Ok, so I thought we could have a thread where we can share recipes; rare, unusual or everyday recipes.

One of my favourite recipes is our angel delight crispy cornflake cake! It has a base of cornflakes, butter, golden syrup and chocolate. Then there's chocolate angel delight on the top with flakes and chocolate buttons. Wow it is such an unhealthy recipe but soo delicious! I'll post the full recipe later with how to make it, my sister has it tucked away somewhere and she's busy at the moment.

So has anyone else got recipes to share?

That treat sounds delicious! I can't wait to try it. I love to cook, but I don't have a lot of recipes that are my own; most of them come from cookbooks that I find at the library (I really, really recommend Teens Cook and Teens Cook Dessert, by Megan and Jill Carle). If you want, I could post some of my favorites from them, and cite the book.

Cooking can be fun, especially the impromptu kind.

So one day mom calls and tells me her and the other kids decided to eat out after Band.

So I have to fix myself lunch. <-We need a twisted evil smiley... replace the frown with a big grin.

Anyway, I get the leftovers of Mom's really good chicken pot pie, and I throw them in a frying pan, along with a bunch of butter and cheese.

So I melt the whole thing down into a delectable goop, and then I put it on two tortillas, which I wrap up, and I have two nice super-fried-butter-overdosed-cheesy-chicken-pot-pie-burritos.

Serve with Chips and Dr. Pepper and you're set.

That actually sounds pretty good, Eli! But maybe that's just because I'm hungry...

I have a couple good recipes. If I have any extra time, I'll post them.

Where are the recipes??? *coming from one who hasn't posted any yet* ;P

So here's the recipe


4 oz butter,
4 heaped tbsp golden syrup

Melt in saucepan or microwave

3oz Cocoa powder stir into melted butter and syrup

8 oz of cornflakes

Mix altogether

Put it in fridge to set in the bowl you want to serve it in.

2 packets of chocolate angel delight - it says on packet how to mix it etc

When angel delight is set put on top of the cornflakes in the dish and decorate with flakes and chocolate buttons

Now you're making me hungry. And I work at a grocery store *Danger*.

It's so delicious Eli, we made it for a friend the other day and she said the next night she had a dream about it, and woke up craving some. Haha!

I luv my pumpkin bread... it won best of category, best of class, and $10 in the fair when I was nine (I think). But then I sorta lost the recipe.

Pumpkin bread is soooo good. Our local grocery store bakery made some really good stuff.

Maybe they stole your recipe.

Someone once made me Pumpkin soup; I didn't like it much though. Lol.

A lot of good things taste weird when turned into soups, and a lot of weird things taste good in soup.
