Arionwyn: I knew. Smoky has a tendency to get out of hand, as you very well saw . . .

Me: Maybe I should bring in some more creatures. So far I only have dragons here . . . but what about all these dogs and cats? *scratches head* I could bring in one of the Haicai . . .

Arionwyn, Earis and Aaron: No.

Aaron: If you recall, I have scars to show from our last encounter.

Arionwyn: As do I. *pretends to limp around, grinning sheepishly*

Me: Alright, fine. How about some of my characters that were here before you guys came along?

Earis: *raises eyebrow*

Aaron: *looks scared* You wrote fantasy before we were here?

Me: Well, sort of. The animals talked, okay? Does that make you happy? *yells* Come on in, you guys!

Five minutes later:

Arionwyn: *taps foot impatiently*

Me: I'll go find them. *sigh*

*A minute later, I come back in, carrying a cinnamon-colored wolf cub by the scruff of her neck.*

Me: Ancha got distracted.

Ancha: *growls* Put me down!

*Arola, Ameoch, Anina, Nam, and Nalor enter behind me.*

Me: These are some of my previous characters. Back when my writing was extremely lousy instead of just plain lousy . . . Guys, that's not to say you're lousy. The writing needs quite a bit of work, that's all.

*Nalor chuckles*

Me: This is Ameoch, leader of the pack. *A pitch black wolf with a white collar (not a dog collar - it's the natural color of his fur) steps forward and bows gracefully*
Arola, his mate, was my first real character. *Arola swishes her tail modestly*
Ancha and Nalor are her cubs. *Ancha squirms out of my grip and lands ungracefully on the floor. Her brother coughs to hide a laugh*
Anina was Ameoch's daughter before Arola showed up, *Anina smiles warmly* and Nam is her mate. *Nam bows his head, then peers out over the room with unseeing eyes*

Me: *aside* Nam is blind.

Nam: Anina, what do you see?

Anina: Many, many people, and some strange people-looking things that I've never seen before. I think something is wrong with their ears.

*Aaron glares*

Anina: *ignores him* There are also some rather strange creatures . . . several huge lizards, a huge snake, a lion-bird, and . . .*cocks her head* a horse with a horn.

Nam: Author, what kind of place have you brought us to?

Me: Just chill. Everybody here is friendly . . . *sidewise glance at Smoky* I think.

Silvergold - Whew, I certainly feel at home now. *Bows head to Ameoch and Arola* It's a pleasure to meet you, Alphas.

Arctax - Uh-oh.

Azura - More canines? We can hardly manage our own wolf!

Jade - Chill out, will you?

Niama - Considering we come from an ice climate, that shouldn't be hard to do.

Silvergold - Hahaha. Funny. Really funny. I am surrounded by felines with a warped sense of humor.

*A white dragon appears out of nowhere*
Thysal - Tell me about it. Jade primarily, has a weird sense of humor.

Silvergold -Aiiee! Ice lizard! Dragons appearing out of nowhere! *Takes cover behind Arctax, who jumps in front of Azura*

Me - Sorry, I should have introduced her, instead of letting her scare you. This is Thysal, an Ice Dragon from Jade's territory. She looks like a typical dragon, but is white with a blue silvery tint. Her scales look rough, like ice shards, and catch light like crystal. Her eyes are silver.

Silvergold - I don't need another dragon, especially one that isn't seperated from me by post margins.

Thysal - (sarcastically) Thanks for the description, I didn't notice the way I look.

Arctax - Oh boy. All we need. A smart aleck dragon.

*Jade, Thysal, and Azura glare at him. He ignores them*

Arctax - Goldfeather, it would be a pleasure to hunt with a skilled predator like you. My primary method for hunting flying creatures such as the elk involve a recurve bow and arrows. The game on the ground is another matter, though.

Azura - Yeah, tell me about it.

Niama - She is slightly jealous. When we met Arctax, she couldn't hunt worth anything.

*Azura winces. Arctax puts an arm about her shoulders*

Arctax - It doesn't really matter.

Thysal - Who are all of the two legged creatures with the funny ears?

Niama - Didn't we go over this before?

*Silvergold hides a snicker. Azura barely prevents from laughing*

Jade - Don't mind her, anyone. Last thing we need are offended elves. Or anyone else for that matter.

Thysal - Elves?

Jade- Sigh

Turwaithel: Don't worry, Thysal. We're just like humans.

Justis: These dragons are awesome :D

Me: Yes, but I'm not to give you one, so don't get your hopes up.

Justis: Yeah, yeah, I know.

Me: *Nods* I was hoping you guys would feel more at home if I brought in more creatures.

Ameoch: A pleasure for me as well, Silvergold.

Aaron: Who's offended?

Earis: *dry laugh* Certainly not me.
Thysal, it is good to meet you. My dragon, as well, is an ice dragon, which works out well because Smoky is a fire dragon and she can freeze all his flames before he hurts anyone.

Arionwyn: He wouldn't hurt anyone! :?

Earis: I don't think the Andunian soldiers or Iri would agree with you on that.

Smoky:  Anyway, thanks, Justis. I've gotten quite used to my awesomeness . . .

Arionwyn:

Me: Ok, Earis, I think it's time to go. You too, Sky. *sad sniffle*

Earis: You mean . . .

Me: Yep. Don't say another word, I feel bad enough about it already.

Sky: Oh, so it's really going to happen? Iri's going to . . .

Me: Just shut up already before you give away the plot!! *storms off with a bewildered pair in tow*

Earis: Uh, bye, everyone!

