This thread is for introducing your main characters, (Heroes, Allies, Mentors, Loves and Villains.)

So far I only have two characters for whatever fantasy story I'll end up writing here. For a quick description; Silas is 29, 5'9 and has dark brown hair and green eyes. Tyra is 19, 5'4 and has dirty blond hair and brown eyes. I'll let them introduce themselves. :)

Silas: Greetings. My name is Sir. Silas Richardson. I am a knight of...

Tyra: Of nothing.

Silas: *frowns* And this is Tyra O'Dale, a bard.

Tyra: I prefer Tale Spinner, or better yet, Sage.

Silas: You are hardly a Sage.

Tyra: And you are hardly a knight, but I pay you a compliment.

Silas: Tyra, if you are not careful, your tongue will win you some very unpleasant things.

Tyra: *smiles* Why thank you brave knight for your words of wisdom, but I shall leave my tongue the way it is.

Silas: *shakes head* Forgive her. Her words are faster than her head.

Tyra: *glares*

Me: Okay, I think they have a pretty good idea of what you both are like.

Tyra: Umph.

Me: I have pictures of them, as soon as I can, I'll post them. :)

Okay.. so I'm going to just enter my Hero for the moment, as this tale is still in fairly early stages of development. His name is Drake Va'an, he is part human, and par Zraven, a elven-ish race (olive skin, dark hair, and burning green eldritch eyes). He is 16, and an extremely skilled thief, and a proficient knife fighter.

Drake: Greetings to you. I, *ahem*, am a thief.

Me: I'm going to do a sketch of him when I have time.

See the attached picture of Drake.

Drake: Don't I look spiffy?

Nikon: So full of yourself.

Me: Cool!

Tyra: *rolleyes* Spiffy? Not the word I would have chosen.

Silas: That is just your opinion.

Tyra: *shrug* Umph.

Drake: Than what word would you use? Grand? Majestic?

Nikon: *buffets*

Drake: What?

*Laughs*

Laura, I have a character like Tyra! She is sooooo much fun to work with too! Her name is Piper and has been developing her personality for about four years now  so, you can just imagine how wild she's gotten! That's for another time though...

I will introduce two of my MANY characters in this thread...

Liagiba:Ahem! Silence, if you please or don't please. I'm here and I expect your respect!
Eiram: Lia, you do nay have to be so demanding.
Liagiba: Shut your mouth, Eiram. I'm introducing myself. As I was saying, I am Liagiba, Queen of Wildenlaw. I was Queen of Leor...but to make a long story short, my brother married Princess Jesiveve of Starenwald and kicked me out. That made me queen of Wildenlaw.
Eiram: And...
Liagiba: And what? Do you have to keep interrupting me?
Eiram: Only when you do nay tell my involvement in the story.
Eiram turns red and Liagiba tosses her hair.
Liagiba: Announce it yourself, then, King Eiram.
Eiram: Well...I'm King Eiram of Dalbrae and Kitsik...and...uh...
Liagiba: Well? Let's have it?
Eiram: I'm engaged to Liagiba.
Eiram and Liagiba both turn bright red.
Liagiba: Aye, and that's about it, then.

Oh, that looks so fun! Great job, y'all!

Can I make up some characters just for the fun of it? Is that allowed? :) Or do I have to have a story to go with them?

Hmmm.... no, you have to have a story, too. :D Just kidding. Go ahead. Maybe they will beg and nag you to death until you write them into a more tangible existence with a story. ;)

Kimun is kind of mad at me right now for dropping his story... but if I went to do his, then Austor, Tantis, Theilor, and all the rest of them would be mad. What to do... what to do... :D

I will try to write my own characters into threads here sometime... in one of those elusive mists of the future where I have all the time in the world... "Tomorrow is the busiest day of the year..."

I chose to introduce the characters I was working at the time...but now I left out my other favorites! Erynne...and Nat...and Aiyezlani...Tyrian...Linetta...Nitelirk...Aharhel...Okay, I better stop before I sound like Jay! :)

Haha. They might do just that. It's funny, once you get started with a character, it almost seems like they just take over and say things on their own. (I started making two characters. They were rather bad... kept interrupting each other and sort of arguing. And saying weird things. I don't know what got into them. :) )

Oh, and we (siblings (mainly Josiah and Cheryl) and I) are working on a story!!

