Me: I think all dragons are a little passionate Lillylight.

Malcolm: Not all of us.

Me:You're a little more materialistic there bud.

Gavin: *looks at Fallen* No matter how hard they try, huh? *looks up at Me* Can you fix this? *gestures to arm*

Me: No, that's cheating...

Gavin: *pleading eyes* Please...

Me: *head/desk* N-no.

Gavin: Come on!

Me: Fine!! *regenerates Gavin's arm* But you're still...sore..or...something.

Gavin: Great... Now I need a dagger.

Me: *glares* Why do I feel like you're using me for your own gain?

Gavin: Maybe because I am.

Me: *shrugs* Oh well. *gives you dagger* don't kill anyo-

Gavin: *throws dagger at Fallen* I'm sorry, Beth, what was that?

Me: *palmface* Just forget it.

She asked what the two safest positions are for avoiding strikes, if I recall aright.

Mordir: [Holds his free arm in front of his face, wincing as the orbs hit his arm] I tend to be one who prefers making sure my victims never get back on their feet. [Grabs Emuna's ankle as she kicks] But if it's imprisonment or torture that you would prefer, I think we can- [Lets go of Emuna and stagger backward, temporarily blinded] Why you little imp! [Blinks several times, and then slices Emuna's shoulder, then slashes at her chest]

Me: He's completely lost it.

Mark: Fifty pages? That's a lot. Who started it?

Me: The guy who's determined to get himself killed.

Mordir: I am not!

Mark: [Swallows nervously] And I thought Allare was freaky enough...

Tesmir: Naw, it's not that bad. Sure, it's got a few dangerous people that will kill you as soon as they look at you, but-

Me: Ahem.

Tesmir: Bless you.

Me: [Slams forehead against the wall]

Cassie: Oh, so I can be a nurse! Cool! [Looks thoughtful for a moment] Um, the safest places... Behind your sword, and at a higher elevation than your opponent.

Me: I thought she had answered, but I'll answer it again. I'm not sure where she answered last time. Someone was busy rescuing their Keeper.

Chayn: [Pretends not to have heard]

Tynx: Yeah, that's what they say, too, when others say they'll beat you. That's only to get them worked up enough to get reckless and expose an opening. [Jumps to the side again, eyes still glowing. He fires three small light balls in rapid bursts] So, tell me, what has Mordir promised you for joining him?

Jek: [Withdraws the vines a little ways] I have no intention of bringing down the rafters. If it is death you want, I think we can arrange that. [Vines writhe forward, lashing out at Raczr]

Mark: [To Aren] OK... that's really cool.

Me: Wall is now broken.

Cassie: [Looks up with a smile at Erronys] Hi, Erronys! [Strokes him fondly]

Me: I'm sure Malcolm's passionate about something. But I think you're right.

Chayn: I will, little one. Take care of your friend.

Emuna: *screams when Mordir slashes her shoulder* *grasps shoulder and expertly dodges his next attack* Little imp, huh? *lets go of bloody shoulder* I highly doubt that. *glowing white sword appears in her hand*

Brian: Mordir did... And... *eyes widen* Emuna! Get over here right now!

Emuna: *glances at Brian* I'm fine.

Brian: *says under breath* And she scolds me for lying...

Emuna: *slashes at Mordir's chest quickly* *throws another orb at his face, it explodes and sends a small burst of light* *stabs Mordir's shoulder the instant the orb explodes*

Fallen: *dodges Gavin's dagger and blocks Tynx's light balls with a shield of light* He promised me nothing. I do this for my own entertainment. It's boring here otherwise.

Ark: (@Gavin) She really can't be killed...

Me: *nods*



I think I'm going to take Dai out...I keep not knowing what to do with him.

Me: *shrugs* I didn't know what to do with Gavin for like fifteen pages...never know if you'll need Dai, though.

Gavin: Can't be killed?! Come on! Everybody can be killed!

Brian: Elah?

Gavin: He's an infinite amount of exceptions!

Brian: *shrugs* Your funeral...

Gavin: Hey, Brian, could you?

Brian: *sigh* *Levitates dagger back to Gavin*

Gavin: *catches dagger* Great.

As my characters aren't doing anything, and I can't keep up, I'm officially leaving Character Introductions. I may return eventually, when I have more characters to develop...

