I did occasionally adjust the lines to make it a little more clear, but I wasn't always consistent in that, so hopefully it's all easy enough to follow anyway.

Where I live half the people I know call everyone honey. My dentist, the lady at the feed store, the weird guy down the street.... my mom says it's a southern thing. Not long ago someone I know called me "Dear" and then hastily stepped back and wondered if that was out of line. My mom, when hearing the story said, "Why would that bother you (it didn't) when everyone else you know calls you honey?"