Great! Keep it up, then. Character-driven fiction is good fiction. The only thing that annoys me is when my characters forget to let me in on how they got where they pop up...

Argh! I hate that! This guy named Maxym came into my story, and he's really cool, but I have absolutely no place for him and he doesn't fit into the plot. Talk about frustrating.

Um, it's a good thing we are all writers, because if a non-writer with a poor imagination came on here... they would think we are all "wrong in the upper story".

Oh yeah. We're homeschoolers. So we don't really care. But still. :)

Hmmm...I guess what we've been saying would seem weird to a normal person, but...we are all writers! It does sound weird for me to say he appeared, but, hey, I'm a homeschooled writer. How much weirder does it get?

The emoticons don't have a rolling-on-the-floor-with-laughter symbol, but that's about what I was doing. I was reading through the posts and thinking the same thing when I came to yours and I just burst out laughing. Mostly because you're right. I didn't really find anything strange about the posts but, as you said, we're writers and homeschoolers (dangerous combination). :D

I love it when that happens! You get to put whole new plots into the story!

Just a few weeks ago I had a day dream that was an echo of a really strange night-dream that I had had. In it, a strange prince walked up to a boat that I was in from off of a strange continent. He demanded on behalf of his people that I create him! Oblivion is rather boring, I guess. Turns out that he was from a continent that I had not previously known existed. It is called Geirrion. I spent a week exploring it, studying it, and developing it. I am not done yet, but I hope that prince is happy. :)

Wow, we do sound messed up.

Makzym frustrated me, though, because the plot was perfect before! But now that he's here, he's too cool to change. And I have absolutely no place for him.

How about a Christian homeschooled fantasy writer? :) (which is, of course, what you actually are.)

Wow. I've had characters pop up before, but they've never demanded that I make create them. Actually, they're not really that polite. Once they show up, I don't get a choice about their existence. Wow. He sounds like quite a character. Have you put him in your story?

Not yet. I am gradually formulating his nation and his continent. It is all rather rough hewn right now. It is a really interesting place. It has answered a few questions, such as: why did the armies of Tskarnor cross over the deathly desert of Ecroi to invade Minor when they could have gone over Aschu, which was relatively friendly territory? Simple: there was a continent in their way! Haha. Sooner or later, though, I expect to meet the prince somewhere in Geirrion... I hope that he will be happy. ;)

Well done, Jay. I love how you (also) talk like your characters are real people. I do that all the time: "Lia's frustrating me today." "Why won't Cotia ever shut up?" "Tyrian needs to get over himself".

Oh yes. Mine argue with me all the time, especially when they find out that I'm planning to kill one of them off.

lol. See THAT I can handle. I'm so used to killing characters they don't usually TRY to talk me out of it anymore.:D *sigh* of course THEN they leave my mind, and I have a really hard time writing for them anymore. (unless I can get them to stop sulking and come back)

Kimensul hates that he dies, but he never does really die, so he doesn't mind. He never stops coming back for revenge.

Beduuin doesn't mind dying, since it works out best that way, and he goes to heaven anyways.

Keiri is the only one that got mad at me for killing her... that I remember. I kill a lot of people.

Addie was thrilled that she got to die because that meant that she was the glorious heroine.

Fyrstar is excited to die because she's dying for others and saves Nytstar and comes back to life anyways.

Okay, my characters and I have prepared an introductory speech for them. There are nine, so this might be a little long. Here goes.
Me: Forest, you can start anytime.

Forest: Oh, right. Sorry. (clears throat) Uh, can I start again? I just didn't get the cue and--

Me: Alright already! MycharactersandIhavepreparedanintroductoryspeechforthem.Therearenine,sothismightbealittlelong. Go!

Forest: Right, uh. Hello, my name is Forest. I am an elvish adventuress and the Spirit Keeper of the Spirit of the Forest. (whispered) How's that?

Me: Fine, fine. Ayanna?

Ayanna: My name is Ayanna, and I, too, am an elf, although not an adventuress. That would be Forest, who can't seem--

Me: That's NOT what you're supposed to say!

Ayanna: Oh, right. I deal with herbs and history--I do love history--and I've been Forest's...you're joking, right? You don't seriously expect me to say this.

Me: It sounds good.

Ayanna: It sounds melodramatic, like--

Forest: Yeah, like something out of those books you read rather than spend time with us, like Anne of Green Garders

Me: That's Anne of Green Gables, and it does not--

Ayanna: I am not some red-headed, daydreaming--

Forest: I don't see why you'd rather read stuff like that than work with us. Don't you like us?