I'd like to know how this works since Merashath was flying full-speed. He is also close to the ground, so there are many people between him and Chayn. You might want to repeal the poison attack, Aris.

Merashath: *flies around the perimeter of the battle. then immediately re-directs and tackles Emuna, somersaulting several times on the ground, and landing with his talons pinning her arms apart.* Two can play the safety net game. Let off of Pirzak and Emuna lives. *drooling a lava-like substance*

Cuoash: *notices the drool and her eyes widen* He's bloodthirsty and angry right now.

Rinifer: *Ducks to the side and kicks to the stomach*

Me: Um, forgot where Trina is...

Trina: Thanks a lot...

Me: Bye, Manda's characters!!!

Elanhil: *puts his sword up to block, but with the sudden change can't protect his face. He bends back-wards, letting the sword pass over, but he stumbles, barely managing to keep Tounon in front of him. He attempts to bring his guard up, but there is a window of time for Tounon to strike.*

Gavin: Can't be killed, of course, why would she be able to be killed? No, that would make this whole thing too eas-

Me: Stop complaining and- What is it with Merashath and attacking Emuna?!!! *head/desk*

Gavin: Is that a hint of concern I hear? What is it, Bethy? Is your favorite character going to be killed?

Me: Shut it, Gavin!

Gavin: *is quiet*

Emuna: *struggles against Merashath* Let me go you evil beast! *kicks her legs and fruitlessly tries to break free*

Brian: Emuna! *instantly has a glowing white sword in his hand* *runs up to Merashath and slices at his wings*

Me: I can always pull Fallen out if it bugs people that she can't be killed. I know I hate having my characters fight other people's invincible villains.

Ark: In this case, "can't be killed" isn't the same thing as "can't be hurt," either...

Fallen: Be quiet, Ariel! Besides, that applies to you, too!

Ark: *shrugs*

Me: She's just dangerous, and she was attacking their leader so he needed to...

Merashath: *launches a huge ball of fire that explodes in Brian's face before he can get close* Nobody approach her.

Me: Yah, but in Emuna's defense, Mordir attacked Seymour first so. By the fair rules of the good guys...*wonders were I'm going with this* *goes back to breaking fairy dust bottles in the chat room*

Emuna: *glares at Mordir* And how do exactly you plan to kill me, scum?

Brian: *dodges flames* *his body is covered by light armor again* *reaches Mordir and slices at his chest while creating an orb in his other hand*

Gavin: Yah, well, it's sort of impossible to hurt her if she's always on her guard!

Me: No, Gavin, it's impossible to hurt her if you're you..too bad you are. (@Leandra) Nah, Gavin is just a complainer. Keep her here!

Me: So many posts since this morning! *faints*

Skylar: *agilely climbs into the rafters, something clenched in his teeth* *starts following Jek*

Devon: *has his eye on someone, but is waiting for an opening*

Alexis: *face whitens* You let Emuna go, and then I'll let Pirzak go.

Merashath: Dodges flames? That's, sort of impossible.... but, for good measure... *holds Emuna up to use as his shield.* @Alexis - No, you let Pirzak go.

Emuna: *thrashes against grip* For your small intellect, it doesn't matter if he dodged it or not. His armor protects him from heat!

Brian: *pauses* Let her go, I can go around her!

Emuna: Alexis! Don't let Pirzak go!

Brian: What?!

Emuna: If she lets him go he could hurt Jay again or any other character in here.

Brian: Really, Emuna, I doubt right now is the time for chivalry.

Emuna: *glares*

Brian: *sigh* Point taken...

Ember - (Growls at Merashath) I don't think so. Drop the girl!

Ember - (Dives down and tackles Mordir, pinning him beneath long claws) Release Emuna, and I'll release Mordir. (@Mordir) Don't try anything; I'm not a fireless dragon like Thysal.

Sylvia - Are you crazy?

Ember - More or less. Don't worry.

Me - My charries can't speak more than ten words in a sentence, it seems.

Ashrai - (Casually watching the battle) I'm not seeing any need for my skills here.

Traxus - Assassinations and poisonings aren't exactly needed in pitched battle.

Ashrai - Exactly.

Zanya - Rrrrmmmmmmph! (Struggles against the Suragore, working her claws into its scales)

Silver - I didn't know it could do that. That was weird.

Ryan - Sentient is when an animal thinks like a person. Like you guys.

Silver - Can we drown it somehow? Find me a ditch or something . . .

