This thread doesn't exist yet!

Quote:
I screamed. We all did. We couldn’t stop ourselves. We crouched on the ground, holding each other, sobbing as though our tears could make the world end. He had loved us more than we loved him. The look in his eyes when he saw me looked past the dirt and grime, past prison and past my crimes and he saw my soul. For that look I would have gladly died a thousand times.

Don Fransisco wrote:
Suddenly the air was filled
With a strange and sweet perfume
Light that came from everywhere
Drove the shadows from the room
And Jesus stood before me
With his arms held open wide
And I fell down on my knees
And I just clung to Him and cried

Then He raised me to my feet
And as I looked into His eyes
The love was shining out from Him
Like sunlight from the skies
Guilt in my confusion
Dissappeared in sweet release
And every fear I'd ever had
Just melted into peace

He's alive! He's alive!
He's alive and I'm forgiven
Heaven's gates are open wide!

Floyd was frozen where he stood. He struggled to breathe, but the air smelled of blood and death and guilt. He tried to formulate a name, to ask, but language was meaningless, and words would not come. He tried to scream but the sound got stuck in his heart, shattered into a million pieces, and scattered to the wind.

In a world without superheroes, who will stand against the forces of evil?

You have blue skin with orange polka dots. Four eyes, one red, one yellow, one green, and one blue. You have four arms, two are furry and two are scaly. One ear is a floppy dog's ear and the other is a pointy dog's ear. Your hair is a mess of tentacles. You have the body of a centaur, with four wings and two tails (both with feathers on the end). Two wings are pink. The other two are green and black, respectively. You have a row of sharp spines going down your back (very sharp). You also hiccup rainbow bubbles... ~Vili

If you don't mind listening to rap I think God by KJ-52 and Rebecca St. James adequately characterizes the mood for the day. :D Happy Easter (almost said birthday) everyone!

I'm from the future, in a time zone where Easter is already "over" - but that's not quite true. There's this thing about Christianity, something that every other religion lacks: Jesus Christ is risen, has conquered our sin and death, FOR ALL TIME!!!!!!

He is Risen!

*He is Risen Indeed*

I love that song by Don Francesco! :D

Happy Easter, everyone! He is risen indeed!
"But Earth herself-if we can figuratively speak of "her"-remembers mostly in red."

...

"They" (her children, AKA people) "were too many, too rough, too brief, too lost, and she would just as soon cast them into oblivion.

Until that one birth."

...

"Her haggard head lifted, gazing, blinking, trembling at His every step.

Until he climbed that hill.

Oh! She thought blood could not longer move her, but His...! She churned in protest, stormed in helpless rage. A fresh wound ripped her heart, bleeding tears; the fragile peace shattered, the edgy truce undone. I am undone! she cried: undone... undone... Sinking down, limp arms sprawling, she recieved Him back. Tha hollow tomb ached like a bad tooth but she resigned herself to sleep forever-never, never, to breathe such hope again. And never to remember.

But-to her surprise-she can't hold Him! Her dead lord is not done-eager footsteps shake her slumber, pounding up a well-worn path in an unworn way: in the opposite direction. He has defied her-blissfully, forcefully, in no uncertain terms-and in His rising..."