Sky: May we meet again where the winds are calm, the sun shines brightly and the streams run cool.

Aaron: *grimace* Boy is the Author cross.

Arionwyn: Try not to annoy her, or you'll end up dead . . .

Aaron: You mean, like Eari -- oops. I didn't say anything.

Arionwyn: Yeah. Jerk.

Arctax - Earis and Sky? You mean . . .

Jade - Don't say it, or we'll all get in trouble! Yeesh.

Niama - (sarcastically to Arctax and Jade) Thanks for making me feel better, you two.

Azura - Can we change the subject?

Niama - Please.

Arctax - Don't worry, Aaron. You aren't the only one with an irritable author. You've seen me getting close to being written to death a few times.

Silvergold - Interesting way of putting it.

Azura - Anyway, I was reading some of Lady Eruwaedhiel's writing in story excepts (I got left on here on my own). You both are totally awesome. Especially Aaron. But keep in mind, I only say that because I haven't seen a lot of story with Arionwyn in it.

Arctax - I don't know whether to be jealous or laugh at that statement.

Azura - Oh get over yourself.

Silvergold - *Snicker*
(Arctax glares at her, and she has a sudden coughing fit. Thysal lands behind her without her knowing it)

Thysal- ROOOOAAARR!!!!

Silvergold - AIIEEE! (Leaps five feet into the air and takes cover behind Jade).

Thysal - (laughing) Oh wow, I can't believe you didn't see that coming!

Arctax- This is what keeps life interesting.

Thysal - Smoky, do you do this sort of thing?

Smoky: All the time.

Arionwyn: Don't I know it. And I'm sure you'll think I'm awesome too after reading more about me. *huff* I would like to be left on here by myself for once though . . . that could be fun.

Me: Not a chance.

Aaron: What did she say about me? *glances up at the previous post, then shuffles his feet*

Arionwyn: He doesn't know what to do with a compliment.

Aaron: *blushes, then changes the subject* Arctax, I've been pretty close to death a few times . . . but the Author seems content to make me suffer silently. I've been flogged, gotten numerous scars and been knocked unconscious more times than I can remember . . .

Arionwyn: Yeah, life is never boring with these two around. Especially when you throw my horse, Spear, and his horse, Cascade, into the mix.

*a few moments pause*

Arionwyn: *sniff* I miss Earis.

Smoky: I miss Sky.

Aaron: Yeah.

*awkward silence*

Thysal - I enjoyed meeting Earis and Sky. I wish they didn't have to go. *Sigh*

Azura - (Changing subject) Arionwyn, your author needs to post more of your story on here (there's a hint!). I'm trying to get mine to post some of our story, but for some reason, she claims that the beginning part is boring . . .

Jade - I wonder where she got that idea.

Arctax - Aaron, maybe I should take a tip from you and stop annoying my author. I mean, being attacked by a rogue dragon, clawed across the face by a polar bear, shot with arrows until I'm just about dead, and then battling a huge Leopard makes you wonder if I take things too far.

Azura - Maybe you shouldn't talk so much.

Me- I really need to tone all of you down. Arctax, you aren't nearly this vocal in the story. Silvergold isn't so hyper, and Jade doesn't have such a dry sense of humor.

Azura - What about me?

Me - I'm working on that.

Silvergold - Hmm. Well, at least things can't get that much weirder.

Me - Want to bet?

Arctax - Uh-oh

Me - Arctax, about that huge leopard which tore you up . . .

Azura - Not Zanraz! Oh no.

Me - Maybe next time I'll turn him loose.

Thysal - This will make for an interesting post. See you later, Smokey and everyone else.

So... here are a few of my main characters from my fantasy story. One of them (Tanith) is not a key character, really, but he just told me that he really wants to be, so I believe that I will find a way for him to be one.

Me: I think we jumped in quite late on this conversation...

Anissa: Yes, I must agree with you. I hate to be so rude as to jump in on a conversation that is not ours.

Tarin: You ladies are always so concerned about your "appearance" to others.... you really should just let it fly (makes flying motions with his hands)

Tanith: My son, you really should learn how to be completely...

Tarin: let me guess..... serious?

Tanith: Yes, that is precisely what I was going to say.

Anissa: But Sir Nothgon, if Tarin were constantly serious, who would cheer my heart when it is sad?

Me: She's right Tanith...

Tanith: It's Sir Tanith...

Me: Well.... sorry.... I created you, you know

Tanith: I am well aware of that, but you also created me to be very high in rank and, therefore, you are still required to treat me with respect!

Tarin: Father! You really shouldn't speak to Kaitland that way!!! She is a lady you know, and you should be most grateful that she will be giving you a more crucial role!

Anissa: I could not have put it any better, myself!

Tanith: Well! What would you know about it Tarin??? You were created with a grand role!!! You get to....

Me: Okay... now that's enough... I don't want you to ruin the story...

(Anissa and Tarin blush)

Tarin: Yes, Father, we could never let you do that... and I am too, quite serious when I am about the Great King's business. When I am not, I like to enjoy life!

Anissa: As you should. Life is not mean to be constant sorrow, as I have found. I do so wish that Betina could be here... can she be in the next interview???

Me: Well, of course! Okay... that about wraps it up... I'll let you guys get back to whatever it was you were doing...

One day I will have to introduce April and her mom Denise, the other main characters of the other side of Anissa's story. Of course... I have to develope that story a LOT more...

Azura gracefully bows, sweeping her tail in an elegant fashion.
Azura - A pleasure to meet you, Anissa, Tarin, and Tanith. Welcome to the post where we can actually do things instead of being discussed about.

