Hi, my (user) name is Aurora and I became a member yesterday. Two of my four sisters are on the forum, Evening and Elisanna. I LOVE horses and most other animals. Once a week I get to go to a ranch and take care of a horse named Princess. (Evening and Elisanna also take care of two other horses there.)

I like to read the Chronicles of Narnia. My mom read the series to me when I was in first grade. :book: She is reading them to my younger sister now. I also like reading true stories about racehorses like Secretariat. I like to read up on them on Wikipedia.

Last night Evening was showin Elisanna and I some fantasy pictures (dragons, unicorns, winged people, etc...) and I got an idea to write a story from a picture of a red baby dragon sticking its head out of a Christmas stocking. The story is going to be about a girl who gets a dragon in her stocking for Christmas.

Evening is giving me piano lessons. I am also going to be playing the violin.

I entered a drabble in the Christmas Contest.

I am excited to be a part of this forum. I have never been a part of a forum before. :D :D :D

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

Welcome to HW! I love the sound of your story plot! It's lovely to see more sisters arriving! I have a sister here too. :D

It's amazing when your Mum or Dad read you stories especially ones like Narnia! Lovely memories!

I play the piano, it's lovely that your sister can teach you. :)

Merry cCristmas and a Happy New Year to you too! :)

Welcome aboard the S.S. Fantasia Insania, sis! I hope you enjoy the ride. Hold on tight, though, 'cause things can get a little strange around here. Productively strange, but strange nonetheless.

You should fit in wonderfully. ;)

 Welcome, Daughter of Eve and Sister of Evening! (Just had to say that.) Fellow Narnia lover here. I read the series when I was ten and they've been on my favorite books list ever since.

I'm also a fellow piano player and horse lover. :D Have you read the Misty of Chincoteague series by Marguerite Henry? Those are my favorite horse novels. They're true stories, although not about racehorses.

A story about a baby dragon in a Christmas stocking sounds utterly fantastic! So sweet, yet mixed with the speculative. I would read it! :book:

Congrats on this being your first forum! You shall love it here. I've not been a member a week yet, but I completely feel like I belong. Joined just in time to submit that drabble, eh? I hope you do well in the contest, and at very least have fun.

Oh dear. I am being forced to look at NAMES instead of AVATARS to identify people. :P You and Elanor. . .

Welcome to Holy Worlds, Aurora!

I'm a horse lover as well. :3 I agree, Marguerite Henry's books are good. Black Beauty, National Velvet, Justin Morgan had a Horse, and King of the Wind are also fantastic books. :D

I hope you enjoy your time here on Holy Worlds!

Welcome to Holy Worlds Aurora! I'm sure you will love it here. :)

I'm also a Narnia lover, and a pianist. That's so great that Evening's teaching you! I don't teach my little sister (I left that job to my grandma), but I help her out sometimes. :)

And I would love to read your story!

"The courtesy of our hall is somewhat increased of late..." I think I get to be the 10th member of the welcome crew... better late than never. I can't say that Narnia inspires me, although I respect its artistry, or that horses enchant me, though riding is fun. You'll find Lord of the Rings is my passion. But it takes all kinds to make a world, so, welcome to Holy Worlds.

Holy Worlds n. 1. An organization of worlds that is considered sacred or venerated. 2. Worlds constructed for the most part out of Swiss cheese. 3. An online group of insane persons from across the globe united by their love of God and of fantasy, with inside jokes and senses of humor that only an online forum could bring out.

You are in for the ride of your life... get it? ride, horses... :)

Aurora, I am so thrilled to meet another of Evening’s sisters! You are very welcome on the forum, and we are all very glad to have you.

I am a big animal lover, and horses are particularly fascinating, since I’ve never owned my own. Do you like a specific breed in particular?

I love Narnia. I have been a big fan ever since they got me back onto the path of reading. Who is your favorite character?

Your story sounds so original and intriguing! I am very fond of dragons, so that factor immediately grabbed me. However, the entire concept is highly appealing and little explored. Will you share some of the story with us, after you begin to write it?

Again, welcome. We are thrilled to have you. And since you come from such a creative family I know you will fit right in. :D

I love Arabians, Paints and Quarter Horses. I used to take care of a really sweet 20 year old bay Quarter Horse named Tiffany. She would follow me around in the arena. She left the ranch and now she lives in Seattle. :'( Now I take care of Paint horse named Princess. She is 9.

I think it is in between Aslan and Lucy.

How fun! I always favored Clydesdales. :) But paint and pintos come second.

Of course. :) They are both good favorites. Mine was always Edmund.

I must say, I'm also partial to Arabians. :3 They're just so gorgeous!

I like Quarter horses too since I learned how to ride on a sweet-tempered QH mare named Ginger and a gelding named Handy. (Sadly, Handy had to be put down after a leg injury.) :( They were a family friend's horses.

What was your first username?

The reason we had Emmalina change her username was to make it "the three e sisters" and to have all tree last names. And, now the last names are A B C, (Aspen, Birch, Cedar.) :D

Pretty, and very clever! :D

My original username was "Heri Mami" which is an Elvish variant of my real name. "Philadelphia" is much more timeless, I think.