Ryan - That might be a bad idea.

Alexis: (@Emuna) Are you sure? (@Ember) Yay! I hoped that would happen. (@Merashath) I suggest you let my friend go. *digs rapier a little into Pirzak's neck.

Emuna: *nods* Positive.

Gavin: (@Eclipsi) First of all...I've been informed it's correct for me to say hello to new characters...so...Hello.

Me: *cough* informed by getting whacked in the head *cough*

Gavin: *glares at me for a second* And second...I think we have a lot of fights going because the villains rebelled against Uhh...something.

Shawn: "I will."

Jay: "Alexis, do it. Keep an eye on him, but don't let Emuna..." *closes eyes, exhausted again*

Me: "Bye, Amanda! Hello, Taivien and co. Right now the villains are rebelling against heroes and authors. Mordir heads them up."

Pirzak: "Let me go."

Raczr: *swings higher and deeper into the rafters, his long hooked knife ready*

Me: "I'd keep her, LeaF."

Stellwento: Don't worry we don't know what's going on either.

Fulgar: Which is problematic because it's our job to make sure everyone else is clueless.

Me: Lillylight, I've just had an idea. Could you PM me a very detailed description of Cassie or a picture?

Merashath: *breathes fire in Emuna's face* The force of the blast alone could have knocked him back several feet. *runs his claw up Emuna's neck, making a long gash, until he gets to the jaw bone where he digs in slightly* I wouldn't do that, Alexis...

Emuna: *screams and starts to cry as the claw reaches her jaw bone*

Brian: Merashath! Let her go!

Me - TAIVEN! (Fliestackleshugs) I'm so glad you came back!

Niarah - Feel like giving her a rundown?

Me - Why don't we all give a brief description of our active characters? Ember is a black and gold dragon, Sylvia is his rider, Silver is a water dragon, and she's teamed up with Ryan, Niarah, Traxus, and Ashrai are all anthromorphic felines, and Thysal . . . You know Thysal.

Thysal - Thanks.

Ember - Silver!

Silver - (Whirls and darts at Merashath) Let her go! (Halts and draws water from any nearby sources, causing it to splash over Merashath and Emuna) Try to burn that!

Ryan - (Slides off Silver) I'll be helping Zanya and Rowen. (Draws his sword as he runs back)

Ember - (Growls) I can do the same to Mordir, and I'm losing my patience. Release Emuna if you want this one to live!

Sylvia - (Huddles down between Ember's wings)

Me: A small description for my MCs? K....they're all human-like (as in body form) Emuna has brown hair and brown eyes, Brian has dirty blond hair and brown eyes, and Gavin has light brown hair and really dark blue eyes.

Me: "All my characters are human-like. Shawn has brown eyes and blond hair, Jay has dark hair and green eyes, and Pirzak has dark hair and blue eyes. Raczr..."

Raczr: "My own author doesn't know my appearance."

Me: *is behind on fractalling* "Sorry. Anywho, he's strong."

Pirzak:

Jay: "Alexis, let him go now."

Me: "Oh, and Jay would be the character who just almost died."

Jay: *winces*

Shawn: *grabs a rock and throws it at Merashath, hitting his... wrist at a painful angle*

Me: *is annoyed her siggy colors won't work out*

Me: All my characters are powerless humans. Alexis is one of my MC's, Devon is my main villain, Skylar my supporting villain.

Alexis: *is getting confused* *looks back and forth between Jay and Emuna, Merashath and Ember* *single tear falls down her cheek* *whispers to herself* Is it protecting if my protecting hurts one of the ones I'm trying to protect?

Mordir: [Deflects Emuna's sword, but the orb catches him off guard and blinds him again, leaving him open for her second attack, which pierces is already wounded shoulder] Oh that's it! [Springs forward, but stops when Merashath barrels into Emuna] You, sir, have excellent timing.

Me: Yeah, he saved her from getting ripped to shreds.

Mordir: I'm not that cruel. Granted, I can be cruel, but not that much. [Cries out in pain as Ember pins him down] Oh, not again!

Chayn: [Watches her poison balls disappear] Hey!

Me: Just wait.

Chayn: [Huffs and flies in circles impatiently]

Tynx: [Tilts his head] Oh? I would've thought a villain has plenty of things to keep themselves busy with. Villages to raid, people to behead, and whatnot.

