Really though, if you're talking consistently in 6 words it's not that terribly off-topic. It's still a successful exercise in maintaining a word count. But try to keep it to primarily 6-word stories. Silliness is good, but don't let it run rampant and ruin the thread. Okay, guys? :)

What came to mind was "..."

Wow, just noticed that is six!!

My little brother just wrote one:

I really like cows and dogs.

EDIT: Avoiding triple posting, so I'm editing.

Here is a conversation just happened:

Little bro: Caleb, I have a good one: I eat my mints with mustard.

Me: J, that doesn't make any sense.

Little bro: I put mustard on my mints!

Me: No, I am not posting that.

(True, as far as I recall!)

Now here's a challenge for all of you dangerously insane people...

Go find a complete 6-word phrase from Scripture that stands alone as a sentence. (Depending on your translation, it'll probably be part of a longer sentence, but as long as it's complete in grammar and content, it counts.)

Mine are, both from the KJV:
"Let no man despise thy youth."
"Lay hands suddenly on no man."

A cookie to anyone who can tell me what book of the Bible both of those are from. ;)

And I was misinformed. Lady Shanai-Irisis is the official mod of this section.

Haha! :D Good one!

"Amen. Even so, come Lord Jesus." Rev 22:20

"I will also laugh at your disaster." Prov 1:26

"She is more precious than rubies." Prov 3:15

"Who can find a virtuous woman?" Prov 31:10

There's a few. :) That's an even better challenge! :D

"O LORD, You bless the righteous."

"Let them ever sing for joy."

"He is the King of glory."

"Fear the LORD and shun evil."

"The LORD will be your confidence."

"By grace you have been saved."

"He who believes has everlasting life."

"Light has come into the world."

"The light shines in the darkness."

"In the beginning was the Word."

The possibilities are quite nearly endless. The Bible's filled with such phrases.

I'm a mod and a judge. The announcement has been delayed, I apologize, but we're working on it! There are some fantastic entries up there.

In the meantime, y'all should go back to your 6-word stories. ;)

In context, yes. Out of context, it wouldn't make any sense since nobody would know who Bush was. :)