Ayanna: Melodramatic--

Me: Quiet! Can we please get back to the speech? Ayanna, just say it.

Ayanna: (sighs) Fine. IhavebeenForest'sbestfriendandbosomcompanionsinceinfancy. Happy?

Me: Close enough. Farryl!

Farryl: I am Farryl, although I don't see why I have to say that, since my name is right there.

Forest: Where?

Ayanna: To the left, Forest.

Farryl: Anyway, I'm an elf, too. I'm fro the same village as Forest, although we're not the same kind of elf.

Ayanna: Hey, I'm from that village, too.

Farryl: Oh, yeah, and Ayanna.

Me: Owyn, start talking now.

Owyn: Hello, I'm Owyn--although, like Farryl said, you can already see that--

Me: Owyn...

Owyn: And I am a human. And, before she interrupts again, let me just say how nice it is to talk to other humans for a change!

Me: O--

Owyn: Okay, okay. I'm a farmer in a...small...village? What do you mean by using present tense? That stuff is already gone by the time I enter the story! I'm not a farmer anymore! I'm a Seeker of Revenge! And my village--

Me: Ssshh! You're giving things away!

Owyn: You brought it on yourself! If you didn't want me to give away the fact that--

Me: Autumn!

...

Me: Autumn! Come on, it's your turn.

Edän: Come on, Autumn, you'll be fine.

Autumn: Um, okay...I guess. Uh...um, hi. Uh...Edän, I really don't want to do this.

Edän: Is it alright if I say it for her?

Me: Fine, fine. As long as someone is talking loud enough to drown out Owyn while he spills every last bean in the house!

Owyn: Fine then. I'll just shut up.

Me: Edän?

Edän: This is Autumn, she's a human, too. She lives with her mother in a small village--

Autumn: Wait, wait, what? I don't live with my--

Me: You do when the story starts, so hush!

Edän: Um...okay then. I'll introduce me. I'm Edän, I'm a bard, a Teller of Tales, a Weaver of Dreams, I spin a thousand Threads of--

Me: Okay, now you're getting as melodramatic as me.

Forest: Ha! You do admit it!

Edän: What can I say, you wrote me.

Me: Yes, and I'm almost regretting writing all of you. Now...

Aretha: My turn! I'm Aretha, I'm the last human here. I'm--Ooh! Smileys! Can I use one?

Me: Yes! Just get on with it!

Aretha: :D :D :D :D :) ;) :D

Me: Enough already!

Aretha: Okay :D . I'm not actually from Santaria, like the rest of them. I come from the northern country of Uriann. My father is a merchant, and I work with him, so we travel south to Santaria to trade every summer, which is why I was captured by slave--

Me: Okay! Okay, that's good.

Aretha: But I wasn't finished! :(

Me:

Aretha: Oh, alright.

Orn: Hello, I'm Orn. I'm another elf. Actually, I'm an Yethia Unahlemor, or Wandering Elf. I've traveled many countries--well, a few--and I have a passion for playing the flute.

Forest: That's the understatement of the year. You should hear him play! I've seen the trees dance to his music! It's like...it's like...

Orn: Well, I don't know if it's that good--

Forest & Ayanna: It is!

Orn: (laughing) Alright. Anyway, I think that's all I was supposed to say. Um, why didn't you have me mention Ridiana?

Me: Uh...because it's Era's cue.

Era: You're really going to make me speak?

Me: Well, I'd really like it if you would.

Era: (exasperated sigh Fine. For those of you who can't read anything on the far left--

Me: Era...

Era: My name is Era. Unlike my companions, I am neither human nor Unahlemor. I believe I am one of the Teiuela, the Twilight Children, the sinlge creations of the Ghirandil, although my authoress has not seen fit to confirm this with me, I am...very sure of it.

Me: Um, thank you, Era. I--

Era: I'm not finished! I make my home in the depths of Halikarda Forest, that place wherein no mortals dare venture.

Farryl: Wow, someone's got some ego going.

Era: Keep silent, mortal. I could destroy with a wave of my hand, if I saw fit.

Farryl: Ooh, scary. Except you won't because then you'd be written out of the story.

Era: Oh would I? Think again, pipsqueak. If I'm written out, how would the rest of them survive Halikarda? I'm essential to this story, unlike some--

Farryl: Oh yeah? Well I'm essential too. After all, she's got to have someone to kill!

