Me: You mean, Davien won? He managed to slip his sword right between Terminus's armor? Yay Davien! I knew you could do it!

Me: As a matter of factually, he wasn't wearing armor, except for the Luze, but he got distracted and...yeah, okay, Davien just won.

Emuna: You didn't think that through?

Me: What?! I needed to figure out how Terminus reacted when defeated!

Emuna: *sigh* You're going to regenerate him aren't you?

Me: Yup, authors are indeed cheaters.

Davien: *sinks back to his knees, his arm still pulled tightly against his chest*

Me: Okay, I need someone to come set Davien's arm again. And then I'm getting him out of here before Terminus tries to do anything more.
Davien, are you okay?

Davien: *touches arm gingerly* I'm fine, but...my arm isn't.

Me: Here's a pillow. Lie down for a little while, try to stay still.

Emuna: Umm...I forget...am I currently tied up fighting anyone?

Me: No...but Brian is busy fighting Mordir and the snake (whose name leaves me) and Gavin is cowering in a corner...

Gavin: Am not! *stands up* *sees nearby fight* *sits back down*

Emuna: *shrugs* Guess that leaves me to help Davien...

Me: Yup... *wiki's what to do with a broken arm* You're going to need medical supplies...

Emuna: *rolls eyes* Or... *grabs stick and some cloth* I could do what people do when improvising.

Emuna: *straightens Davien's arm and makes a makeshift splint with the sticks and cloth*

Davien: *grunts when Emuna wiggles the bone* Thank you, Miss (ow!) Emuna.

Me: Yes...It wouldn't be very useful to use a bent stick...she might as well just leave the arm to heal itself.

*winces* That would hurt...

Merashath: *turns around with surprising reflexes before Ember even touches him. He folds his wings in behind his back and coughs out a ball of fire*

Me: Ok, Elanhil isn't really doing anything, so he's going. Tounon, you can continue your duel with him later in 'so you think you can beat him?'. That leaves Trina, Merashath, Cuoash, and Rinifer. I'll bring in one more: Rodash. As you can guess, he's from the same area as Cuoash, slightly north of where Rinifer and Elanhil are from.

Rodash: *A tall, young man with black hair and a sword strapped to his side strides in*

Rodash: Hey, I didn't know! But right now I'd like to know where I am.

Trina: You'll be gone from here soon enough. Thysal, attack him!

Otmuh: *A hooded figure walks into the room. His cloak is black with an ugly sword tied onto the outside*

Rinifer: *looks at Otmuh* Kill him! He is of the Southern Black armies!

Otmuh: *draws his sword*

Me: Okay, Davien, you exacted your revenge, settled your score, beat a villain against all odds---Let's get you out of here.

Davien: *nods* All right. I'll go. Farewell, Sir Brian, Miss Emuna, and...Sir Gavin. *waves his left hand and walks out of thread*

Me: Good. He's safe. But I'm going to stick around; I want to see what Terminus does.

Me: What Terminu-ohhh....right...*regenrates Terminus*

Emuna: And here I was hoping you'd forgotten...

Terminus: YOU DIDN'T LET ME WIN!!!!

Me: Hey! I was NOT the one fighting!

Terminus: *glares* I don't take loosing well...is there a character I can beat up?

Me: Umm...

Emuna: *hides behind Gavin*

Emuna: BECAUSE BRIAN IS BUSY! Now shush!

Terminus: *scoffs* Cowards...

I don't think I'll call Faolan. He's not protective enough, and his skills are pretty rusty...
And I'm too scared to fight you myself. Plus that would not be a fair fight.
So I'll just be quiet now.

Mordir: And now, I'm returning the favor. [Jumps to avoid Brian's sweep, but jumps on top of Brian. Tosses aside his sword and flicks out a dagger and thrusts]

Me: Oi, the lunatic is gonna get himself killed!

Seymour: [Springs forward]

Zurik: [Does the same, but in a different direction]

Aris: [Steps back a respectful distance when Thysal approaches]

Chayn: [Shakes her head and snorts in amusement] I didn't say I didn't think you were ungrateful, little one. Have you all recovered? [Swishes her tail slightly, resting it by her front feet, like a cat.]

Me: I think Tynx still is.

Cassie: [Smiles, obviously pleased.] OK! I'm ready to try again! [Puts her hands on her knees, tightens her neck, turns her upper body and ducks and slips out] Like that?

Tynx: Wait, what? [Falls back when Cuoash pulls, then rolls to the side so he doesn't land on top of her] Wow! That was awesome! Can we do it again?

Me: [Slams head into a tree] He looks like a mature adult, but he's still the energetic fox.

Tesmir: Yeah, I can see where that would look odd.

Seymnour: Careful.

Tynx: [Winces] Hold, it's my turn to save your life. [Scoots out from under Cuoash and fires a large ball of light up and over the ice dome at Merashath]

Me: I'm sort of in the same boat, Trina. A lot of people think my younger brother is older than me.

Tounon: Because he's taller than you.

Me: ...So?

Aelynn: Hello, new characters!

Zurik: Mordir, another-

Brian: *falls down when tackled by Mordir (heehee, almost called him Merashath there. )* yeah? I don't think this favor needs to be returned. *narrowly dodges Mordir's dagger* *elbows Mordir in the chest*

Tynx: Where?! [Rolls out from under the ice dome, looking around for both the shadow and his sword] Of all places to lose the sword!

