Devon: (@Brian) *grunts* No objections from me if you want to toss it over. (@Terminus) Who are you calling stupid, him or me?

Ark: (@Brian) She isn't--*sighs* She bound herself to a demon.

Terminus: *glares at Devon* Yes, because I would call you stupid as oppose to a weak coward. Think!

Brian: (@Ark) Ah....that sounds very interesting...not unlike Termi-I probably shouldn't say that. Him being here and not knowing and all.

Devon: (@Terminus) I am glad you no longer consider me a weak coward. I did think, before I ever entered this place. My sleeve is not emptied of its tricks.

Alexis: He must have something I don't know about.

Me: [Gasping and falls flat on her face] Made it!!!!

Orrun: She died!!

Seymour: She didn't die.

Mordir: Oh please, she hardly read the posts.

Me: OK, I'm better. Now, to reply.

Meriak: [Hisses and jumps back, then flies upward. She circles above Kaida, then comes down from behind, slamming both feet into her back]

Me: [To Ashrai] I know. It doesn't seem to work here. I don't know what else to give her, though.

Orrun: So, if a Meriak's power to instill fear doesn't work on other authors' characters, does that make us easily frightened?

My characters: [Look at me expectantly]

Me: No, of course not.... haha...

Mordir: Subtle.

Suragore: [Roars in anger and lunges at Zanya]

Rowen: [Swipes a claw at him, snarling]

Mordir: [To Pirzak] So am I. Who should we start with first?

Chayn: If you value your lives, I suggest you stay back.

Mordir: We're not coming after you, dragon. [To Fallen] The rebellion is a group of villains rebelling against authors and heroes. We're rebelling to rise out of the pit of mockery that is imposed on us by them.

Me: He usually isn't that fancy with words.

Orrun: Yeah, that's usually Seymour's job. [Gets smacked with the blade of Seymour's blade] I was kidding!

Rune: [Leans back, but grabs Tesmir's shirt and pulls him right into Tanner, then slashes at them both]

Tesmir: Gah! [Just barely defends while trying to keep his balance]

Me: OK.... did I miss anyone?

Aris: I wanna dance!

Cassie: Hide and seek!

Me: You'd probably have to use the spoiler thing, at least for the seeker, so he can't see where people are hiding.

Cassie: They both sound fun!

Tynx: I can't dance, but I'll try! Hide and seek should be easy.

Cassie: You could shift into a human, Tynx, that way you could dance.

Me: Let's slow down the thought train until we know what's going on.

Seymour: Whatever happens, I'm sure it will be just as wild as the dodgeball game.

Aris: Dodgeball?

Mordir: You get pounded with balls. I failed.

Me: Very badly, too. You were the first one of my characters out, I believe.

Chayn: [Nudges Shawn] You feel up to flying, little one?

Ark: He does seem to have a short temper, doesn't he?


Fallen: (@Mordir) This rebellion intrigues me. Yes, I will join you.

Devon: *is glad Fallen is joining the rebellion*

Terminus: What is this rebellion? Who are we rebelling against?

Me: *grumbles* Better not be rebelling against me or I won't keep you alive long enough for three books.

Terminus: *scoffs* You have no story without me.

Me: That's what you think.

Devon: We're rebelling against the good characters, mostly.

Terminus: *grins* Like Emuna?

Emuna: No! L-like....*sigh* Yah...like me.

Brian: Ha! The good characters would take down the rebellion before you got one blow through.

Terminus: Do you doubt the power of evil?!

Brian: No...I know for a fact it's weak!

Terminus: Can I slap him?!

Me: NO!

Terminus: *glares at me* I loathe you.

Me: Well, you're welcome for creating you too.

Some of the problem is my characters' faith. They haven't been given a spirit of fear. At least most of them haven't, Kaida is living her fears so Meriak's powers are only really a mirror. Tanner wouldn't last long which is why I'm not letting him fight Meriak.

Kaida: *falls but rolls off her shoulder slashing at Meriak's feet as she comes out of the roll*

Tanner: *takes advantage of Tesmir's block and gashes Rune's shin*

Stellwento: Author, I want pizza. May we have some?

Me: *shrugs* *conjures pizza* Whatever happened to eating within your natural diet?