(stunned silence)

Farryl: That didn't come out quite right...

Me: Nobody speak! Forest, finish the speech now before someone tells some really vital plot twist.

Forest: But you didn't mention Miiranel!

Me: What?

Forest: There are ten of us, in case you forgot. Miiranel is something of a major character, too.

Me: Miiranel's an animal. He can't speak.

Forest: So? I'm psychically connected to nature because of the Spirit of the Forest, remember? I can translate for him.

Me: Fine. Whatever. Just do it quick.

Miiranel-Through-Forest: Hello, my friend, Star Brow--

Forest: That would be me

Miiranel-Through-Forest: My friend Star Brow calls me Miiranel, because I am a riddle to her. You would, no doubt, consider me a strange creature, as Star Brow does. I shall describe myself through her eyes, as I myself am blind. I have the head of a large lizard; the body and legs of a wolf; a long, serpentine tail with a poisonous barb at the end; and large white, sightless eyes I lived in a cave in another world, until Star Brow brought me here through her dream.

Forest: What? Another world? What aren't you telling me about those dreams, authoress?

Me: I'll tell you later when you can't divulge it to anyone. Now, will you please just finish this really bad idea of mine?

Forest: Sure. We are all companions on a quest to Mount Dasielle, the ancestral home of the dragyns. That's all you're going to tell them about it? You're not going to--

Me: No! You've all told quite enough already. Now, say goodbye.

Forest: Read the book! I've got some really cool dreams.

Ayanna: Hush! You shouldn't advertise. This isn't a commercial. That's a human trait.

Aretha: Hey!

Farryl: (snickers)

Owyn: Forest's got more than cool dreams in the book.

Farryl: What's that supposed to mean?

Edän: Farewell! If ever you need a tale of dashing, daring, or tragedy, feel free to call on me! I also do poetry.

Autumn: Goodbye. (whispering) Okay, how'd I do?

Edän: You did real good. You were excellent. How do you feel?

Autumn: Oh, well, I think...I think I'm gonna be sick...

Edän: Oh. Okay, uh, bye everyone. We gotta go.

Aretha: Hold on, there. I'm a girl, I'll be the one to help her. But you can come. ;)

Orn: Um, Era really wants to go, I'm gonna head out with her. Farewell!

Forest: Oh, that's fine, Orn. See you later.

Me: Wait, I'm supposed to be in charge here!

Forest: Well, then. Be in charge.

Me: (deep, calming breath Okay. All the rest of you, go now. I'll finish up.

Farryl: Fine.

Owyn: (non-committal grunt)

Ayanna: Alright. Come on, Forest.

Forest: Coming. Go on, Miiranel. He says bye. You'll be okay without us?

Me: I'll be fine.

Forest: Okay. Farewell.

Those are my main characters. I'm sorry if they offended anyone. As you can see, I don't exactly have them reigned in as tightly as I should. It might explain why my novel isn't done yet. If you got this far, I have only three things I can say.
1) Wow! That's impressive perseverance
2) Thank you.
3) Farewell.

Forever and Eternity,

Elestar

Haha, this is awesome :)
Okay, I'll introduce my... 7... main charries I have so far. There's a couple more, but they aren't that important, or don't have names yet. Aaaand they're from three different stories, but anyway. This may be really long, because my charries have a mind of their own and don't like to listen sometimes.

I'm completely serious :P
When I RP, sometimes one of my charries will run off and I won't know where they're at. Which reminds me, I'll introduce them too. :P

Sapphira: Hey, I'm Sapphira.... the real one, just so you don't get confused. My author likes to steal my name...

Roxdon: Ara, just get on with it. You don't have to give away the story.

Sapphira: You just called me Ara again. You don't think that gives away part of the story.

Roxdon: Sorry, I forgot again.

Sapphira: You're still giving it away.

Me: Okay, you two, break it up.

Sapphira: Sorry. Anyhow, I'm a human, and I have to tell as many people as I can about the Lord. The ending of my story is rather sad, though, because I am killed by a hostile tribe and die in Roxdon's arms...

Roxdon: WHAT? No fair, you didn't tell me about this! You can't do this to me! NO!!!!!!!! I l---

Me: *tapes Roxdon's mouth shut* You can't tell her that yet.

