nods to Cory, Lorielle, and Tesmir]

Cory: I am not 'overly energetic'. You want overly energetic? Give our maiden here two or three good nights of sleep, have her down two bottles of flower's blood, then set her off on a horse to rescue someone, and then you have overly energetic.

Seymour: [Laughs]

Tesmir: [Smiles] That about sums Lorielle up. She's prone to being inquisitive when she's someplace new.

Seymour: [Looks at Rhavaniel and Rhovanion] What are Dark Elves? I don't think there are any Piensor.

Cory: [Snorts] And if there are, someone has yet to fill us in on it.

Me: [Glares] Why don't you just be yourself? You're so much nicer then.

Cory: I am myself, silly.

Me: Oh, Silvergold, Tesmir's name is pronounced Tess-meer.

Arionwyn: Wow! so many new people!

Aaron: Yeah. New people to annoy.

Aroinwyn: That hurt. *sulks*

Aaron:

Arionwyn: Anyway, welcome, everyone! Iri also happens to be an elf...*wary glance in his direction*

Me: Don't worry, Iri is still pouting because I won't let him cross post margins to plot with Zanraz.

Iri: Hey! *frown*

Me: Although I might mention that he's more dangerous when he's pouting than any other time. ;)

Iri: That's more like it. *returns to his own thoughts*

Arionwyn: Would I be classified as 'overly energetic'? *questioning look at Aaron*

Aaron: I suppose I'm supposed to answer that...I'm not sure she won't kill me if I tell the truth, however.

*Chayten chuckles*

Chayten: I'll watch your back.

Aaron: You and your dragon.

*Smoky growles*

Aaron: Okay, that might have been a little too bold.

Iri: You've seen what happens when you offend dragons.

Aaron: Yeah. Blaze nearly died. Thanks for reminding me.

Me: Here we go again with the incomplete sentences...

Me: I suppose it's good to be energetic sometimes. The energy's gotta go somewhere. ;)

Lorielle: [Looks at Smoky, wide-eyed] Aw, cool, a dragon! Tesmir, look at him!

Tesmir: Aye, I see him, lass. He looks strong.

Seymour: [Nods to Arionwyn] Thank you for your welcome. [Turns his light brown, green-tinted eyes to Lorielle] Lass, don't touch the fine creature until you have permission.

Cory: [Looks nervous]

Lorielle: May I? [Looks questioningly at Smoky]

Me: I think you guys need to get out more... Maybe I should bring in Tilmere, he could get you all scattered quick enough-

Tesmir: NO!!! Don't do that! He doesn't even know I'm here! You know what happened when he caught up with us.

Me: [Laughs] Just a thought.

Rhovanion: Originally, the Dark Elves were like the others, but we liked to work with fire and darkness and such. The others believed in using plants and such, and thought we were evil. That was a couple thousand years ago. The king drove the "rebellious" Elves to the heart of the forest, where after a few hundred years our skin turned a very dark grey --black, in some of us-- and whatever caused it was passed onto the children, so now all of the Dark Elves have that color of skin.

Rhavaniel: We did discover what caused to darker skin color. There must be something in the forest, because after a year of staying with us, the younger prince of the Elves came to look like one of us. His hair color is the same, so you can tell he wasn't born here, but because of his mental state he was susceptible to the malice that permeates the very air. That's why it didn't take hundreds of years for his skin to change --he knew of the evil and accepted it. When the Dark Elves first came here, we didn't know of it, and hated evil anyway, so it took longer. However, the people grew more bitter, and their skin grew darker.

Rhovanion: After leaving the Shadow Kingdom, I look more like the other Elves now.

Me: I have yet to figure out how all this works, but there you go.

Wow, you all have so many cool and funny characters! I haven't gotten through them all, but I am working on it. Some of my characters wanted to introduce themselves and join in the fun. Since they all failed to specify, I will have to tell you their species. Scarbee is a Hare, Mussorgsky and Prof. Funderwall (who I am named after) are men, and Mindy is a mouse and currently the only female character I have. So here they are, the Wokky Group!

Mussorgsky: Welcome! I am Mussorgsky the tailor. I am here to introduce you to what is known as the Wokky Group.

Scarbee: Silly name if ya ask me!

Mussorgsky: Well, I didn't ask you....Where was I? Oh, yes! Yesterday, I was taking my morning constitutional and--

Mindy: You're getting off subject!