Silvergold - That makes no sense whatsoever.

Arctax - It does when you read it slower.

Jade - Sigh.

Niama - Forgive them, they are young. Although Jade is slightly more mature . . .
But anyway, how are you all connected to each other? I think I see something between Anissa and Tarin, maybe, but I am not sure. It isn't my place. But if nothing else, Arctax and Azura . . .
(The snow leopards blush)

Arctax inturrupts - But anyway, don't feel bad about accidentally giving away the storyline, we find ourselves doing that. A lot.

Silvergold - Snicker

Thysal - Hmm. I find Canine creatures slightly more immature then the normal animals our Creator made.
(Silvergold glares at her)

Arctax - And dragons aren't?

Jade - Oh boy. I can see this turning into a full fledged sparring session.

Azura - Good thought, I think I'll be going . . . *walks towards exit, but is stopped by a roar coming from the doorway. She retreats* On the other hand, I recognize that voice, and I think I'll stay here.

(They hear the roar again, and a large golden Leopard enters. Description: Flame colored eyes, muscular, and obviously arrogant and cruel)

Arctax - (growls) Zanraz.

Jade - I don't need this.

Zanraz - Azura, I didn't think I'd see you again so soon. I also didn't expect you to run off when I conquered Ilaria. Might have seen it coming, though.

Azura - Watch what you say, evil one! And the retreat is only temporary. As soon as the author gets back to work, you might find yourself displaced sooner then you think.
(Zanraz snarls)

Arctax - Watch it, leopard.

Thysal - Ok, I think its time for us to hustle out of here. This could really turn into a battle. Come on, back to work, lets go!

Ok I just hope I didn't unnessisarily bore anyone here. I just felt the need to introduce another character, while welcoming Lady Shanai -Irisis's characters. Thanks for sticking with me. :D

Me: Okay... this time I only have with me Tarin, Anissa, and now the cook, Betina!

Anissa: I am SO happy to have Betina with us!!! You would have made everything much more fun in our last little "session"...

Betina: Well, I am honored that you would 'ave me 'ere...

Tarin: And we are most honored by your prescense.

Anissa: *hiding mouth with hand and whispering* Sir Tanith had a long discussion with his son after last time... *chuckles*

Tarin: I am glad I am a source of amusment to you...

Betina: Well if you ain't wantin to be one, don't always be spoutin out jokes like a-

Me: That's enough, Betina.... I know you aren't too fond of Tarin, but you musn't go on like that...

Anissa: Yes, dear Betina. He has done nothing to you... now to the subject at hand. Thank you for the warm welcome...

Tarin: Yes, it was most comforting..

Anissa: Comforting??

Betina: I told you... e's a bit off 'is rocka'.....

Me: That's enough... I believe he is referring to your apprehension in the previous post... about barging in...

Tarin: That's it precisely...

Anissa: Anyway, if you really want to know... Tanith is Tarin's father. Tanith is one of the twelve Pure Knights. Tarin was my first friend, and he also was key in getting me rescued...

Tarin: How could I leave a beautiful lady like you to suffer under Lord Morgman?

Anissa: I was hardly even pretty, I was disgusting!!!

Tarin: But I saw the potential!!!

Me: *whispers behind hand* Way further in the story (in the part that is not even written) Tarin and Anissa fall for each other... but that WAY further into the story... maybe even in the sequel...

Anissa: What was that... did I hear something about me???

Tarin: Why would she be talking about YOU, dear Anissa?

Anissa: Uh... *rolls her eyes*

Betina: *glares at Tarin* you keep them dirty eyes to yourself... you lit'l mongrel, you....

Tarin: WHAT??!!! I was not looking at her out of anything more than utter respect!!!

Anissa: Betina, I think you are a bit mistaken.... I suppose it won't be as fun as I thought...

Me: I think it is time to take our departure for the present time.... we'll be back later... I may leave Betina in the kitchen if she doesn't behave herself...

Betina: What did I do???

Me: Let's go... back to the kitchen *rolls eyes in exasperation*

Me: I would like you all to meet my main characters. Unfortunately only two are available to talk right now. Which is rather unusual for them. The first... well, perhaps I should let them explain things themselves.

Dreamer: Hi. My name is Dreamer. Well... it's not actually Dreamer. That just what everyone from this world knows me by. I discovered another world and...

Me: Dreamer... don't give anything away remember.

Dreamer: I know... I know.

Michael: Busted!

Dreamer: *glares at Michael* Anyway, some think I'm the answer to a legend and am supposed to become a hero called the Protector. They were surprised the High King chose a girl, but I showed them. Of course, I could never seem to keep the Prince under control.

Michael: Maybe it was the High King's wish.

Dreamer: But not your fathers!

Michael: You always have to bring up that, don't you Protector?

Me: *Clears throat* Michael, it's your turn.

Michael: My name is Michael and *grumbles something to himself*

Dreamer: I don't think they heard you, Michael.

Michael: My father just so happens to be the king. There I said it, are you happy Protector? Anyway, I travel across the valley with the Protector. Most the time we just try to stay alive. Which I must admit works better when we're together.

Dreamer:That's what you think.

Michael: You'd be dead by now if it wasn't for me.

Dreamer: So would you. Besides it's mostly you that gets us into trouble. I'd be better off by myself. You know I'm better at archery and swordplay.

Michael: That's what you think!

Me: That's enough guys! Enough said! I think they get the picture! *whispers* To tell you the truth, they normally get along much better than this.