Me: Goodness, aren't we all the sunshine-happy bunch?

Tounon: [Doesn't miss a beat, and slashes at Elanhil's chest, following by a thrust at his shoulder]

Mordir: [Tries to ward off Brian] Hey, could you wait, please? I'm currently entangled in a dragon's talon. [Glares at Ember] You dragons are so annoying.

Jek: [Doesn't see Skylar. Focusing on binding Raczr. Jumps up onto a rafter, the vines make their way slowly across others] I haven't done much battle with magic before, so this is good practice.

Tesmir: Good, you'll probably need it.

Me: Gah, I keep on spelling his name Raczar.

Rowen: We're lucky it isn't encasing itself in its blue gel stuff. Then we'd have a doozy of a time getting her out.

Me: I should probably put up a picture of him...

Suragore: [Emits a muffled roar (or a loud one to Zanya) as he tries to turn his head inside the close space in his hood and snap at Zanya, but doesn't succeed very well.]

Rowen: [Growls and pounces on the Suragore, trying to pin its wings] I don't think it has a mind like us, but it's probably not a dumb animal, either. It can think, but not extensively.

Me: Hi, Taiven and Eclipsi!

Rune: I didn't know you all were supposed to keep everyone clueless.

Me: [To Riniel] OK.

Cassie: [Screws face up in thought] Behind your opponent, or keeping your distance?

Tesmir: Aris, you would be dead in a heartbeat in a battle.

Me: Thank you, I appreciate the confidence.

Seymour: [Watches Merashath closely] Let the girl go.

Mark: Um, would I be of any help anywhere? I hate just standing around watching.

Me: Did I miss anyone? I feel like I'm forgetting a character...

Brian: *pauses for a second and looks from Emuna to Merashath* Okay, okay, okay. Pause! Just for one second here. *holds hands up in surrender, white sword disappears into thin air* *walks up to Merashath slowly* Can we talk?

Jay: "Alexis, I'll be fine. Let him go!"

Me: *le gaspeth* "What to say I knoweth not!"

Shawn:

Me: "Oh, right."

Raczr: *slices the vines with his knife* "If you reach back here, there will be consequences."

Pirzak: *kicks Alexis while she is disctracted, hoping for an opening*

Fallen: That's never been my style, and even if it was, I can't do any of that here.

Thysal - (Growls at Pirzak) And you'll behave yourself, Sir, or you'll find yourself in a condition similar to Emuna's.

Niarah - Fallen! Leave the fox alone! (Decide to help with Tynx's battle)

Me - I need characters which aren't so bent on saving people.

Ashrai - And what am I?

Sylvia - (Slides off Ember and draws a dagger) He doesn't look so evil . . .

Ember - (Growls, warning her to say nothing) C'mon, Merashath, I'm getting tired of waiting.

Me - And this was the adorable, harmless dragon cub from several posts ago.

Zanya - (Nose to nose with the Suragore) You know, it would be a lot easier on both of us if you'd just open the hood. Even a thoughtless instinctive snake would know that.

Me - Is it currently airborne?

Ryan - (Runs up) Good luck making it understand, Zanya. (Slashes at the Suragore's wing with his sword)

Alexis: *moves leg in response to Pirzak's kick, but doesn't let go* *shakily* Merashath, I give you my word of honour that I will let him go....but you must first let Emuna go.
Julian: *pops up beside her* A Vega's word of honour is binding. You can trust her.
Alexis: *startled*

Fulgar: Well, it's an abstract job description.

Stellwento: But the hours are flexible.

Me:

Stian: *stretches wings and yawns*

Lakkerfax: *crawls into a pile of dead sticks and catches fire*

Me: That reminds me, I have another race of dragons on the loose.

*a light flicks into the fire*

*a small chirpy growl is heard*

*a bright green dragon, the size of a young cat, crawls out*

Adish: *climbs slowly up Kaida's arm and to her shoulder, wrapping his tail around her neck for stability* Greetings my lady; and to all races and creatures present. *nods and blinks hard once in a respectful manner*

Kaida: *smiles, but only slightly, and strokes Adish's chin*

Me: Wait...who was being warned not to talk?

Gavin: Nice...do you follow anything?

Me: Hey!

Gavin: Well, you're always confused an-

Me: And you earned yourself a three post time out.

