This might need a bit of explaining before I ask. When I first joined, my main purpose in joining was so I could better my writing. It's been really fun here, and I've learned a lot already. But I noticed that I'm not quite looking for topics that I can use to improve. I have found some, but I wanted to focus my need here.

So, my question is, what are some good (basic or advanced) tips for writing? Anything from grammar and spelling to character relationships (MC to villain; sub-MCs to MC; etc.). Are there any topics here that would be useful? I'm just looking for lots of tips and tricks of the writing craft. :)

Slight bit confused, I am. :) Are you asking us to post general tips in this thread? I'm not sure that would be wise. I think everyone would get more benefit out of the material if you started individual threads with questions.

Or are you asking for links to existing threads of writing knowledge?

I second this Q. :)

I was thinking more the former. But if that wouldn't be a good idea, then never mind. I'll try to think of questions for individual threads. I didn't really have any originally, but I'll think of some. I'm sorry for the confusion.

You're fine. :) And for once, I'm in a confusing situation, and not confused!

Haha. I find that I'm usually the one confused. :)

'Zaright. You're perfectly welcome to have a random tip thread, but I fear it shan't get very much attention. You will get more advice (and more people will benefit from the advice) if you start separate threads. :D

I for one have tons of tips lurking in my writer brain... but I have trouble thinking of them out-of-context. :?