Mussorgsky: Am I? I thought I was talking about seagulls

Mindy: What? You were just intro--

Prof. Funderwall: No, no. He was conversing on the subject of dung beetles.

Scarbee: You're all a bunch of ninnies if ya ask me!

Mussorgsky, Mindy, Prof. Funderwall: Well, we didn't ask you!

Scarbee: Stop! I'm going to take over from here! Now, then. I am General Scarbee, the leader of the Wikky Group.

Mindy: It's Wokky Group, and you are the self-acclaimed leader.

Scarbee: I beg your pardon! I was voted in!

Mindy: [muttering] Certainly not by me.

Scarbee: You speak when spoken to, Missy! Now, then. I am General Scarbee, the lead--

Prof. Funderwall: I believe you mentioned that part before. May I ask when you will introduce me?

Scarbee: Don't tell me what I did! And no! You may not ask any questions!

Mindy: Get on with it!

Mussorgsky: I say, why isn't the sky purple?

Scarbee: Muss, will you do me the kindness and concentrate?

Mussorgsky: Sorry.

Scarbee: Forgiven. Now, then. You already met Me and Muss. Next, we have Miss Mindy.

Mindy: That would be me! I'm the only fighter of the group. Strange yes, but you probably already realize we are all a bit odd.

Mussorgsky: I prefer pot roast.

Scarbee: Ignore him. Lastly, we have Professor Funderwall.

Prof. Funderwall: I think it has something to do with science.

Scarbee: Excuse me?

Prof. Funderwall: Oh, I was simply answering Mussorgsky's question about why the sky isn't purple.

Scarbee: I am sure Muss appreciates that, but could you please tell the chaps about yourself. This is going a little long.

Prof. Funderwall: My apologies. I am Professor Funderwall and I love studying plants. I have a pet cat named Percy that sits on my shoulder like a parrot.

Mussorgsky: Perhaps, Polly would like a cracker?

Scarbee: Please, stop making pointless interjections...why isn't the sky purple?

Mussorgsky: I haven't the foggiest.

Mindy: Are we done?

Scarbee: Oh, yes. We are finished. How do we, uh, end this...thing?

Prof. Funderwall: I believe the proper way of parting is to express the common phrase “good-bye”.

Scarbee: Now, then. Altogether...

Scarbee, Mussorgsky, Mindy, Prof. Funderwall: Good-bye!

Mussorgsky: But we have not yet said why the sky isn't purple...

Thysal - Wow!  Lots of newcomers!  (bends down and sniffs Lorielle) I can actually sense the energy in this one.

Silvergold - Cool it, IceBreath.  Most people don't appreciate reptiles sniffing them.

Arctax - I can relate.  (to Prof. Funderwall)  Hmm.  You're friends are . . . Interesting.  Very interesting.

Azura - (elbows him) Don't listen to him.  It's great meeting you!  Newcomers are always welcome!  Definitely makes conversation more entertaining!  :)

Silvergold - (eyes widen)  Is that a hare?!

Thysal - Don't even think about it, wolf! (puts a claw on Silvergold's tail).

Silvergold - (Huffs) I wasn't going to . .

Me - That's enough.  Funderwall (the author), have you ever read any of the Redwall series?

Arctax - What does that have to do with anything?

Zanraz - Nothing. (examines the page margins)  Unfortunately, you've tightened security.

Arctax - That's pretty much my job.  Especially when Princess Azura is around.

Zanraz - (growls) Your loyalty and honor disgust me.(Arctax places his paw on his sword)

Azura - Please, don't start again.  (Arctax shrugs and Zanraz growls, but doesn't say anything)

Thysal - (Looks down at Mindy)  So, what kind of weapon do you use,
warrior?

Me - Alright, enough chatter, all of you.  I think we should get back to writing.

Azura - (Cocks an eyebrow at Ciela)  It's about time.  You haven't been at it in a while.

Arctax - Great, then lets go!

Me - You wouldn't be so eager if you knew what was in store for you . . .

Arctax - Not again . . .

Mindy: [to Thysal] I use a sword!

Scarbee: [whispers to Thysal] Actually, she uses a blinkin' threading needle.

Mindy: I heard that! It's a sword, and I chop the ear off anyone who says elsewise.

