My mom mailed a package to Australia and it took 8 days. There's hope Bush!

Um...Not sure if that's a fair trade-off. But I should practice what I preach. *sits on hands*

Yep. It almost wasn't... I'm not sure about it now. We don't get it on Sundays, definitely.

EDIT: The mail truck just came, without it. :P More anticipation!

Something wrong, Jaynin? You don't need to be afraid of me if that's what you're worked up about. :D You just need to be patient because said private correspondence is going snail-mail.

By the way, thank you for doing all the packing & mailing! :D

Oh, really?

*is relieved*

I thought I was in trouble over something and I couldn't for the life of me remember what, or why... Whew.

I'll look forward to it.

Emmalina and I got our postcards yesterday, if that's what y'all are talking about. ;) They're very pretty. I was slightly disappointed, though, because there was no return address! Rats.
I have lost a victim for my random gift-sending. But I'll find another way, oh yes I will. I have ways of finding things out. *stalker-ish grin*

Got mine yesterday. :D I'm a little disappointed because it was terribly mis-cut and I couldn't see all the picture. :( Nice to get, anyway.

And I had a good chuckle over "Katherine" instead of "Kathrine."

It was? *is shocked*

I was very, very careful to stick all the mess ups in a corner where they wouldn't get sent out. I can send you another one if you like Kathrine, I have some extras.

Ya see, paper cutter hate me, every paper cutter in my house messed up several postcards each... I am very, very sorry about that. Did everyone else's come out all right?

Well, I thought it was - it didn't look like the post office tore it, although I don't put that past them. ;) I would appreciate one of the extras. Yay for spares!

I hear you about paper cutters. :P Oh my word. . . *shudders with the memories of maimed paper and photographs* I don't know how people make those things work. At least, I presume there are some people on Earth who can operate a paper cutter successfully, otherwise I don't know how they sell. Unless the paper cutter industry thrives off noobs who think it looks easy.

Well, my mom and sister's and their friends use them without difficulty. But me, I feel safer with scissors.

I'll get that sent out sometime next week then. :D

I'm a professional paper-crafter. I could not survive without my paper-cutter.

And then there are days where it ruins more cards than makes. Can you not cut STRAIGHT!!

Haha, as long as the blade is actually SHARP, I can do it. Try cutting bulletins for the church service the day before with a blunt cutter.

Kathrine, your postcard is going out this morning, and I got your name spelled right this time. I think in one of my novels I spell it Katherine, which is why that just comes naturally to me. :D

Phili: you may smack me for an idiot. Ever since you posted that you got your postcard I have been wracking my brain trying to figure out which of your names I used when I addressed it. I thought, if only I knew which name I used I would know why I was in trouble. Then you revealed that I wasn't really in trouble but it continued to bother me until suddenly this morning I remembered what I had sent you....

(And I have no doubt that will cause many an HWer to laugh at their somewhat absent minded ML...)

Thanks a lot. :D That makes perfect sense. It took me forever to get Jonathan's name right, since I have a character named Jonathon. Now I mess up my character's name.

I also echo Emeth's sentiments.

What...? If it's as interesting as everyone else thinks it is, I for one am totally not getting it. You spelled my last name wrong, but everyone does that. Occasionally I get worked up over that, but only to tease people. :D

Honestly, I was just playing around. If you're in trouble for something, I have no idea what it is. :D But you can go stalk your own mailbox now, since I mailed a letter back to you.

And if everyone else MUST know, she sent me the postcard, a letter (NONE of the rest of y'alls concern), and a copy of the Yen map. Nothing weird about that, is there?

I got my postcard! :D Thanks for making all of them, Jaynin!

LOL.... Shawn and Elanhil, I was laughing so hard at your conversation over my story!

Hey, Hey, HEY! Did you write any????

Yep! A grand total of 181 words. :P You can blame my dad... he seems to think Sunday night is the perfect time to do a math test. ;)

But this is off-topic...

Maybe not that interesting... but it is pretty amazing. :D

But see, that's what I forgot. I spent the past few days worrying about what name I put on your postcard, and only remembered this morning that I didn't put any name on at all! I sent you a letter! And that's what I was going to hear from you about!!!

See, the only thing I could think off was that I'd got your name wrong, (Or used one of your pseudonyms) because I thought all I'd sent you was a postcard and there was nothing else worth commenting on. Now do you get it?

Vilisse, you got a book, right? And yes, you were supposed to get two, because one is bigger. (I was experimenting with sizes and thought the winners might like those.) Did it come through the mail all right? I didn't use boxes...

Oh... Okay. So, we're all good now? I think? I hope? I vainly assume?

Yes, we are, now that my treacherous memory has been recovered, and the mystery set to rest, and Sir Emeth hopefully relieved. :D

I got my book, postcard, and picture today. :D

Thanks, Katie and Holy Worlds!

My book was fine other than a few minor dents.

That's three out of five. Bushmaid, I sent a package to Jay at the same time and he received it today, so yours should be getting there soon. :D