Roxdon: mfmfmfmmm

Me: *pulls tape off*

Roxdon: Sorry. But you're mean to us!

Me: I could kill you too, if you tell any more about the story.

Roxdon: But you--

Me: *glare*

Roxdon: Fine. My name is Roxdon, and I'm a human. I'm madly in l---

Me: *tapes mouth shut again* Anyway, those are the only main charries from my first story. Here's four more from my second story.

Lithonia: Hi. I'm an Elven maiden. I have to figure out how to make my beloved believe in God, though, or this marriage will never work. Which it might not happen anyway. His father is quite strict.

Eruantien: Yes, he is. I'm surprised he didn't kill me for cutting my hair. Oh, hi. I'm Eruantien, and I'm the prince of the Elves. My father is trying to force me to marry the princess of another kingdom, but I refuse. Lithonia is the only woman I will ever love, and if I have to give up the kingdom to marry her, I will.

Mornenion: She's a beautiful Elf maiden.

Eruantien: Stay away from her, you despicable Dark Elf. Your race deserves to die a slow, painful death. You killed my mother, and treat us cruelly.

Mornenion: An unfortunate event.

Me: Okay, Mornenion, just leave them alone. You can mess with her later.

Mornenion: YES! Take that, Prince.

Eruantien: You aren't serious... right?

Me: You'll find out eventually.

Vanmoriel: And I'm a Dark Elf as well. I would do anything to marry the Prince. It would put me in the perfect position to destroy the Elves. *walks closer to Eruantien* You're a very handsome Elf.

Lithonia: Leave him alone!

Me: Okay, all of you go back to your story now, and stop fighting. Don't get near each other --

Eruantien: But... I'm confused now. Lithonia and I are walking together in the story right now, because you're too lazy to write anymore.

Me: Whatever. Just go back to whatever you were doing before I brought you here.

Mornenion: Are you sure?

Me: Yeah. Why wouldn't I be?

*Mornenion and Vanmoriel go back to kissing*

Me: Um... forget I said anything. Go away you two. Hey, Mornenion. Vanmoriel. Break it up! Argh... I love how they listen to me... Anywho, here's the only charrie I have so far from this year's NaNo novel.

Nicole: Hey. I'm Nicole, and I thought was human, but apparently my author is trying to send an Elf who looks just like me to convince me that I'm an Elf as well. I refuse to go with her to the forest.

Me: Oh, you'll go.

Nicole: Says who?

Me: I do.
Now, here are my RP charries.

Roeth: I'll go first... I'm dead now anyway. I'm Kumori and --

Esara: It's your own fault you died. You should have known not to try to take over Mitzukai... or kiss me. That really ticked Tomanu off.

Roeth: Oh yeah? Well since he's not here, I'll tell you what I think of him. He's--

Kora: *clamps hand over Roeth's mouth* None of that language here. And don't say he's ugly. You know he has issues with that. He made a mistake once, and now he's twilight instead of Celestial. End of story. Stop giving him grief about it. Now Esara, you may tell them about yourself.

Esara: Thank you Kora. I'm Celestial, and I love to help people. When my friend Ciron was captured my the captain of the Kumori, I went to their stronghold to free him. He got away, but they captured me. That's where I met Tomanu. He was Kumori at the time, and he was cruel to me at first. I think he wanted to see me cry. As the story went on, I tried to help him, and ended up falling in love with him. The story is rather long, so I can't tell it all here, but he just asked me to marry him.

Kora: What? Really? When did this happen?

Esara: Long story. You'll find out when we get back to the castle.

Kora: Jaelak and I aren't at the castle right now. We went to the elder's house to get married.

Esara: Aw, I wanted to go to your wedding.

Kora: There isn't going to be one. I don't want to mess with it.

Jaelak: She's in a hurry for some reason.

Me: Oh, I think I know why, but you won't find out until --

Jaelak: Hey, don't give it away. That would ruin my plan.

Kora: What plan?

Jaelak: You'll find out eventually.

Kora: This can't be good... anyway, I'm Kora and I'm Celestial. I turned Kumori once, just like my half-brother Tomanu did, but I managed to get free. Unfortunately, I no longer have my powers, but it's my own fault, I guess. I never should have left.

Jaelak: But you never would have met me if you hadn't left.

Kora: Don't remind me.

Me: Why are you two getting married anyway? You look like you hate each other.

Kora: *whispers in my ear*

Me: Kora! Shame on you!