Prof. Funderwall: I believe the phrase is "otherwise", and do be kind, Mindy. These are friends, not enemies.

Me: What's going on?

Scarbee: We are trying to hold a friendly conversation with these nice chaps of Ciela's who just greeted us.

Me: Behave yourselves now. [To Ciela] You can address me as "Tim", and yes, I have read the Redwall series. They are an influence to most of my writings.

Mussorgsky: Maybe it's because purple was already taken by plums, and blue was leftover.

Mindy: Not this sky thing again!

Me: Okay, everyone! Back to the idea room! I still don't have a solid plot to fit y'all in.

Me - I figured that you were a Redwall reader when I met Scarbee (I love hares) :D . Redwall was actually my inspiration as well concerning the talking animals. I don't think I have any human-type characters.

Arctax - Notice the word think.

Azura - She needs to pull her thoughts together.

Me - Hey, no one asked you two!

Arctax - That's why we had to imput.

Me - *sigh*

Thysal - (Examines Scarbee) What happened to your ears? This one reminds me of a large rabbit or a shrunken deer.

Everyone else - THYSAL!

Thysal - What did I do?

Silvergold - (shakes her head) Aye yi yi. You're hopeless.

Thysal - Honestly, I think I now understand Smoky's feelings when his human annoys him.

Zanraz - (growls) You all grate on my nerves.

Arctax - (draws his sword) That won't be the only thing grating on you; how about frozen steel?

Me - Time to go, before someone gets hurt!

Seymour: Interesting. So the air is what changes your color?

Lorielle: What energy? [Looks questioningly at Cory]

Cory: The energy you continually seem to have. What makes you so lively, I guess.

Lorielle: Oh. And, Thysal can sense it?

Tesmir: A very keen sense of smell. I can barely manage listening for Seymour.

Cory: Because he's half elf. Besides, last time you tried opposing his hearing you almost got your throat slit.

Lorielle: I remember that!

Cory: Aye, I should think you do.

Tesmir: [Grumbles] You don't need to bring it up...

Lorielle: Oh, more new people, and animals, too! [Looks at Mindy] So, you're... you're kind of like that mouse in Narnia? Reepi- Reepa-

Me: Reepicheep.

Lorielle: Yeah, what she said.

Seymour: I have to admit, this place does collect quite a variety of creatures. It's a pleasure to meet you all [Nods to all new characters]

Arctax - (to Seymour) Yes, I agree, there is quite a strange distribution of creatures. I personally admire anyone who can stand us for a long time.

Thysal - (to Lorielle) Yes I can sense energy, it's an ability of mine. Somewhat. Although in some people the activity is very obvious.

Silvergold - Especially people who can stand the dragon.

Azura -

Scarbee (to Thysal): Shrunken deer indeed! I am not a rabbit, I am a hare! My ears are just the way they should be you overgrown lizard!

Me: Scarbee! That wasn't very nice!

Mussorgsky: Lorielle reminds me of shampoo.

Mindy: Stop it! I like Lorie. She has good taste.

Scarbee: You just say that because she paid you a compliment.

Mindy: That is not true!

Prof. Funderwall: I believe we should desist before one of us says something we will later regret. We must attempt to be on our best behavior.

Tesmir: [Snorts] Shampoo?

Cory: [Digs elbows into Tesmir's ribs]

Lorielle: Huh?

Seymour: The professor's words should go for you both, also. [Looks at Cory and Tesmir]

Tesmir: What? I said nothing!

Cory: Anyone ever tell you you're immature?

Lorielle: He is not.

Tesmir: Aye, I've had Tilmere, Rune, and the twins tell me so, thank you very much. Oh, and possibly Rousen, but he might've been scolding Tounon. [Bows to Lorielle] Thank you for the defense, lass.

Cory: Your brothers give you a hard time.

Tesmir: Tell me about it! It's bad enough I'm the youngest out of eight.

Lorielle: [Looks back at Mindy] I like you, too. Any talking animal is cool.

Seymour: Does it seem to change one's personality, also?

Tesmir: You thinkin' about changing on us?

Seymour: No. But I suppose it wouldn't do you much harm.

Tesmir: That's cold, Seymour, that's cold. What do I do to deserve this kind of treatment from you people?