Fulgar: *licks pepperoni* We do, but we thought it would be a compliment to humans if we ate there food.

Umectra: Because nothing says "I care" like theft...

Devon: Yes, and like Alexis:
Alexis: Authoress!
Me: Hey, I have my hands off here. It's called development.
Alexis: I hate development.


*laughs*

Terminus: She finds your comback funny. I say Ha! I've heard better counteractions from the animal that sleeps on the side of this large streak of rock you call road!

Me; You mean road kill?

Terminus: Yes, the kill of the road!

Me: I need to sit you down and have a talk with you about Earth one of these days...

Emuna: What is pizza?

Me: Earths elven bread....

Emuna: Why don't we have some?

Me: Because it's out of character.

Gavin: You gave her C-4 to blow me up!

Me: Sha! That's different!

Gavin: HOW IS THAT DIFFERENT?!

Haha, that sounds annoying.

Bëduuín nods, and waits.

Mordir: Glad to have you join us, Fallen. We're currently on a sort of hold right now, but sometimes I'm not sure.

Me: I tell you, it's gonna collapse on you.

Mordir: Thank you for your input.

Me: Welcome.

Mordir: [To Raczr] Thank you. [To Pirzak] Sounds good. I'll see if I can get Suragore to leave off of attacking Zanya and Rowen and have it keep Thysal busy for you. Most likely if she's helping Jay, we're all dead.

Chayn: [Laughter rumbles in her chest] Everyone must rest sometime. Sleep does a body wonders. [Bumps him gently with her nose]

Me: What would she be like if she had babies?

Orrun: Just as motherly and protective as she is with Shawn, probably.

Chayn: [Blinks, but says nothing (although it's apparent that she's feeling very motherly now)]

Rune: [Winces and staggers back] Clever. [Thrusts at Tanner's side, then flicks his sword down to cut Tanner's leg]

Me: Oh.... well this should be interesting, then.

Meriak: [Tucks in her legs and spins, slamming her wing into Kaida]

Me: There's gotta be something.... ooh, I got an idea.

Tesmir: What part of that last bit tells me that this won't be good?

Me: You worry too much.

Tesmir: I have a right to worry. I have to live with whatever you plan on doing.

Suragore: [Snaps at Rowen's neck]

Rowen: [Retreats and few steps, then opens his mouth a torches the creature]

Suragore: [Flies up and over the flames, then comes down on Rowen and Zanya from above, snapping at Zany's arm]

Rowen: [Roars in alarm]

Davien: *Grunting with effort, he rolls onto his side, and, as Devon starts to tip over, curls his legs up and hooks Devon's foot with his own. In one motion, Davien straightens his legs, (which pushes Devon off his back), and twists, locking his arms around Devon's neck. They are now kneeling on the ground, hugging each other. Very tightly.*

Mahlia (@Emuna): I knew he'd get out of that one.

Davien: Ullg.

Me: Hmm. I'm having trouble picturing it. Are they both kneeling, or is Davien kneeling, and Devon on his back kind of dangling from Davien's arms by his neck?

Me: They are both kneeling, facing each other. Davien has his powerful arms locked tightly around Devon's neck, and I don't know exactly what Devon would do in response to that.

Mahlia: Davien is a lot stronger and better than you, Devon!

Me: Ah, ok.

Devon: *glares at Mahlia* *twists around so that he's sitting with his back to Davien* *both hands grab Davien's arms to keep him from choking him* *goes back to a kneeling position (they look like overlapping L's, now)* *bends over swiftly, flipping Davien over his back to land in front of him*

Me: So now Devon's kneeling near Davien's head.

Me: I was afraid that would happen.

Davien: *Kicks legs up, and, as he flips over backwards, both his boots hit Devon in the face. Davien lands on his left side, pointing the opposite direction he was before. He rolls up to his knees, ready.*

Devon: *grunts and almost cries out as Davien kicks him in the face* *small trails of blood trickle down his face from by his eye and his mouth* *one eye begins to turn colour* *eyes blaze* *hugs Davien tightly with his arms under Davien's* *tips him over sideways onto his back* *straddles him, punching Davien's face hard, over and over*

Me: (@Aemi) You wouldn't happen to do some kind of martial art, would you?

