In Word and other applications, you usually indent by hitting "tab." It shoves the first line of a paragraph over and makes things easier to read. In your average book, all of the paragraphs are indented.

Indenting is something that's oft-missed on the forums. In fact, indents can be added to your posts. To add an indent to a story, or an essence map, or whatever, add the following code:



This will add one indent to your post. To add two just add the code twice.

Ooh I wish I had seen this earlier! I can't tell you how many times I've pressed tab... only to find it not working and remembering it doesn't work...