Cory: [Laughs] Relax, Tesmir, we're just playin'. You're not all that bad. You're a great guy.

Lorielle: Yeah. You managed to catch that buck by the antlers, remember?

Tesmir: [Shrugs] The second time, yes.

Seymour: Lighten up, lad, we mean no offense.

Rhovanion: Well, I wouldn't say our personalities really change too much. Some are more evil than "normal" Elves, but they wouldn't change their ways if their skin changed.

Sellion: And I haven't changed since living on the edge of the Shadow Kingdom, within the heart of the forest. At least not that I've noticed...

Seymour: Interesting.

Cory: Is it like those dark, winged things?

Me: Those haven't even been in a story yet.

Cory: Whatever.

Seymour: No. Those have always had dark skin, they've always lived in the darker parts, and they have no relation to Elves at all, despite their Elf-like ears.

Lorielle: But, don't half-elves live in darker parts of the forest?

Me: You all are flying out stuff that hasn't even been in a story.

Tesmir: Aye, but you've written it down.

Seymour: ...Aye. But Luvarians are not like the race Cory mentions.

Cory: Goodness, I should hope not.

Lorielle: Why'd Seymour call them Luvarians?

Seymour: Because that is what I am-

Tesmir: Psh! I don't want to hear that rubbish! You may be a half-elf, Seymour, but you are not poor-blooded.

Seymour: Do you think I like the name? We did not choose it ourselves.

Me: I am also a fan of the Redwall series.

Matt: Yeah, me to! :D :D :)  :D

Griffin: Uh, Matt. You can't read.

Matt: Oh, right. :D :D

Phillip: And besides that, they don't exist in Anrica. (my country)

Tesra: Unfortunately, there aren't many books anywhere in Anrica.

Phillip: Except the library of Kaus.

Griffin: Yeah, but the Pers b...

Me: Shshshshsh!!!!! No giving away plot lines!

Griffin: Sorry.

Raug: (snickers)

Charcaol: rraaaeeeeeeettt!!

Raug: Whoa, nice Gryphin...(under his breath) with that creature here, I can't do a thing. And for their information, I do have my ways in capturing prizes, such as talking snow leopards.

Matt: It's nice to meet all the new characters! :D :D

Griffin: Hmmm...a talking hare. I wonder, how many hairs does a hare have?

Tesra: It is so nice to meet a gallant warrior such as yourself Mindy.

Raug: Kinda short, ain't she?

Griffin: A warrior's worth is not measured by his stature, but by his courage.

Tesra: Or her!

Griffin: What?

Tesra: You said him! Mindy is a her!

Griffin: Sorry. My goodness...

Me: Oh, boy, here they go again, we had better leave.

Lorielle: Are there books in Piensor? I haven't seen any.

Tesmir: Lass, you spent most of your time in a tiny village and out of doors where many people would have to be crazy to go.

Lorielle: [Crosses arms over chest] And your point is?

Tesmir: That of course you haven't seen any. I haven't either, but I think Rune and Kedmir have.

Cory: As far as I know, there are books. But they're usually only found in big palaces, or in expensives shops. I know Darias had loads.

Seymour: But his were of dark magic.

Cory: True. But some were interesting reads.

Lorielle: What kind of characters are yours, Griffin?

Seymour: [Smiles faintly]

Me: It's fine. Uh, Griffin you had better go somewhere else for a sec.

Griffin: Fine. (Griffin walks off a little)

Me: Okay, Matt, Phillip, and Raug are all humans. Tesra...

Tesra: I'm Aerwythe.

Me: Yeah, and Griffin is Kundinoua, but he doesn't know it. You can find out about the Aerwythe and Kundinoua in the Peoples, Races, and Tribes section.

Griffin: Can I come back now!!!!!!!!

Matt: Yep!!!! :D :D :D :D   :) :D

Arionwyn: *breathless* Okay, we're back. Took a while to go through the whole post, but I got it. You okay, Aaron? I mean -- Naryn?

Aaron: Wyn, that's my old name. Don't call me that. And just because I got stabbed recently doesn't mean you have to ask if I'm okay every time we go somewhere.

Arionwyn: Sorry, but I like your old name. I seem to have an attraction to elvish names.

Aaron: I wonder why.