Me: I find that characters usually fight more when we try to get them to perform for others. Don't know why.

Arionwyn: We're showing off. As usual. Hey, Dreamer and Michael. Glad to meet you. :)

Aaron: What do you mean, we're showing off? Don't you mean you?

Arionwyn: Yeah, whatever.

Me: Case in point.

Smoky: Arionwyn, do you want me to roast him?

Arionwyn:  No, I think I'll keep him around for a while. He's usually the one who rescues me when I get in trouble, remember?

Smoky: Oh. Yeah. Except that right now, it looks like you're doing the rescuing . . . considering that in the story he's lying unconscious on a stone floor and you're trying to wake him up.

Aaron: Well, this isn't the story.

Arctax - Unconcious on a stone floor? Interesting. In our story, I just met Azura and Niama . . .
Azura - It's told from my perspective.
Arctax - Yes and anyway, I was checking out what looked like a campsite, and I walked underneath a tree 'cause some tracks lead there, and next thing I know, something lands on my back--
Azura - And gets flipped over your shoulder and pinned to the ground with a knife at my neck. I know.
Silvergold - Ouch. So much for romantic.
Arctax (glares): Yeah, sure. Anyway, on here, I'm surprised to find my shoulders still hurting.
Silvergold - Someone needs to go on a diet.
Thysal - Wolf, be quiet!
Silvergold - Sheesh.
Me - Ok, whew, I'm here. What happened?
Jade - Where were you?
Me - Got tied up on iTunes. Were you guys good?
Silvergold - Yeah sure. Just don't scroll up.
Jade - Ok, lets change the subject. Dreamer and Michael, very nice to meet you. About the arguing, thankfully, we don't argue this much on the storyline. On off hours, well . . .
Thysal - Lets not go there. By the way, Smokey, are you always getting in trouble as well?
Me - Why did I make a dragon?
Thysal - Just can't live with us, can't live without us, huh?
Arctax - Exactly!

Me: I made sure I didn't bring Betina... that cook... she's sweet as can be, until Tarin enters the room...

April: I did notice that as I read Anissa's Journal... she mentioned that Betina was not terrible fond of him.

Me: Oh, I forgot to mention that I now have with me April and her mom Denise.

Denise: Hi! This is such an odd place, here.... but I am delighted to me you all! Is it really safe to be here with.... uh... dragons and the like?

Me: I am pretty sure you will be perfectly fine, so long as you offend no one.

Denise: *wide eyed* what do you think would happen?

Me: I am quite sure I don't know

April: You'll probably get eaten *looks spookily towards her mother*

Me: all right, that's enough... I have to get going for now...

April: but I didn't introduce myself!!!

Me: yeah, you decided to gab about all other things!!!

Denise: Well... I didn't. I would love the oppurtunity to introduce myself.

Me: I'm coming back pretty soon. Today in fact... you can come with me!

April: I suppose so....

Thysal - It's ok, Denise. Actually, I'm not that ferocious, though other people might think so ;) . I can't answer for any of my feline and canine friends.
(flaps her wings and swishes her tail)

Azura - And as for offending anyone . . . well, despite of all she says, Silvergold is still around.

Silvergold - (glares) Thanks. What can I say for snow leopards with temperment issues?
(Arctax covers a laugh)

Arctax - Sure, whatever you say, wolf. But anyway, offending anyone is not really a big deal, unless it's done on purpose.

Silvergold - Whatever you say, cat.

Azura - This arguing gets old really fast.

Aaron: sheesh.

Alyse: Really? A dungeon? Sounds interesting.

Lindsey: Yeah. Unless you're there.

Alyse: (ignoring Lindsey) How did you get there, Aaron?

Thysal - Well, Smokey, I guess I'm glad to not have a rider currently . . . These humans can get really tempermental.
(glares at author)

Arctax - How come Thysal always talks first? But anyway, that dungeon thing sounds interesting, Aaron. You seem to be getting the worst of treatment by your author as well . . .

Me - What is the matter with you guys today? What have I done today?

Azura - Other than drive a story character insane, not much.

Me - No giving plots away! *Sighs again* Does any other author have this problem with rebellious characters?

Arctax - You haven't seen anything yet.

Azura -

Aaron: I second that. *phew* Glad to get out of there.

Me: *gritted teeth* Aaron!!

Aaron: *cringes* They knew we were going to escape, anyway! The story couldn't just end in a dungeon, now could it?

Me: *sigh*

Smoky: Thysal, you don't have a Rider? Hm. I'm told my mother was a wild dragon, but I never met her. Domestic life is all I've ever known. Glad I'm not in a cage, like some dragons, though.

Arionwyn: I met her . . . and she cared enough about you to channel her remaining strength into a beacon to guide me to you.

Smoky: Aww. :D

Turwaithel: There is absolutely no telling how he would have got there... My author is wanting to make a smart-aleck comment right now, but I won't let her. Something along the lines of "Well, I guess somebody doesn't like him and wanted to put him in there." *eyeroll*
She wanted me to tell you it would have been funnier if I had actually let her talk, and that she's not actually as mean as I made her sound....

Azura - I know how you feel Turwaithel; my owner's some sort of smart aleck too.

Me - And you aren't? That's the first I've heard of it.

Silvergold - Actually, I am.

Thysal - Really? I didn't notice. Canines, *snort*.

Silvergold - (glares at Thysal) I sincerely hope that you aren't in the story.

Arctax - (reading the finished half of the story) Actually, she is. The author opened a spot in here for her.

Thysal - Hah! (to everyone else) So other then Smokey, are there any other dragons in here, or are we just about it?