Me: I am so slaking off in character introductions today...

Gavin: What's going on?

Me: Devon and Davien are fighting...

Gavin: That doesn't solve much.

Me: Oh stop complaining!

Terminus: *watches fight*

Me: Out of curiosity...who's winning?

Terminus: The things you don't know amaze me....

Me: Hey! I am trying here! Not my fault I got all caught up in the last minute! *whacks Terminus with book*

Terminus: Ow! How dare yo-

Me: Blabedy, Blabedy, blah.

Terminus: *scowls*

Me (@Raven): No. None at all.

Davien: *Hooks legs under Devon's arms, over Devon's shoulders, then brings them down, forcing him onto his back.*

Fallen: What are the resources of this rebellion of ours?

Ark: Shouldn't you have asked that before you agreed to join?

Fallen: Shut up, Ariel.

Ark: *sigh*

Me: (@Aemi) Wow. You sure sound like you have.

Devon: *grabs Davien's legs* *arches back* *flips over so that he is on top* (so now Davien is almost hugging Devon's waist with his legs) *strong punch to Davien's stomach* *uses his elbow to press on a pressure point on one of Davien's legs, pushing it down* *kneels on it with one knee* *brings the other leg through* *puts his weight on Davien by laying on him* *takes his leg off Davien* *puts his forearm on Davien's neck* *puts weight in it, choking him*

Me: So now they look like a V with their heads at the point. Devon's chest is on Davien's, holding him down. I have personally found this to be a difficult guard to get out of.

Davien: *Shoves both thumbs into Devon's eyes.*

Me: That's a little vicious, Davien.

Mahlia: No it's not. Devon's a bad guy. And Davien has to defend himself!

Me: I know.

Davien: *with a grunt, he rolls them both over. They are now on their sides. Then Davien curls his legs up, braces his feet against Devon's stomach, and pushes hard.*

Devon: *quickly shuts eyes as he sees Davien's thumbs coming* Yow! *grabs Davien's legs and twists, spinning him onto his stomach* *delivers a hard kick to the back of Davien's head, stunning him* *straddles Davien's back, pinning his arms beside his body* *briefly wonders what Terminus is thinking* *decides to concentrate*

Davien: *Groans, lifts head slightly*

Mahlia: Davien! *starts to run to him, but Brian holds her back*

Davien: *Tucks legs suddenly underneath himself. He is now kneeling, doubled over, with Devon on his back. Quickly, Davien throws himself over backwards, landing hard on top of Devon. Leaps to his feet.*

Me: You're strong, Davien. Are you okay?

Davien: *touches the back of his head, winces* I'm fine.

Devon: Oooooooff! *winces as Davien lands on Devon's broken ribs* *scrambles up* *delivers a hard roundhouse kick to Davien's torso, followed by a crescent kick to his head* *hook punch followed by an uppercut* *another roundhouse kick* *slips quickly behind Davien and puts him in a choking headlock*

Davien: *Face turns red. He grits his teeth, bends over, and flips Devon over his shoulder onto the ground in front of him. Then he kneels with his knee on Devon's neck.*

Brian: Evidently I'm holding Mahlia back...

Me: I didn't know you were...okay. Sure. I can go with that.

Brian: It's probably best if you just watch, Miss Mahlia.

Devon: *face goes red in turn* *chokes* *punches Davien hard in the stomach* *bends at the waist, hooking his leg around Davien's neck* *pulls, toppling him* *grabs Davien's arm tightly* (imagine Devon's legs: one on top of Davien's neck, one on his chest) *pushes hips up, putting strain on Davien's arm, causing great pain* *tweaks, breaking it*

*Davien and Mahlia both scream.*

*Brian holds Mahlia back again.*

Me: One question. Which arm was it?

Me: I'm imagining the left one, but you can pick. And you can feel free to really hurt/kill Devon if you find yourself in a good position to do so.

Brian: I can't keep holding you back. *sits Mahlia on chair* Emuna. Keep her still.

Emuna: So gentlemanlike of you, Brian...

Brian: *sigh* Please?

Emuna: *smiles* My pleasure! *strolls up to Mahlia* It's best for you stay put...otherwise I'll have to resort to more forceful methods to keep you in this chair.