Me: True. How was he disrespectful?

Seymour: Careful where you tread. You don't want to land Elanhil with sorting out a squabble between those two.

Me: Too violent? Psh, I don't think he's getting to violent at all.

Gavin: Which is the scary thing...

Brian: *blue armor covers his forehead just long enough to protect him from the blow, then goes away* *kicks Mordir in the knee, grabbing at the dagger at the same time* Well, that's good to know. I'll be sure to call you next time I need someone assassinated.

Emuna: Brian!

Brian: What was I supposed to say?!

Emuna: *sighs*

Thysal - (Glances back at Trina) Heheh, no. If Rodash attacks you or Jay, I'll annihilate him, but until then, he can stay over there, and I'll be over here. (Curls up) Aris, if you could care for Jay . . .

Ember - (Lands in front of Merashath, unblinking as the fire hits him) Thanks Guilo. Really, Merashath, is that the best you can do? (Launches himself at Merashath's head, snapping at his spine)

Me - He's bored.

Thysal - Not if he messes with Merashath no. Ember, lay off, that villain is my nemesis, not yours.

Chayn: [Smiles and flexes her claws] Come, then, little ones. Show me what you can do.

Rowen: [Lands briefly next to Chayn. Scoops his tail under Shawn and more or less places her on Chayn's back] Now she is! A bit lop-sided, maybe. But she's on!

Chayn: [Nudges her brother] Thank you.

Rowen: [Glances at the villain trio before taking off]

Mordir: [Snarls and whips around, grabbing Alexis's wrists and twisting it backward] Bad idea, little girl.

Me: I seem to have misplaced Zurik and Mark. Excuse me while I go make sure they're not strangling each other.

Tounon: Wait, you're leaving us with HIM!? [Points to Mordir]

Me: Ah, you'll live, he's too busy killing everyone else. [Walks off]

Tounon: Wait a minute! [Looks panicked]

Brian: *grimaces* That...could have broken a few ribs. *knees Mordir in the stomach, grabs his wrist and holds it in a strong pressure point, twists his arm tightly whilst a sword is drawn in his opposite hand* Don't. Touch. Her.

Me: *head/desk*

Brian: *thrusts sword at Mordir's shoulder, twisting his arm tighter*

Me: Yes...well...I don't know if that's possible, but let's just say Brian has extremely great coordination skills.

Emuna: *watches breathlessly*

Me: Yeah, you can't help, because, currently, you're being held captive at...a place.

Emuna: In the book not in CI!

Me: Same thing...

Skylar: *tries to edge close without being noticed*

Alexis: Ai!!!!! *clenches teeth* Not. Little. *kicks Mordir hard in the shins*

Ashrai - (chuckles from the shadows) See, there you go, letting your emotion cloud your judgement, Mordir. If I wasn't so amused, you'd be dead right now.

Niarah - He's so annoyingly smug . . .

Sumira - Why do you comment on everything he says?

Niarah - (shrugs awkwardly)

Me - This is great development for these guys.


I had to laugh at that statement. It's good to be the author, no?

Mordir: [Winces as Brian knees him, then nearly cries out in pain at the pressure on his wrist. Brings his other arm around with the dagger, blade first, at Brian's head] I've had just about enough of you. [Strikes Alexis's knee with his foot] If you don't wish me to insult you, then I suggest you stay out of this!

Me: [Is repeatedly slamming head into a tree before Seymour pulls me away]

Seymour: No need to knock yourself out.

Chayn: Show yourself as a threat. Make the dragon know you mean to harm him. Be brutal enough to capture his complete attention.

Me: I'm completely making this up as I go. So if I'm wrong on anything, feel free to object.

Aris: [Pauses to give Jay a break, then continues] You held your own pretty well back there.

Mordir: [To Ashrai] So what if I am? It's not your business.

Aris: He's just trying to help.

Mordir: If he wants to help, then he can help by fighting these two!

Seymour: I think it's best to let him be. He's rather worked up right now.

Me: He does seem a bit passionate, doesn't he?

Cassie: OK! [Repeats her actions, but twists her upper body in the other direction, she wriggles a bit, but manages to slip down and out]

Brian: *uses sword to twist dagger out of Mordir's hand* *slices at Mordir's neck while applying more pressure on his wrist* I could say the same for you.

Terminus: What do you know...the coward actually has some fighting skills.

Me: You should be the one to talk...

Terminus: I let him win!

Me: I'm sure you did...

Alexis: *knee buckles under Mordir's kick* *opens her mouth to insult Mordir back*
Me: *glares*
Alexis: *decides not to* *uses her other arm to punch Mordir in the face*

Mordir: [Bites his lower lip in pain, he leans backward to avoid the sword and yanks his hand back, hoping to free himself from Brian's grip] You both are a nuisance. [Snarls when Alexis punches him, and twists her arm further back]

Suragore: [Roars and slams his tail down right behind Alexis]

Me: [Shaking head]

Aelynn: [Walks over to Amos] Hello.

Cassie: [Tries again, this time she slips out without wriggling] That's cool!

Brian: *sighs* Very well...just...don't...get yourself killed. Okay?

Alexis: If Devon or Skylar got killed, they wouldn't be regenerated.