Silvergold - I wish.

Azura - (Glares at her friends) OK lets change subject. Aaron, we would all like to know how you got there, if it's ok with your author. They tend to be touchy about story give aways. (Gives Ciela Rose a pointed look)

Aaron: Well . . .*gives me a pleading look*

Me: Alright. Fine. Give away the plot. *huff*

Aaron: Thank you. *ahem* I'm not entirely comfortable with this.

Arionwyn: *chuckles* Want me to tell them?

Aaron: Please. Be my guest.

Arionwyn: Well, it's kind of complicated.

Me: Just do it already.

Arionwyn: Fine. Aaron is a Dragonrider (I didn't know it)and so am I and Dragonriders are very powerful and we were both wanted in Andun because they wanted to 'persuade' us to join them and we were captured (because we got separated from our party in the mountains and Elric - I mean Iri - caught up with us killed Earis and took Aaron and me captive). And then when we got to the dungeon ... *takes a deep breath* they took me to a cell and tried to 'persuade' Aaron first and then they brought him back to the Dragonrider part of the dungeon and threw him in a cell next to me and he passed out and I was trying to wake him up. *pants*

Aaron: Wow.

Me: Did any of you understand that?

Azura - Highly interesting.  Yes, I did understand that whole thing.  Poor Aaron.
Arctax - (shudders) It's awful, the tortures certain insane creatures can create for their own pleasure.  When they call it persuasion, then you know it's bad.
Silvergold - So what's your problem with the whole thing? (Arctax glares at her) Oh right.  Firsthand experience.  Gotcha.
Thysal - Hmm.  I don't know what to say.  Part of me sympathizes with Aaron, and the other part wants to laugh at Silvergold, and the last wants to ask more about Smoky.
Azura - Life is tough.  Get used to it.  Especially with our author at the controls.
Arctax - You are so encouraging . . . But anyway, enough with us. Is there anything else we can know, or will your author object?

Aaron: Arctax, looks like we're both scapegoats for our Authors.

Arionwyn: Don't forget Earis!

Smoky: Yeah. And Sky.

Arionwyn: *changes subject* Thysal, what do you want to know about Smoky? Don't sympathize with Aaron, he gets far too much sympathy as it is.

Aaron: *glares, then sighs* Arctax, what else did you want to know? How we got out?

Azura - Ok, we're back on. Whew, that part was painful.

Arctax - Tell me about it. A word for the wise; never face insane rock dragons in an gladiator arena, it's just not smart. But anyway, Aaron, I quite agree with you. Especially after that last section my friends and I went through, and I came out on the worst end. How did you get out of prison?

Silvergold - Arctax, as long as you get the worst of everything and I don't, we're fine with that. But anyway, Arionwyn, what were you occupied with while Aaron was being . . . . persuaded for something?

Thysal - Another of those frightening vigils, I guess. Unless you got tortured. About Smoky . . . . Where did you join up with your human? And is there a discription of you which I missed?

Silvergold - Very likely. You could't find your claw if it was in front of your face.
Thysal snarls.

Azura - Hey, simmer down, both of you.

Arctax - What is it with canines and dragons? They're like cats and dogs.

Silvergold - Or dogs and lizards.

Thysal - I object to that remark very strongly. (Crouches for a spring)

Azura - Alright, I think it's time to go!

Aaron: That part's complicated too. You see... there was a spell on the dungeon that disabled our magic as long as we had no hope.

Arionwyn: Despair is a form of chains. *shudder*

Aaron: Aaaand...well...it's kind of hard to explain. I stared singing, (mentally, the guards couldn't hear me)

Me: *interrupts* yes, I know it's strange (and not very original either.) Dragonriders can mentally communicate with each other.

Aaron: *ahem*

Me: Ah. Yes. Carry on.

Aaron: All the Riders joined in. Somehow the hope that was conveyed by the message of the song broke the spell and set the Riders free...and the magic wasn't blocked anymore so Wright killed the guards and we got out of there by way of a grate in one of the cells.

Arionwyn: Silvergold, I was mostly occupied with crying in the corner of my cell...I missed everyone so much.

Smoky: No, the Author didn't describe me. *snorts* Sometimes she forgets that her readers don't live in her head.

Me: Yeah, well...

Arionwyn: May I?

Me: Go ahead.

Arionwyn: Well, he's black all over except for a small diamond-shaped patch of blue scales between his front legs. He has beeeeeeautiful blue eyes...

Smoky:Oh, brother.

Arionwyn: and a rather droll nature. *looks at him out of the corner of her eye*

Me: Oh, I don't know...BECAUSE YOU ARE THE MAIN CHARACTER!!!

Matt: (drooling) draaaggoonnsss...... :D :D :D :D :D

Phillip: For some reason, our author decided not to have dragons in our story, but I have read about them in many books. Of course, I'm not sure how accurate they were since they were only stories from our world. Fantastic creatures, dragons are. Thysal, since you are an ice dragon I'm assuming you don't breathe fire. And about how big are you (Smoky can answer this question too.) Using arithmetic, I have found that a dragons wings must be significantly longer than the body. Or you could use levitational abilities.

Griffin: Okay, what in the world did he just say?

Me: I'm not sure...

Thysal - Well, I must say I'm highly flattered.  No, I don't breath fire, and I'm not that big for an ice dragon, just twice as tall as Arctax here.

Silvergold - It doesn't take much to flatter you, you frigid lizard.  And Arctax is tall for a snow leopard.  See, take a look.

