My name is Eli, and I come from the other side of Holy worlds, the Sci-Fi forum, which I have to say, is a lot less intimidating than this side.

But anyway, I've come over here because I've been recruited to work on the Giants (Either in admin or admin's assistant role) for the HWCS.

Intimidating? Us?

Just kidding. ;) Well, welcome to the "Non-Dark Side", Eli! It's good to get some more Sci-Fiers over here.

Hi Eli! :) I've seen you there, lovely to have you here too! Oh dear, we have intimidated you already? How did we manage that...

Congrats on being 'recruited'. :D

Shall look forward to seeing you around here as well.

edit: Wow are you really 6 foot 4? I have a friend who is 6 foot 7 and he's intimidating enough looking down at me *giggles*. Just kidding ;)

Aha! There he is! One of my precious dark minions from the future! *evil laugh* The Dark Side as power. ;)

Ahem. Anyway. We're so glad to have you on the HWCS, Eli! Remember, I'm challenging you to get that Tales of the Realm section read this week. :D

And of course y'all are intimidating. I mean... glitter grenades and fireworks-shooting dragons and frilled lizards with disco balls... how much more intimidating can you get?

Wow Eli, I am totally impressed you took the plunge and joined us over here! Awesome! Don't worry; we don't bite- well... I don't bite hard ;)

Everyone will be happy to help show you around and take some of the scary dark side out of things for you :) And be forewarned, intro threads over here are way crazier than the ones over on HWSF. :D

Must've missed the frilled lizards with disco balls.
It was a lot less intimidating here when I joined the Fantasy forum. ;)

Welcome!

Another two-sider! Hey, Eli! Welcome to the light! I promise, it's really not as intimidating as it looks. However, the temptation to abandon one side or another is very great. . .

Welcome to Cair HWF. This side is actually the dark side when you compare that HWSF is white and green.

Once again, welcome to the fantasy section.

Beware, Eli, the people here will chain you to the door and never let you go. Welcome to the side of HW that proudly proclaims its theme as "Dark Fantasy." :P Of course, if you prefer something different, try this link: http://holyworlds.org/forum/ucp.php?i=165 and switch "my board style" to prosilver. It looks something like the sci-fi side...

Hey, I didn't let you go because you didn't say the magic word! Now you make me look like the bad intimidating antagonist of HWF in front of the new member.

*offers hand* Welcome to Fantasy, anyway! I'll try not to be as scary and intimidating as some people imply I am. ;)

Welcome to Holy Worlds, Eli!

I am in agreement with the others, intimidating? Us? What are they telling you over there?!?!?

I hope you enjoy being here on the Fantasy side of things, and maybe you'll get sucked in with the rest of us. ;)

Wow. This is quite a busy forum. Although but will say, y'all have done a better job of staying on topic than your HWSF counterparts.

*Waves* Hey Philly, Airianna!

I've already read everything on Giants... now off to the other topics.

The reason I found this forum intimidating is that out of habit (Since I happen to administrate a few forums here and there) I like to read EVERY single new post each day. This forum is a little bit beyond that scale from what I've heard.

Yeah, plenty of people call me freakishly tall.

Yeah, I was about to say, if you plant a glitter bomb, at least stay for the explosion. :D

And what IS the magic word? Is this something I should know for my safety?

Welcome! :) Don't mind Elanhil; he's not one to hang around for the party. *tosses bomb out the door* I know what you mean about reading all the new posts. I just browse what catches my fancy each morning and then weekends usually catch up on all the rest. :) And there were only about forty people when I joined. But that means Holy Worlds is growing! That's good, right? :)

I mean think about it. We now have some very active Villi’s, Philli’s, Katty’s- You get the picture. We love all of our new members!

*Cough* *Cough* *Spits out glitter*

Well. Glad to know Holy Worlds will never produce a psychopathic serial killer, too many people ready to shake his hand.

Yeah... I suppose Lecrae might have to go. :'( Or maybe the first :Luther quote and the Bonhoeffer quote... hmmmmmmmm.

So Jonathan, are you a Lecrae fan too??? Nice to know I'm not the only Rap/Hip-Hop heretic here.

Nope, no pyschopathic serial killers. Maybe some people who are a little psycho, but certainly no killers. Instead they chain you to the door and try to suffocate you with air-borne glitter while force-feeding people cupcakes. But if you guys would just unchain me maybe I could bring out my fireworks...

Was I ever new? I seemed to be all over the place posting the very first day. I already had about 50 posts before someone said "Who is this girl, and why hasn't she introduced herself?" Some people hadn't made it to the intro threads yet...

Sir Emeth likes some rap.

REALLY? I grow to like Sir emeth more and more every day... we've still only found one disagreement between us, and albeit the fact it's a major theological one, we can still more or less overlook it.

*nearly explodes in a puff of red fury* You. Didn't. say. the. ultimate. well-known. most. vital. important. utter. KEY. MAGIC. WORD.

Hold it-- wayy, way, way, way, way, wait: Did you say... fireworks?

Say please, and I'll let you go. Provided you bring the fireworks, of course...

You can't say you did not enjoy being force fed cupcakes, either. And you're the one who brought the glitter bombs... ;) :D

Fireworks and force fed cookies sound  dangerous! Flees before fireworks arrive!

I am not responsible for the glitter bombs. I said that I would sic Personality B on anyone who tries to plant a glitter bomb, and said that I would disarm Elanhil's, because I knew he would bring one. However, I was chained to the door so I wasn't able to do so.

Fine, I will say the magic word... Ash Nazg!
was that the magic word they wanted?

I should probably know what this means, but I don't, so I'll ask.

What's it mean? :D

It means "one ring" in the Black Speech of Mordor, as part of the poem... but we best speak no more of it or we might have another Green Bar? on our hands.