Me: I needed a reason why Aaron and his sister Kelly (I'll bring her in a minute) got human names as opposed to my other elvish names (Iri, Fairivel, Clarian, Earis, Ianyr, etc) so I made them change their names when they became (Dragon) Riders. They were originally Naryn and Kelia. Cool, huh?

*Aaron blushes*
*Kelly peeks in*

Kelly: Can I come in now?

Me: Go ahead.

*Kelly enters, with a nearly iridescent purple dragon in tow. Kelly has a long black braid and brown eyes like her brother, but seems to radiate energy and life. She's obviously an extrovert. :D *

Kelly: Hey, everybody!! Oooh, smilies! :D :D

*Aaron rolls his eyes*

Aaron: Not another Matt.

*Arionwyn gives Kelly a bear hug*

Arionwyn: Good to see ya here!! Let me introduce you -- that handsome snow leopard is Arctax, and with him is Azura, and over there Iri is trying to get to the golden leopard Zanraz across the post margins.

*Iri touches the edges of the post and gets shocked. Kelly giggles*

Iri: Just exploring my possibilities. *dusts himself off and tries again*

Arionwyn: *clears her throat* ahem, and that beautiful dragon over there is Thysal. You might get along well with Matt, er, Smiley-man.

Kelly: so many new people!! :o

Aaron: Need we go through this again?

Silvergold - Hi, Kelly!  Great to meet you.  (eyes Aaron)  Wow, I never saw an elf blush before.

(Arctax reads the former post and blushes, Azura snickers)

Azura - Ohhh, I like the elvish names.  Naryn and Kelia.

Thysal - Naryn is a warriors name.  (preens slightly)  Thank you for the compliment.  Kelly, what is your dragon named?  I've never seen a purple one before.

Arctax - I know how you feel about the injuries, Aaron.  Believe me.

Azura - (shudders slightly)  That was a well setup ambush.

Zanraz - Thank you, I thought so myself.  Pity I didn't catch you, but I guess Arctax is good enough.

Silvergold - Except you didn't keep him.

Me - HUSH!  Don't say anything!

Arctax - (eyes Ciela)  I'm beyond caring right now.

Me - *sigh*

Matt: Finally! Another person that's into smilies! :D :D :D   :) :D

Griffin: Just what we needed...

Tesra: Be nice! I'm sure it is quite a pleasure to meet you Kelly.

Matt: And another dragon... :D :D :D :) :)  :D

Me: Really Matt, don't you think you might be overdoing it on the smilies.

Matt: Nope! :D  :) :D

Raug: I wonder how I could catch a dragon...

Me: You can't get across the post margin, remember.

Raug: I ain't givin up if that Iri fellow ain't.

Phillip: (sigh) Will you never understand how the molecular structure of this bio-mechanical machine's cells will not allow marginal teleportation outside of the user's bidding? It is really quite fascinating.

Griffin: Uh...right.

Raug: What is he talkin about?

Matt: I think he was saying hi to Kelly.

Me: No, it was something about moving from one place to another.

Raug: (touches the boundary and gets shocked, his hair stands straight up) Whoa, that was like lightnin.

Griffin: (snicker)

Matt: :D :) :) :D To bad there's no laughing smilie. :D :D   :D

I love this thread. This is so hilariously funny.

My favorite characters so far have to be Aaron and --well, his sister or whoever she is. (didn't catch that) I can't spell her name and I can't see the previous post from here. :)

Now, the question is, do I have characters to introduce here?

Lorielle: [Looks up at Aaron, concerned] Oh, you're hurt? Where?

Cory: Don't fight her...

Tesmir: [Smiles]

Me: Seriously, I love all the Elven names. It's really cool.

Cory: You only manage to come up with Japanese sounding ones.

Me: I'm getting better! I thought up Aeryo, didn't I?

Cory: True. That's kind of Elven.

Me: It IS Elven. :?

Tesmir: [Smiles at Kelly] It's nice to have you here. Those two [Nods at Lorielle and Cory] are Lorielle and Cory. Seymur's off to bring a friend over here, and he's half-Elf.

Me: And he's Tesmir, youngest of seven brothers, and acts younger than he really is.

Tesmir: [Glares viciously]

Me: I'm with Melody! Aaron's gotta be one of my favorites.

Cory: Maybe because you like the name?

Me: That too! But still. ;)

Seymour: I'm back.

