I said drapes, but that's because I mixed them up with tapestries. I didn't know where Jonathan planted his pile of firecrackers so I warned him not to set the drapes on fire this time.

I never said anything about firecrackers. Just fireworks.

I also said, before I lit the fireworks, that they were in a field where they could do no harm.
