Haha! Me and my sisters do that all the time! (Of course, we speak in numerous accents, as the mood calls for.)

You know you're a crazy fantasy writer when:
-You mix and mash names and discover that it sounds really cool, "and I should remember it and use it in a book".
-You wonder why no one else can pronounce your names.
-You think people who don't write must have a dull life.
-You would rather spend a whole day in your own world than go shopping.

-You are absolutely thrilled when you meet someone else who writes!
-You have hundreds of ideas floating around in your head that you wish you could write down at once.

You wish you were a robot so you could write with both hands at once.
You think having two different colored pens for notes is really cool. (One for spelling errors and one for plot notes. )
You want a third color pen so you could have conversations with yourself in the notes and tell which side was which.
You're the only person IRL you know who can put 'nice' and 'complicated' in the same sentence.

You spend your sick day making up diseases and epidemics and trying to properly categorize them based on modern medicine. (My new disease is neurological just so you know)

You listen to all these posts and instead of thinking the people are crazy, (which, of course, they are) it sparks ideas.

-When you don't feel like writing (which is rarely ever), you spend your time coming up with totally cool plot twists, attempting to draw an accurate picture of your character, or making a book trailer... for a book you haven't even started writing.

- When you get so excited about your books while talking to your mom you let an important detail slip and say "Oh, no. Now I'm going to have to brainwash you." Good thing my mom doesn't have a good memory.

~ you spend an afternoon researching knives, weapons of mass destruction, and methods of killing perfectly fine characters. And then you realize what you've been doing.

When you don't think having kids would be that hard because of all the joy and heartache you know from writing your beloved book.

When you are feeling lazy you try to use telekinesis just to make sure you won't be wasting your time if you get up.

Guilty! And then you're disappointed when it doesn't work.

Yup! It's aggravating too, sometimes. It makes you want to start writing several books at once.

When you can act like a valley girl, a British noble, a gangster, a hyper innocent kid and a dozen other people and never be accused of not being yourself.

When you find yourself stopping in the most bizarre places (Kitchen, bathroom, laundry, garage) to count on your fingers to see if something would make a six word story.

When one of the first things you think about when you get up is, "I wonder what will happen in the chat today! "

Or, "How many more posts will there be for 'You know you're a crazy fantasy writer when . . ' "

And always, "I can't wait to get on HW, no matter how distracting it may be! I'll finish writing sometime. . . . The chat is calling!!!!! "

Guilty! Only I live in the country, so it was just one specific incident where I was in a gym with twenty people and they all stopped to watch me swordfight with something invisible... my director admired my footwork though, so I didn't mind too much.

...whenever you have a sword in your hands you can't help imagining yourself a character with mortal enemies.