Arctax - I feel like an inanimate object right now.
(Azura snickers)

Thysal - So, Author, have you decided whether or not there are more dragons in the books, and whether or not I breath ice?

Me - Sorry, I have more important things to think about.  Like, what do I do with the final battle?  How do I handle romance?  And do snow leopards kiss?

(Azura and Arctax look awkwardly at each other).

Azura - Umm, well . . . . We're felines, right?  I don't think that would work.

(She hears giggles behind her and whirls around.  Thysal and Silvergold look innocent.)

Arctax - *Cough cough*

Jade - Ok, that was really embarrassing.  But anyway, Matt and Griffin, it's good to see you both.  I admit I snuck on and read your earlier posts, both of you have interesting personalities.

Silvergold - Especially Smily, there.  Oh by the way, Lady Eruwaedhiel, can your wolf pack tell me the storyline from their story?

Arionwyn: Wow, nice nickname for Matt. It might stick. :D :D

Smoky:Glad to hear that you like dragons.

Me: I could bring in some others if you want...hmmmm which to use.

Aaron: You can't use Snow, remember?

Me: Oh, yeah. Obvious reasons. :(

Chayten: I could bring Flame.

Me: How'd you get in here? I didn't give you permission. >:(

Chayten: *cringes*

Me: Alright, you can stay. Bring Flame while you're at it. *sigh*

*Chayten's eyes light up, and he scurries away to find his dragon.*

Arola: Well, Silvergold (interesting name, by the way) there were actually three stories involving us, if I remember aright. The first involved me stumbling on the pack in the middle of winter, specifically stumbling into Ameoch's cave in the middle of a snowstorm. He didn't take too kindly to that, as I remember. He wasn't always as forgiving as he is now.

*Ameoch looks at the ground*

Arola: I lived with the pack for a few months until a bear nearly killed Ameoch over a fresh kill. The others ran away, but I felt I had to go back and help him. At the end he realized that he loved me and took me as his mate.

Arionwyn and Smoky: Awwww.

*Arola blushes, then continues*

Arola: In the next story, my two cubs were stolen by the Humans, and finally after many adventures were able to find their way back home.

Me: I really can't remember what the third story was about! I'll tell you when I know.

Me: Ciela, the romance aspect is (mainly) why I stuck with humans, elves, etc.

*Aaron raises an eyebrow*

Thysal - Hi again, Smoky.  There's another dragon, other then Snow?  Ooh, I'd like to meet him (her?).

Azura - Hi Chayton!  I have no idea who you are, but I suspect a dragonrider, and I'd love to know more about you.

Silvergold - Interesting story, Arola.  I really like the plotline, you can make a whole series out of it.

Me - Good point Eruwaedhiel.  Personally, I kind of picked animals to avoid romantic topics, but unfortunately, it didn't work that way  .  Anyway, it is just what it is, I guess.

Arctax - Aaron, I am starting to think that you and I are victims for writing experiments by our authors. Do you get that same feeling? It's sort of like the scapegoat thing in a different category.

Azura - Oh, you're loving it.  Get over yourself.

Zanraz - (appears behind Azura) Good day, my friends.  I hope you are all well?  Azura jumps, startled.  Spinning around, she backs away next to Thysal.
Azura - Where did you come from?

Arctax - Zanraz, you know how welcome you aren't.

Zanraz - Who's going to make me leave?  I mean, none of you are able to force me to go.

Thysal - (gets to her feet)  Oh really?  Well, I suggest you haul your little spotted tail out of here, Flameye!

Silvergold - Huh boy.  And they wonder why I'm not very enthusiastic about dragons and felines.

Me - Probably a good reason for it, I agree.Everyone glares at Silvergold and Ciela

Arionwyn: Thysal, it's a him. :D There's actually a lot of dragons in our world...more than ever since we freed about 17 Dragonriders from the dungeon in Andun. *shudders* Nasty place.

Me: Ciela, that's Chayten, not Chayton. :) I'm kind of touchy about my names. His name is actually a variation of the Sioux name Chayton which means Falcon.

*A huge shadow swoops over the ground. A moment later, a medium-sized dragon with shimmering gold scales lands a few yards away (by medium, I mean about 8 ft high at the shoulder.) His Rider, Chayten, dismounts gracefully, his black braid swinging. He wears close-fitting tan breeches with a small hole in the back to accommodate his long tail. A white tunic contrasts sharply with his dark skin (similar to African-American coloring.) His fingers twitch and one hand creeps to the hilt of his sword as he glimpses the sneer on Zanzraz's face. *

Chayten: Yet another villain? There are enough already.

Me: I'd bring in Iri just to make things interesting, but considering the state he's in right now, I'm not sure that's a good idea.

Aaron: *wary glance at Eruwaedhiel* Yes, Arctax, I completely agree with you.

Me: C'mon, why not? Just once.

Aaron, Arionwyn, Smoky, Flame and Chayten: No.

Me: But --

*A tall, fair-haired elf appears from nowhere, his green eyes twinkling with an evil light.*

Iri: Like you can control what she does.

*Aaron's eyes narrow, and he takes a step forward with his sword halfway out of the sheath.*

Me: Quit, you two! Save it for the story. You have a fight coming up.

Arionwyn: I told you this was a bad idea. *takes a closer look at Iri, then her eyebrows shoot up* What happened to your hair?

*Iri fingers what's left of his once-long blond braid with a scowl on his face.*

Iri: None of your business.

Aaron: You cut it, didn't you?