Kora: Don't kill me!

Me: Oh, I'm not going to.

Jaelak: I said don't give it away. Anyway, I'm Kumo-- I mean Celestial. As you can see, I'm marrying Kora, and I'm going to be king of Mitzukai.

Kora: Did I mention I'm the queen because Tomanu and Nykohel's father died, and I'm the only heir?

Ciron: I just found out Syrei is doing okay.

Esara: That's great! Oh, and Tomanu and I are on our way to tell you something.

Ciron: Really? What? I just got here, and I have no idea what's going on.

Esara: You'll find out in a little bit.

Ciron: Oh, okay. Oh, by the way, I'm Ciron and I'm the only human that my author has made in this RP.

Syrei: And I'm Syrei. I thought I was Celestial, but I just got rid of the Twinrova, and found out that I'm actually Kumori.

Me: Okay, I think that's everyone. Sorry it took so long. I forgot I had that many charries. And they tend to talk a lot.

Jaelak: No more than you do...

Me: I heard that!
Thanks for reading this, everyone :)

Liagiba: Eiram, did they just ignore saying hello to me?
Eiram: Lia...
Liagiba: They did, didn't they! They imbeciles! Don't they know to address a queen when they meet one? What kind of culture do they live in?
Eiram: Lia! Stop it!
Liagiba: Hannah, pound them. Show them that respect is necessary if you ever want to hear from me again.
Eiram: You can't order her around like that, Lia. *sigh*
Liagiba: We think the same...of course I can.
Me: Drop it, Lia. They just don't appreciate your wonderful-ness. Right, Eiram?
Eiram (quickly): Right.
Liagiba: Fine. But just watch and see--no one ever greets me as they should greet a queen. *hands on her hips*

(Ayanna, Forest, Orn, and Era kneel before Queen Liagiba)

Ayanna: Greetings, Mighty Queen. Forgive our tardiness in addressing You Majesty; we were awed by your glorious presence.

Forest: And a little overwhelmed by our author's attempt at an introduction speech.

Ayanna: Forest, hush!

Forest: It's true! She even tried to leave Miiranel out!

Owyn: As would the rest of us.

Ayanna: Get out of here! You weren't even in the italics!

Owyn: (grunts and disappears)

Ayanna: Now, where was I?

Forest: You were trying to kiss up to the queen, here.

Ayanna: You be quiet! That was a rhetorical question; it did not require an answer from you. And for your information, I am being diplomatic, since you can't, even though you're our leader.

Forest: Who says I can't?

Ayanna: Forest, diplomacy requires a thing with which you have not been blessed.

Forest: And what's that?

Ayanna: Tact.

Orn: Um, Ayanna? Maybe we should get a move on?

Ayanna: Right. Um...okay! Got it. Your Majesty, we are but poor travelers, and have little to offer in homage to you. However, we humbly beg that you accept this, our gift.

Forest: (whispered to Ayanna) Can you drop the flowery speeches and hurry up? This floor is cold.

Ayanna: This is Era, one of the Teiuela, the special creation of one of the Ghirandil. She offers her blessings upon your rule.

Era: May the stars always shine upon you, and may the Lady of the Night always guard your steps.

Ayanna: We hope this gift can aid Your Majesty, and that our tardiness in delivering it has not offended too greatly.

Forest: The others said to tell you "Hi", too. Ayanna wouldn't let them come.

Ayanna: That's it! We...uh...must hasten away, Mighty Queen. Um...our...our quest calls. Faretheewell. Ci ta orla helm gethra ta eemor ha ofrie" remnor.

(Exeunt)

Liagiba: Thanks.
Eiram: You owe them a little more than that. They were pretty decent to you...perhaps undeservedly.
Liagiba: Oh, hush up. It's nice to meet all of you. Don't worry about homage, I don't care about nonsense diplomatic junk like that.
Eiram: Lia...
Liagiba: What? Oh, I'm sorry. I see that Ayanna is diplomatic. My apologies for the insult.
Eiram: LIA!
Liagiba: It was nice to meet you. Don't kiss up to me, I don't fall for it. Eiram might though.
Eiram: *turns red* A pleasure to meet all of you. Lia, it's time to go.
Liagiba: *crafty grin*

Esara: Oh, I'm sorry, Queen Liagiba. Hello :)

Kora: I think she's let the whole queen thing go to her head...