Reine: [Follows behind nervously]

Tesmir: That's Seymour and Reine. Reine is a Kiane, you can read about him in the Creatures... place.

Me: Good one. :)

Okay, I ::will:: play. I haven't got any fantasy characters who are original right now...but I know a couple fanfic characters pretty well. :)

Me: Mae govennan, Feanoro.

Feanoro: Why hast thou brought me away from my search?

Me: Hang on, we aren't here for those rocks.

::Feanoro splutters and turns very red::

Maedhros: Father, the girl means no harm, she is merely...

Me: totally in the 21st century AD in the Fourth Age. ;)

Feanoro: Human younglings know not to value beauty of the subcreation.

Maedhros: Ditto.

::someone clears their throat very loudly::

Maedhros: I mean, I agree completely with thee, Father.

Me: I only have a minute, guys, I don't have time to get into a philosophical debate.

Me: Wait, did you say 'younglings', Feanoro? Sorry, wrong story!

Feanoro: My deepest apologies, I was merely remembering one Anakin Skywalker who had a tragic end similar to the one I have been threatened with.

Me: This is why movies should not be allowed in Middle-earth. Those elves remember ::everything::!

::Feanoro ignores my comment::

Feanoro: Human children also know not the worth of treasuring words as gems.

Me: I do agree there. Linguistics are so fun!

::Feanoro and Maedhros attempt to understand the modern terminology::

Me: I think I have some characters from the year 2500 that need my attention. I'll come back later. :) I'll make Feanoro and Maedhros be more sociable then too.

Feanoro: Sociable? What in Middle-earth do you mean? I have no wish to associate with Dark Elves, the cowards.

Me: ::blush:: Pardon; Feanoro can be quite a handful sometimes. He means no harm. He simply has not gotten to know ya'll yet.

Me: I can tell Aaron is trying not to be offended by that comment. It's not working very well. Iri called him a coward at one point and he's never gotten over it.

Arionwyn: Did you happen to be talking about me,Melody, in the earlier post? I am not his sister. *glare*

*Aaron snickers, then sighs and dismisses Feanoro's comment with an effort and completely ignores him*

Aaron: If you really must know, Lorielle, Iri buried his knife in the back of my right shoulder.

Iri: I thought it was a nice throw, myself.

*Kelly glares*

Kelly: Oh, well, anyway, Thysal, this is Violet. Full name is Violetspike.

*Violet dips her head*

Violet:So good to meet all of you. Sorry about my Rider's seemingly all-consuming obsession with smilies.

Kelly: Hey!!

Aaron: What is it with all the compliments all of a sudden? Phillip, if no one else understood you, take comfort in the fact that I know what you mean. ;) Contrary to what others may think *clears his throat* I am fairly technically minded. Arionwyn hasn't even learned to make links yet. I tried to teach her...

Arionwyn: I'd rather learn more fighting skills, since you seem to think I'm horribly lacking. *glare*

Aaron: You are.

Me: Sorry, Feanoro has a quick temper and even quicker tongue. If you remember -

Feanoro: He was trying to usurp my place in the family.

Maedhros: He was not! Uncle would never -

Feanoro: Watch your tongue, boy.

Maedhros: Cousin saved my life. I can't let you tell everyone that his father --

Me: Enough, please! We didn't come here to argue!

Maedhros: My apologies.

::beat::

Me: Feanoro?

::beat::

Me: Anyway, yes, Arionwyn, that was you. :) Aaron, so sorry about that. I also apologize that you will not be getting an apology out of Feanoro. He's just like that.

Me: So much for those twenty-sixth century characters. This is tons more fun.

Feanoro: If Aaron wants an apology, he had better be more skilled than me.

::sword slides out of sheath::

::I dive between him and the post line::

Me: You don't want to look like you're on the same side as Iri, do you?

Me: (to general audience) That should keep him quiet for a while.

Maedhros: Father sends his apologies, he had large demonic beings to slay.

Me: Oh, great, I can't let him do that yet!!!

Maedhros: What aren't you telling me?

Me: It's that strange author-thing. You are not only what you have been but what you will be. You have all your memories. You do not, however, know your end. Same for your father. You also have certain memories...um...blurred? Or rather, they are inaccessible in most situations so you do not give - spoilers.

Maedhros: Oh.

