It's not exactly adopted people, I guess. *isn't a very good explainer* Just, if you have ideas for who should be siblings to who, then that's what I meant. Sorry for the confusion!

Is this just a guessing thing, stick your name anywhere, or is everyone who has been "adopted" been adopted somewhere on the forums or chat?

I believe everyone on the list (assuming it is correct) has been 'officially' adopted. Except in the case of siblings like Hilly and I - we're stuck with each other whether we like it or not

Yes! Please don't add any names unless you are officially POSITIVE that they have been adopted or adopted someone. I want an accurate chart!

EDIT: Oh yes, and don't count Adopted siblings' adopted siblings. If we did that then everybody would be related to everybody.

Not to crash the party, but I want to be sure we don't just start having sibling adoption go crazy like the copyrighted nicknames did. The sibling adoptions should be meaningful. Don't just adopt people because you want to be on the list. Make sure it is special. Every one of the people who I adopted (or adopted me) were for a very special reason. Those people mean different things to me for different reasons.

Well, I can only remember officially adopting Reiyen and being adopted by Villie... So I've got a few surprises on that chart!

It says I'm related to Airianna but Airianna isn't related to me. I don't remember being related to Airianna but if she doesn't mind I don't mind. :)
(then again it could have completely slipped my mind :? )

I adopt very few people, and accept few adoptions. Even when I treat someone as if they are adopted they are often not officially adopted.

Maybe I should make a few more of them official though. Haha.

@Sir Emeth: Same here: I have only three siblings (adopted) and a few unofficially.

I don't think anyone adopting anyone changes how everyone is treated, it's just fun to do.

To be truthful, I'd like to just adopt everyone here. We are actually all siblings through Christ, so it doesn't matter if we adopt others or not, we are all still related.

Ah I see. Well I do treat adopted people differently, actually. In some ways, not in others.

Who has Emeth adopted? Ironically, I find it funny to think of him adopting people. I didn't even know he did that.

Three people officially... though there are at least four others that I treat as if I have adopted them officially.

BUT THAT'S HALF THE FUN! So after Tilly and I became twins, we realized that since we were twins, surely her sisters were my sisters. . . so I became related to whichever of the Kondraels she was related too. . . and then we realized that since the Kondraels were all siblings, you couldn't be the sib of one without being the sib of all of them. I had fun when Dieki came on that day. But. . . I'm not sure what type of chart we'd need for that.

Now, I don't understand this chart AT ALL. Are people in rows all related? Are people in columns all related? Are people at the top of a column only related to everyone beneath them and rows don't mean anything? Because if rows mean anything, Airi has adopted herself, and I'm somehow related to Emeth. But if. . . nevermind. Would someone please post a "Dummies Guide to the HW Diblings Chart"? I'll give them guaranteed-to-bribe snickerdoodles!

Well, if I'm reading this correctly (and I'm not saying that I am...) the columns each represent a person and the persons under the columns are the people said person is related to. Rows don't signify anything. Of course, I could be wrong, but that's just how I have been reading it...because it might be complicated if rows did mean something...

Alright, I think I understand the chart now, but I'd still like that I guide. I see Cat has taken advantage of the fact I treat her like a sib even if I haven't made it official (like Emeth was saying. . .).

I'm going through and replacing nicknames with full usernames. Not everyone knows that WisiROID, Kath, Mousie, and KathrineROID are the same people, for example. We had a number of folks going by a number of names in the chart. I figured true username is better than the even most common nickname since everyone can understand the true username. Smack me upside the head if I'm out of line here.

Oh, and I don't even know what some of these nicknames stand for. If someone else would help, that would be great.

Supermegafoxyawesome Tilly (along with me, myself, and I) made everything match-up. It is all consistent.

However, Airi reportedly has over 10 siblings.

PLEASE remember that you are only someone's sibling if y'all have agreed MUTUALLY. Being a sibling is more than being good friends. This is not a light thing. I suggest - and this is a suggestion, a mod can come in and say, "Bad idea!" - that you look at your column, and if there is anyone on it who you have not declared an official sibling and don't feel comfortable being a sibling with, remove their name from your column and your name from their column. Fill in both gaps by pulling the name at the bottom of both columns up to the gap.

I'm still related to Airianna but she isn't related to me. If she was fine with that I'd add my name to her list but I don't think I've gotten a definite answer yet...