Esara: That's no way to talk to a queen. Even if she is self-centered. Oops... I didn't mean that.

Kora: I can't say something like that about her, but you can tell me what to do?

Esara: Oops, forgot about that... You're queen of the Celestials now...

Kora: Yeah, but I didn't really have a choice...

Esara: Anyhow... Nice to meet you, Lia.

Kora: *eyeroll*

Eiram: Now how do you feel, Lia?
Me: Eiram, watch it. You don't want another black eye.
Liagiba: I'm not self-centered. I care more about Leor than anything else.
Eiram: Except...
Liagiba: What?
Me: Duh.
Liagiba: Oh. You want me to say except for Eiram. *turns red*
Eiram: Anyways. A pleasure to meet you, Queen Kora. Despite your tongue. You see, Lia's been royalty all her life, as have I.
Me: Yeah, Eiram! Tell 'em who you are, Great King of Dalbrae & Kitsik
Eiram: That doesn't really matter. It's a pleasure to meet you too, Esara.
Liagiba: I apologize for my sharp words. It's nice to meet both of you. Do either of you fight with a sword? How about ride horses?

Esara: I'll have to apologize for Kora. She was Kumori for most of her life, so she still acts like them sometimes, even if she doesn't mean to.

Kora: I think I can speak for myself.

Esara: Sorry. Yes, I carry a sword. I've never rode a horse, though.

Kora: I prefer a knife myself.

Esara: So I have noticed.

Kora: Hey, now, I promised Tomanu I wouldn't kill myself.

Esara: And you had better keep that promise. *whispers to Eiram and Lia* She's also slightly depressed for some reason... I haven't found out why yet.

Kora: I heard that! I'm perfectly fine.

Eiram: Kora's behavior is nothing to apologize for. It is nice to meet both of you.
*a knock on the door*
Marloi (Lia's uncle): Lia! I'm going to a duel! Don't tell your brother!
Liagiba: Uncle, your secret's out. Kora, Esara, this is my uncle who was king before my brother. Marloi, Kora and Esara, Sapphira's characters.
Marloi: *bows pompously, sword in one hand* A pleasure. Don't tell Natahn that I'm dueling. I'm nay too old.
Eiram: Of course not, my king.
Marloi: Eiram, my boy! Keeping my dear niece in line?
Eiram: *sighs* Trying. Unsuccessfully.
*Marloi & Lia laugh together*
Marloi: Farewell! Wish me luck in my duel!
Liagiba: Farewell! Now, Esara, you need to get a horse.

Kora: A knife can easily be hidden in the folds of a cloak, but you have to watch and not stab yourself. I have practiced for years, so I am skilled with knives. I don't mean to brag, of course.

Esara: She flipped one through the air once and caught it in her teeth. Just about gave me a heart attack.

Kora: I wasn't going to drop it....

Esara: Yes, I do need to ride a horse sometime. I'll have to see if Tomanu wants to take a couple of the palace horses out in the fields sometime.

Kora: You and Tomanu... Just forget about him.

Esara: Not likely.

Liagiba: Ooooh! Teach me to catch a sword in my teeth. You and Natahn'll love that, Eiram...
Eiram: *groans* Please stop now, Kora! You're giving her ideas.
Liagiba: Horses are amazing. Mine is Riondal, a black & white paint. Kora, you're awesome!
Eiram: Torments.
Liagiba: *laughs gaily and flashes white teeth* Thanks, Kora!

I made it! It was fun. And interesting. I don't have any real characters yet, but the two I started were rather strange. They kept interrupting each other and arguing and and saying weird things... I don't know what was wrong with them. They started out so nice... :( :)

Again, thank you. I almost didn't make it myself.
What are your characters names? Speaking for myself, arguing characters are some of the most interesting; they keep the conversation going. For the reader, that is. However, for the author that tries to control them...

Yeah, it's pretty fun when the charries have clashing personalties, but when you have to control them... yikes! XD

Do you guys ever get weird looks when you tell someone you can't fully control your charries?

You're welcome. :)

The two that I was speaking of were Jasmine and Juliette. They are humans and sisters and don't have any story behind them.

I suppose you are right about arguing being interesting for the reader. :) I was wondering where it was coming from, though... it's kind of scary to think that kind of stuff can come from my head. ;) Haha.

I haven't really said anything about not being able to control my characters to anyone besides you all and my siblings... I am sure I would get weird looks, though, if/when I say it to others. But I already get weird looks as it is, without mentioning that... so I don't suppose it would be that bad. :D Oh, The joys of being crazy...

