It depends on what sort of tent you're staying in, in my humble opinion. :D I really dislike Nylon tents. I used to camp in them, but after we got into rendezvousing, I rejoiced at how dry they stay inside! No sloppy, dew-y ceilings to hit with your head! The only bugger about canvas, is if you have to take it down when it's wet. Then it weighs a lot more than when it's dry. :shock:

Well we just had the worst storm I have ever been in besides a hurricane in Florida. There was a twister on the other side of the lake and we all evacuated to a large building to get out of the wind, rain, and hail. But it blew over and everything is fine now.
(The storm happened midnight by the way.)

So, Joe, did you find it awesome, or awful?
(Funny how those two words have opposite meanings now, when they used to be synonyms.)

I think those sort of experiences are thrilling, exhilarating, and terrifying at the same time. :D It's a lot cooler in hindsight than when you are praying for your safety. ^^;;

Glad you guys are okay!

Well after 2 more tornado warnings we finally packed up and are back home again. It was fun when it wasn't raining but it didn't rain on only 2 days.
