Eh... my style of mapping seems to be SEM in reverse. I put the dashes after the categories instead of before the metaphors. That's easily fixed, I suppose, if I wanted to be consistent.

Darlene spends my whole book being dead. She doesn't die at the beginning of the book, she doesn't die in the book at all. Not even the prologue. The book starts with Darlene dead and she stays that way. However, she's one of my favorite characters and some might even say she's a main character, since everything that happens happens because of/for her. So she got an essence map. :D

That was great, Jaynin! =) I especially liked the 'new cabbage plants' reference.

Thanks, ya'll.

Darlene and Christiana are actually very similar characters, and I was trying really hard not to use the same metaphores I'd already used for hers.

Pretty! Darlene is a great character, an essential part of a soon-to-be great book. ;)

Love the fact a dead character has an Essence map. How awesome. ;) Great job, Jaynin!