Well, I think the only time I've said anything about it other than here is once in a RP I said I had to go find a charrie because he ran off and I didn't know what he was doing. One of the other people said, "But... he's your charrie. How did you lose him?" (that wasn't an exact quote) lol I thought it was rather funny.

Being crazy is fun! ;D

Me: Okay, girls, please introduce yourselves.

Juliette: Hello, my name is Juliette and I am 20 years old...

Jasmine: *stares into the distance*

Juliette: Ahem! Jasmine! *pokes her*

Jasmine: *jumps* Oh! Hi there! Who are you?

Juliette: I, dearest, am your sister. Wake up!

Jasmine: I wasn't talking to you!

Juliette: Oh. I'm sorry.

Me: Jasmine, these are just some, um, crazy Christian homeschooled writer friends of mine. Now, please just introduce yourself!

Jasmine: Crazy? But why do I have to--

Juliette: Just do it!

Jasmine: Alrighty, then. I will. 'Ello! Ma name be Jasmine an' Ah'm fro' th' land o' the shinning waters and Ah....

Juliette: She means Lake City. And Jasmine, please stop talking like that!

Jasmine: I'm not finished yet! As I was saying, I live in the land of the shinning waters--

Juliette: Lake City

Jasmine: *glares* But that's so boring!

Juliette: It's where we live...

Jasmine: Fine. Please just let me finish!

Juliette: Alright, alright!

Jasmine: Anyway, in the land of shinning waters--

Juliette: But--

Jasmine: Shh! We like to play along the edge of the lakes for which our fair land is named. Once, I thought I saw a sea monster way-

Juliette: Oh, please, Jasmine! Not the sea monster story!

Jasmine: *turns towards you all* I am sorry. I cannot tell you about that. I have received my orders. That story is now classified and you didn't hear a thing.

*turns to Juliette*

Can't I just tell them--

Juliette: No.

Jasmine: *pouts* Well, anyway, sometimes when we get tired of playing near the water, we go and climb trees and...

Juliette: Ahem. You *points at Jasmine* climb trees and play near the edge of the water. I play violin and embroider.

Jasmine: I know. You're so boring!

Juliette: Hey! That's not nice!

Me: *snaps fingers* Girls, please!

Both girls: Sorry, Carissa!

Me: That's okay... you can go back to playing and practicing now.

Well, thank you for reading. These are the two girls I made up for fun. I'm sorry they turned out so... um... argumentative and weird. :)

I will probably have some real characters showing up soon from the story we are working on... *looks hopeful*

Juliette and Jasmine seem like wonderful characters! And, as a reader, the arguing was...enticing.

Ayanna: That is an awful thing to say!

Forest: You have to admit, though, they sounded like sisters.

Ayanna: Well...

Forest: In fact, they sounded a lot like we do.

Ayanna: She might have a point, you know.

Me: Well?

Forest: What?

Me: (sigh) I let you come because you said you wanted to say hello.

Forest: Oh, yeah. Hi Jasmine!

Ayanna: And hello, Juliette. I must ask, what pictures do you prefer to embroider? I do some needlecraft myself, but I've never tried embroidery, although I do love the designs.

Forest: It's surprising that you didn't take it up; you do everything else that ladylike. Jasmine, are you sure the sea monster story is completely classified?

Ayanna: Forest! That is-I-you-You have never been so tactless--
(Ayanna continues to berate Forest in the background)

Your sisters are really cool, Duchess Daisy. I hope to read whatever story you give them. (And I apologize for Forest's request; she doesn't always think before she acts or speaks.)

Liagiba: See, Eiram? I'm not the only one around here who doesn't act like a lady. Nice to meet you, Jasmine.
Eiram: She's not a lady, no offense, Jasmine.
Liagiba: And you called ME mean? Shush. Nice to meet you Jasmine. Do you wear trousers or dresses?
Eiram: Lia, she's probably your present-day commoner, unlike us, who seem to have appeared out of the past, not to mention Hannah's imagination.
Liagiba: Fine. Can I visit your home sometime, Jasmine?
Eiram: *sigh* Why do there have to be OTHER unladylike characters around here?
Me: Shut up, Eiram. You should be used to us by now!

I love your characters, Carissa! I could be Jasmine, although I don't live by a river or lake... :)