::silence as Maedhros searches his memory for something::

::his face changes, remembering a painful moment, but he pushes it away::

Maedhros: Moving on, I wanted to know, what's up with all these italics? And why are dragons not thrown out of this assembly altogether?

Me: I'm not really sure who is what kind of creature. (I'm also sticking to characters which I can spell their names. ;)) I think they don't belong in Middle-earth at all, Maedhros.

Just wanted to let ya'll know that due to the realism of your characters, I have been officially inspired to put more work into mine 'cause I can't talk to them like you can to yours - I cheated with Maedhros and Feanoro because they already came alive to me through the Histories of Middle-earth and the Sil. before I imagined their fanfics - but I want to get my characters to that point. :)

Aaron: *takes a deep breath* Listen, Feaonro...

Me: Aaron, be nice.

Aaron: *grits his teeth* It's purely a matter of coloring. I have nothing do to with your so-called "Dark Elves". I would love to have it out with you, but apparently we aren't allowed. We live in totally different worlds, and I hope it stays that way!

*stunned silence*

*Kelly raises an eyebrow*

Aaron: *narrows his eyes* I'm going for a walk.

*more stunned silence*

Kelly: Wow. Don't. Offend. Aaron. Ever. I should be insulted...but I just...it's not worth getting worked up over. I wish he would cool down.

Arionwyn: He needs some time. *sigh* Honestly, sometimes...

Me: Just a note between authors: Melody, I know that's just the way Feanoro is, but I thought I'd have some fun. It's not every day I have a chance to get Aaron worked up. *sadistic grin* :D

Chayten: Maedhros, it is probably foolish to bring up the topic of expelling dragons when most of the characters my author has introduced are Dragonriders. They are among the most powerful of created creatures in our world, and are almost a race in and of themselves. Again with the different worlds issue.

Me: Melody, glad we've inspired you. For me, they just kind of popped up and demanded that I write about them. :D

Arctax - Aaron, relax. Maybe in his world, there are evil Dark Elves. Probably you can override his general opinion. If not, just hope you don't have evil relatives. Not all lighter elves are good, either (eyes Iri)

(Azura glances around and lowers her ears, crouching slightly)

Azura - I'm feeling slightly out of place again . . .

Arctax - Relax. Maybe it's an elf nobility thing.

Silvergold - I'm having no issue fitting in. Hey there, Feanoro and Maedhros! Nice to meet you.

Thysal - (eyeing the wolf) Maybe you can settle down the more wayward ones in this thread.

Silvergold - Hey, that was uncalled for.

Thysal - (ignores her) Violetspike, it's nice to meet you. I'm honestly always thrilled when another dragon appears.

Azura - Dragons fit in anywhere.

Arctax - I told you to relax, didn't I?

Azura - Hey, if someone has issues against Dark Elves, how might they feel about felines?

Arctax - (rolls his eyes) Huh boy. You're making a big deal out of nothing.

Zanraz - (sniffs the barrier cautiously) Hmm. If only I could get out, I could round up the other crimelords and we could probably take over this whole forum.

Arctax - (eyes him with disgust) Please tell me you have something better to do.

Zanraz - Please mind your own business, Scarstripe.

Arctax - (Fur bristles) That better not be an insult, Spotface!

Thysal - And that was?

Me: (ROFL) Aaron, that was good.

Feanoro: (silence)

Me: He tried the edge of the forum margin.

Maedhros: Father will be all right, he's just...

Me: I'll say it, I can, because I'm the writer. Sulking off in a corner and plotting some kind of revenge on Aaron - without touching that margin, of course.

Maedhros: Chayten [author-note, can't remember if Chayten is human or dragon or what...], one of my authors - the girl - said she read four pages of Eragon and didn't like their dragonriders. I think I will merely ride horses and the occasional eagle.

Me: yup, Eragon and I apparently do not mix. I have a hard enough time getting over the fact that Star Wars could be so cool w/o the newagey stuff... the fact that within four pages, Eragon reeked of SW--eh, that could be a headache. (pardon to anyone who likes Eragon!)

Maedhros: I have not had any encounters with felines to my immediate recollection.

Me: Mine either. But I am on my way to beddy-bye, so I could be forgetting an incident.

Maedhros: So therefore, I may be amiable to cultivating friendship with thee and thy kind, noble cats.