Gavin: *scowls*

Emuna: *tries to tell Alexis no, but is slowly drifting into unconsciousness*

Fallen: *glances at Niarah* And what business of yours is it if I don't?

Jek: [Smiles] I'll take my chances. [Scrambles onto another rafter, just one below Raczr's]

Aris: You're all crazy.

Mordir: You try getting pinned beneath a dragon-like creature, then you see if we're crazy.

Aris: I'm just sayin'.

Tynx: Well, what do you like to do? [Fires another light ball]

Me: My character is having a conversation with a villain and acting as if it's a perfectly normal thing to do.

Seymour: We all tend to get a bit odd while here.

Mordir: Speak for yourself, half-elf.

Me: You should stop talking.

Suragore: [Pins his ears back, eyes narrowing into slits. Then slowly bares his fangs, drool dripping from them, then snaps suddenly at her, opening the hood at the same time to give him room to stretch his neck]

Me: No, it's not.

Suragore: [Whacks Ryan with its wing as he approaches, but gets cut in the process]

Rune: I see.

Tesmir: Is that your dragon, Kaida?

Merashath: *A burst of flames explodes from him going upwards, evaporating the water...he snarls and removes his claw from Emuna's neck, keeping a grip on her shoulders* talk?!?! I rarely talk. Make it quick or the girl dies. And if any of you harm Pirzak or Mordir you'll regret it.

Me: I'll get to Elanhil's duel soon, I promise...

Brian: Quick, got it. While I doubt bribery would work much with you as I see you're definitely not one to be daunted with. See that gold locket she's wearing? It's her life-giving necklace, take it away and she'll die slowly. Not to mention it's worth a fortune...solid gold. So, you can take the necklace and call it a day...how about that?

Me: Well...you've officially lost it Brian. One hundred and ten percent, I mean you actually think I'm going to let y-

Brian: Shush!

Chayn: Brian are you crazy?! We're trying to save-

Me: [Throws a dictionary] Those things aren't just for villains. Shush and let do the talking.

Chayn: [Shakes her head, a little dazed]

Mordir: [Cranes neck around to watch Brian and Merashath]

Me: Oh.... I've been spelling Merashath's name wrong... like, for a long time.... oops.

Zurik: Where am I, exactly?

Me: No idea.

Kaida: I don't know that a dragon can belong to anyone...

Melany: She does have something of a way with dragons. She's also the one who's closest to Malcolm and Erronys.

Aren: And her blade was carved of the bones of a great lyrblaka.

Adish: I cannot speak for my greater brothers but a pyrausta is not bound to anyone person except by choosing. Lady Kaida does not rule us, we come as we please.

Me: Fire attracts pyraustas more than any other dragon. They are the only species that can thrive in flames (like the mythical salamander). Lakkerfax attracted him with the blaze.

Fallen: *deflects the light ball and bounces it back at Tynx* It depends. I prefer to work on an individual basis; take one person, use him as much as I can, and then get rid of him. What I really want is to bring more Fae under the control of my master, but it's hard to get my hands on them. Humans are much easier. *pauses* Oh, and I garden on occasion, when I have time.

Me: O.o

Fallen: What? There's nothing wrong with a little gardening here and there. It soothes the nerves.

Ark: She's right, it does.

Fallen: See?

Me: By the way, there may be some slight modifications to the way Ark behaves. Talking in chat with someone made me realize I haven't always had him properly in character here.

Me - Gardening, hmm? Sounds relaxing. My villains need a relaxing hobby.

Ashrai - Being myself.

Me - You aren't technically a villain, sir.

Ashrai - I'm not technically a hero either.

Zanya - (Drops to the ground and rolls out of the way, feeling the snake brush across her back, then springing to her feet) See? It listened.

Ryan - (Jumps back) Wonderful. Now get on Rowen!

Niarah - (Watching Fallen coolly) No business of mine, I suppose. Maybe I should leave you, though, it appears that the fox is winning.

Ashrai - You're just bent on getting yourself slain, Niarah.

Me - And you are . . . ?

Ashrai - A feline with issues. Yes, I know.

Silver - D'ya want me to flood this room? I will, Merashath! Immortal maybe, but can you breathe under water?

Me - (Headdesk)

Ember - Right, Mordir is a goner. (Inhales . . . .)

Ryan - Cliffhangers, gotta love 'em.

Me - Focus, you! It occurs to me that I got nothing of importance done in this post . . .