Iri: I said--

Me: Insider's note: I just killed off Iri's dragon, Snowhide. Elves cut their hair short when they mourn. He used to have a braid down to mid-thigh. :(

Thysal - (eyes Iri) Hmm. Not sure I like the look of that guy.

Azura - (Glances first at Zanraz and then at Iri) Oh great. All we need is for these two to get to talking and . . .

Jade - Please. Don't go there.

Arctax - Yeah, really.

Zanraz - (Growls menacingly, yet distainfully at Chayten) Really? I think the results would be interesting, to say the least. Who is this dark tailed being?

Thysal - Hi there, Flame! Nice to meet you. Are you one of Smoky's friends? Oh, love the golden scales, by the way. Chayten, are you an elf too? Or some other type of humanoid?

Silvergold - Wow, growly one minute and gushy the next. That's pretty impressive, ice breath.

Azura - (Casually grabs Silvergold's muzzle) Please, don't offend anyone.

Arctax - I'll bet some characters don't have to deal with this sort of thing. Goofy wolves, icy dragons, and insane leopards. (Dodges a swipe from Zanraz)

Zanraz - You wouldn't be brave enough to say something like that face to face with me.

Arctax - Wanna bet?

Zanraz - Your call, Scarstripe.

(They circle, growling and looking for an opening to spring, and are inturrupted by Thysal strategically placing herself between them)
Thysal - Would you both calm down?

Silvergold - (Goes up and sniffs Iri) I'll bet you're not having a good day, huh? I smell the grief. And a dragon. Dead. Want me to keep going?

Azura - (Pulls the wolf back) Don't go starting another fight. A pair of male leopards and a elf with issues are bad enough as they are.

Silvergold - Hey, the guy needs to loosen up about something. I'm getting to the bottom of this.

Thysal - Yes, well, you're also a nusiance, and Ciela Rose would call your snooping around asking for a plot giveaway.

SIlvergold - Spoilsport.

Azura - By the way, Arionwyn. Does it seem to you like we are the only characters on (including our friends, of course)? Where did everyone else go?

Arctax - (shrugs) Who knows. At least it can't get much weirder on here.

Me - Now your asking for it.

Arctax - Oh no. I just stuck my foot in it, didn't I?

Me - :)

Griffin: (eyes Zanraz and Iri) I think there are enough villains without bringing another.

Me: Oh, no you don't (shouts to the door) Come on in you two.

Two characters enter. One is a girl of about fourteen wearing a green tunic and brown leggings with brown hair. The other is a tall, rough-looking man with tall black boots, tan pants, and a tan leather jacket over a once white shirt with black hair.

Me: Meet Griffin's Aerwythe friend, Tesra, and the slave trader, Raug.

Raug: Many fine looking lads and lasses. I'd bet they'd fetch a fair penny.

Phillip: Don't get started on that.

Tesra: I'd rather not have to help resc...

Me: Ssshhhhh! That hasn't happened yet!

Tesra: Right.

Matt: I'm going to help rescue Griffin and Phillip! :D :) :D

Phillip: Help rescue from what?

Matt: (I clap my hand over his mouth) mmmphfff :D :D  :D

Me: Nothing, nothing...

Raug: Oh, yes it is. I've just captured you.

Griffin: I don't need a rescue.

Raug: Oh, yeah, that's because there ain't gonna be no rescue.

Griffin: (takes his spear off his back) Let's go, old man.

Raug: (draws sword) Whenever you want.

Me: Whoah, settle down.

Tesra: Really Griffin, if you want to impress me...

Griffin: I'm not trying to impress you.

Me: Okay, that's enough! Sorry I couldn't bring the Gryphin.

Rhavaniel: I will have to say I do not like this "Raug" character. My situation is too much like slavery itself, and anyone who would dare buy and sell humans --or any other humanoid race, for that matter-- like animals.. *shakes head*

Me: Wow. That was a bit harsh. And since when do you talk like that? Oh, and don't think I'll be letting you have revenge on your master, either, or any slave traders. So don't get any ideas.

Rhavaniel: Like what? And I wasn't getting any ideas, I was just mentioning that he may want to find another line of work.

Me: Now, I'm sure he plays an important part in the story, so just shush.

Chayten: To Zanraz: I happened to notice that you have a tail as well. As for my dark skin, I rather like it, thank you. It helps to blend into the shadows.

Arionwyn: I've experienced his 'blending in' more than once. *shudder*

Chayten: And Thysal, I am a Tuliran. I believe my Author posted about my race somewhere... *shuffles through the topics and threads, then shrugs* Hm. Can't find it.

Arionwyn: Whassa huminode?

Aaron: Humanoid. It's something that looks relatively like a human, i.e. two legs, two arms, and so on. Minor deviations are allowed--hence Chayten's tail.

*Chayten fingers the end of his tail self-consciously, and Arionwyn puts an arm around his shoulders.*

Arionwyn: At least you're not out of place.

Me: Who started introducin' villains anyway? I think it's kind of fun...but what's with them all wanting to fight the good characters?

Iri: I could ask Zanraz to help me plot my revenge on Aaron for what he did to me...

*Aaron's eyes widen, and he glances around as if looking for protection*

Me: Ah, just keep away from him. I certainly don't need any more renegade characters, and he looks like a likely one.

Jade - (eyes Raug) All I can say is, even if he is an experianced slaver, I pity the creature who tries to capture me. Oh and Rhavaniel, we mere animals don't like being sold either.

Silvergold - Me too, my friend. I'd pity them too.

Arctax - You two are impossible. (To Chayten) Don't worry, I personally think the tail is an improvement on the average human-type creature. No offense to anyone else. ;)

Zanraz - (Gives a charming, devious smile) Of course, the only person you ever offend or shame is yourself.