Arctax - Thank you, elf. I'm interested to hear more about your world, it sounds like somewhere I've read about before.

Thysal - (sniffs distainfully) I personally have a thing against Eragon. My author was told by someone that Eragon's dragon could beat me any time, day or night. Personally, I don't think so.

Silvergold - Maybe you could talk the other dragon's ears off. That'd be a sure win.

Thysal - *snort* Canines.

Azura - (watching Feanoro) Is the question of honor that important? Or do you just need something to do. I've honestly never seen Aaron so miffed.

Jade - There is a first time for everything, I'm told.

Zanraz - (creeping around the margins) I forgot whose idea it was to charge this thing with electricity. Whoever it was will be so dead when I get out.

Azura - If you can get out, which I doubt.

Zanraz - (snarls) I don't need an opinion from a spoiled palace cat, alright? If I want an opinion, I'll ask for it.

Arctax - That's not gonna happen.

Me - Everyone, calm down. Zanraz, you are more trouble then you're worth, did you know that?
(Zanraz growls under his breath but says nothing)
Me - This is a great thread, partly because I get to know my characters more thoroughly then I did beforehand. Also wonderful to meet friends and their projects.

Arctax - I resent that term.

Me - So? In a sense, it's true.

Arctax - I don't need to know this.

Me - Another fun point is messing with these guys.

Arctax -

Lorielle: Oh-

Seymour: Lass, don't annoy the young man.

Lorielle: Was I annoying him? [Looks worried] Oh, I hope I wasn't, I was only trying to be helpful...

Cory: Wow, how many dragons do we have around here?

Lorielle: Cory so needs a dragon!

Cory: Cory so does not need a dragon.

Me: It's a good idea. I've got one drawn and ready to go-

Cory: No! No dragons, please! I have nothing against them of course. [Glances at dragons present] I just don't think I need one. I like to keep low profile.

Me: You're just shy. You've always been that way since i created you, 'specially in the story that's not fantasy.

Cory: [Clears throat] How does the fence-thing work? The one Iri and Zanraz talk about?

Me: I'm gonna guess it's to keep them out of trouble. I which I will put any of you should you be immature.

Tesmir: Why do I feel as if that was directed to me?

Me: Or Darias.

Cory: NO! Don't you dare bring in here! He will influence Iri and Zanraz to the point where NO ONE can stand them! We killed him once, I don't want to do it again!

Me: Anything else?

Seymour: It's nice to meet you both, Feanoro and Maedhros. My young friends here are Lorielle, Cory, and Tesmir.

Rune: What in the world is going here?!?!?!

Tesmir: Oh no!

Me: Um, that's Tesmir's older brother Rune. He's second oldest of all eight.

Me: Essence is hard.

Maedhros: ::shrug::

Me: You're an elf, you don't understand! Let's change the topic.

Feanoro: Certainly. Let us discuss taking the power out of those margin borders.

Me: Watch out for the - ::sigh::

::By sheer willpower, Feanoro pulls his sword off the margin line::

Me: (thinking it's not nice to be smug, but can't help being happy to be far away from Feanoro's sword) You can't draw sword on a writer. We're outside the lines. Being fictional has its own pros and cons.

::silence::

Me: Okay, Feanoro probably won't be talking for a while, he's quite angry with me.

Eran: Greetings! I have a moment off from working in the garden of Caiaphas to meet.

Me: Eran is my character for Easter: A Twitter Reenactment. Not fantasy, so don't mind him if he gets jumpy at -

Eran: Dragons!

Me: Yeah.

Eran: Dragons are a sign of great evil! 'Ware!

Me: They're caged; it's okay.

Eran: Where's Malchus?

Me: Getting that load of bricks you ordered.

Eran: Oh yeah...I ought to get to it. I do like my cousin, but he mgiht get in trouble with that Judas around, teaching him his treacherous ways.

Feanoro: A traitor? Let me at him!

Me: Sorry, history is unchangeable.

Maedhros: Cory, the edges of the posts are electrified slightly to prevent us from crossing and getting into each other's worlds. Some highly respected elves might duel if they could ::looks at Feanoro and Aaron:: and some various villains might plot against all that is good together if they could cross the barrier ::looks at Iri, Zanzras, and various villains who I have lost the identity of::

Me: Thanks, Maedhros for that explanation and for changing the subject.

:)