Brian: *walks up to Devon and Davien* You two have one post to sort this out. Get to sorting. And if Davien ends up dead. *glares at Devon.

Me: Would've gotten Brian involved, but I didn't want to mess up anything going on here...

Devon: *shakes head* Terminus won't be pleased, Brian. And you would do what to us if we didn't listen?

Brian: Well....I'd start with this. *pulls Davien off Devon and throws him towards Gavin*

Gavin: *falls when hit with Davien* *screams at Brian* I'M JUST YOUR LANDING PILLOW NOW?!

Brian: And than probably do this... *steps on Devon's arm, breaking his forearm* and than this. *grabs Devon and holds him in tight choke hold, being sure to restrict Devon's arms with his right arm and Devon's legs with his legs*

Me: That might be a little choppy...my bad.

Me: Sorry, Aemi, I thought Brian would just say what he'd do. Or did I accidentally use up the one post? Sorry!

Devon: *bites back a scream* *struggles hard* *reaches into his pocket with difficulty* *stabs Brian's leg with a pen* *face goes blue* *goes limp*

Brian: *stops choking Devon and gets up, almost falls because of stab wound but manages to catch self*

Me: I didn't expect Brian to do that either...he usually isn't this violent....

Brian: *Walks over to Emuna* I think you can let Mahlia go now

Emuna: *nods* Are you alright?

Brian: *smiles faintly* Yup! Just...another... *bends down to pull pen out of leg, pulls pen out* Scratch.

Emuna: *hands on hips* Mm-hmm....

Devon: *lies limp*

Me: *wonders when Terminus will show up*

Davien: *groans* Uh, thanks, Brian. *stands up, picks up his sword, slides it into sheath*

Mahlia: Davien, you're hurt. Here. *stands up out of chair* Sit down here.

Davien: I'm fine. *collapses into the chair*

Mahlia: Is there a doctor somewhere around here?

Me: Oh my! I totally forgot about Terminus. *head/desk*

Terminus: *scowls at Devon's limp form* You were beaten by a boy! Brian no less! Ha! You are not worthy of being my ally, you aren't worthy the target I use for archery. Pathetic.

Me: Harsh....

Terminus: What happened to you creating me?

Me: Yah, but you're still harsh...

Terminus: *ignores me and glares at Brian*

Brian: *looks up at Terminus* Before you even think about it. No.

Emuna: I'm not a doctor...but I know the basics for nursery.

Me: *points to Aris*
Alexis: *comes over with a glass of water* I don't know anything about broken arms, but some water will help.

Devon: *unconscious*

Mahlia: So, Emuna, can you set a broken arm?

Davien: *lets head fall back against chair back, right on the spot where Devon kicked him* *groans again* Who won, Terminus? *takes the glass*

Gavin: *walks up to Devon* Ah...stupid new personality. *kicks Devon in the chest* HEY! THERE'S A DRAGON ABOUT TO EAT YOU! WAKE UP!

Me: Yes...Gavin's new personality makes him Sooooooo much nicer...

Gavin: I could've just left him you know.

Emuna: *looks at Davien's* Well...that is definitely broken...

Gavin: Stating the obvious today, Emuna?

Emuna: *scowls* Well, I was hoping it was just dislocated!

Brian: Haha...that would be nice. *limps over to Davien*

Emuna: You shouldn't be walking either, Brian...

Brian: I'm fine.

Emuna: You're lucky I have more pressing issues... *takes out small bottle of water* Yes, Mahlia. I believe I can place a splint on his arm. *hands water to Brian* Drink it, or I will force you to.

Brian: *takes water* No need to get violent... *drinks*

Emuna: *carefully puts a splint on Davien's broken arm* That might hurt for a little bit, but it will be better soon.

Me: Let's not go into the details of broken arm care...I'm foggy in that area.

Me: Haha...I new I was forgetting a character...

Terminus: Who won?! Ha! I won! I got to watch the brat get beat up and you were just a bonus! This was great! It was as if I were watching a show set up perfectly for me!

Me: You are evil!

Terminus: Thank you.

Me: That is not a complement.

Devon: *is actually unconscious*