Arctax - (puts his paw on his knife) Although, if Zanraz has a problem with tails, I could always remove his for him.

Azura - Please, simmer down. Umm, Eruwaedhiel, I'm not sure who started introducing villains, but I think it was a bad idea on my authors part. (glares at Ciela)

Zanraz - Iri, just ask, and I would love to help you destroy your enemy. I have several ideas . . . (casually unsheaths and examines his claws)

Thysal - No, you don't. You can't, because your staying in this post, and Iri's staying in that post. No crossing margins.

Iri: *Eyes Zanraz's claws* Hm. You might be impressed with one of my weapons, cat.

Aaron: Hmph. I sure was. As in, four scars across the left side of my face...

*Arionwyn winces*

Arionwyn: Yeah, it wasn't pretty.

Me: Iri happens to have a pair of gauntlets (I think I've mentioned this somewhere) with blades on the knuckles.

Aaron: You mentioned it here.

Me: When did you learn how to make links?

Arionwyn: You might be surprised what he's learned. Those elves are pretty tech savvy when you give them an opportunity.

*I give Aaron a questioning look, and he grins sheepishly.*

Flame: That was a nice comeback about the tail, Arctax. Don't get it into your head to try removing anyone else's tail, though. There are plenty of us here who would like to keep ours.

Arionwyn: Rhavaniel, are you an elf too? Never got the chance to go through the posts and see if there was a description.

Azura - Tech-savvy elves, huh? How about making a elven story set in the computer age? New twist on fantasy.

Arctax - That'd be interesting, but I like elves where they are, I can't picture one without a bow or a sword. (To Flame) Don't worry, I'll leave everyone else's tails intact. I have one too.

Thysal - Which nearly got removed by our golden friend here.

Zanraz - (To Iri, ignoring Arctax and Thysal) Yes Elf, I am quite impressed with the ingenuity of human-type creatures, imitating natural weapons. Although maybe not quite as efficent as something more flexible, what you created is a nice achivement.

Thysal - Please. The snow leopards use their claws more then you do. Those claws of yours are only used when you can't use any better weapons. The elf sounds like he uses his more frequently.

Arctax - As demonstrated by his tangle with Aaron.

Azura - Exactly. Arionwyn, the link given by your friend only tells his side of the story. Other then getting mauled by a evil elf with issues, what were you doing while Aaron got his face rearranged?

Arctax - Please, don't put it that way ok?

Silvergold - Touchy. Are you sure Queen Tuska only messed up your face?
(Arctax growls at Silvergold, and Azura steps between them)

Azura - I thought we were together on this?

Silvergold - We are. Our friend has sensitive feelings, that's all.

Zanraz - (To himself) Yes, my friends. Argue and make it easier for me to slay you . . .
(Looks up and sees Thysal, glaring down at him)

Thysal - I've heard quite enough out of you. Hush, or be frozen. Got it?
(The golden leopard growls but doesn't respond)

Me - Ok, all of you, take a lesson from Jade and lets get back to work, shall we?

Azura - Where is Jade, by the way?

Me - Working with Marlas, where you should be too. Come on.

Rhavaniel: Yes, I'm an Elf. Or, rather, a Dark Elf... but I consider us equal.

Me: Haha, I like that idea, Azura. Elves could do some interesting things with computers, I'm sure.

Sellion: I don't understand this "technology" stuff very well, myself.

Rhavaniel: *in a loud whisper* I don't think you understand swords very well, either.

Me: I guess I didn't know about that one....?

Sellion: Aw, come on, I can too use a sword.

Aaron: Did Arctax have *ahem* issues with an evil person who tried to kill him, as well? By the way, Rhavaniel, I also happen to be a dark elf (in the purely colored sense of the word--darker skin tone and black hair, for example.)

Arionwyn: Well, I'm not sure if the link mentions it, but I was lying on the ground unconscious when he got there. I didn't wake up until after Earis healed us.

Me: Ciela, I might like to take advantage of Azura's ability to come up with story ideas. That's fantastic! Sure you don't want to rent her to me for a couple days?...

Smoky: That might be a rather bad idea, considering all the discussion around here about slaves lately. *eyes Raug*

Arctax - Umm (looks at Ciela)

Me - *sigh* go ahead. not like it's a very original storyline.

Arctax - Sure. The queen of Polaria and I go back a long way, and she vowed to kill me after I released the Ice Dragon Queen from her clutches. Anyway, Azura and I got captured, and the polar bear clawed me across the face. So I have three vertical marks on the left side of my face. (winces) It wasn't pleasant.

Azura - (Examines Aaron) There seems to be a reoccuring theme here.

Silvergold - I love coincidence.

Thysal - I agree with Smoky. Lets cut back on the slavers. (Glares at Zanraz)

Zanraz - It's a method of using creatures to get your work done, especially if the creatures have no purpose in life already.

Silvergold - (gives the golden leopard a glare of disgust) You sicken me, pussyfoot.

Zanraz - Pussyfoot, eh, puppydog? Lets see how delicate my paws really are. (Bares his claws)

Me - Both of you, quit it!

Azura - Eruwaedhiel, I'd love to work with you, although right now, I'm having some . . . well, I'm working on another storyline. I get to control my own future!

Me - I'm working on human/elf/fay type creatures. I'm thinking a girl who can change her shape into that of a dragon or a horse. Maybe an otter, depending on the element.

Azura - That isn't very creative. You can see I'm not helping her with that one.
