Me - Why is she never this daring when I write about her?

Zanya - I get the feeling that my challenge has been rejected.

Sabre - (heaves a breath of relief) Whew.

Silver - (reaches her nose up to Smoky's) Wow, you can really do that? I've never talked using my mind before. It doesn't worked with Ryan. Maybe my human is just hardheaded?

Ember - (gets bored and curls into a ball)

Vetis: *doesn't move, but the attack just passes through him harmlessly* Sabre, Zanya, I accept your dual challenge.

Derek: What?

*looks back, confused*

Raedon: It must be a projection.

Derek: A what? *is more confused*

Me: Nu-uh. This is a fantasy forum. You will kindly keep your technological knowledge to yourself.

Merashath: *Begins to ascend and gives a mighty shriek* You still back there, Tanner?

Elanhil: I suppose I'll wait for Griffin.

Hadwin: *leans back.* I will do the same.

Trina: *Looks up at the dragons.* Wow!

Elanhil: *Shakes head* Crazy.

Trina: *Jaw-drop* Awesome!

Elanhil: *looks at Trina.*

Trina: *slowly glances at Elanhil then clears her throat and glances down at her feet.* I meant, how awful.

Elanhil: Sure ya did.

Me: Hey, he might have an influence on you, but you're not forced to like what he does.

Tynx: Man, this'll be so cool.

Seymour: Dragon wars are not awesome.

Me: And, you know this from experience?

Chayn: [Ears flick around tentatively] You must do most of the eye work, little one. Watch above and below.

Cory: How many dragons are up there?

Me: Chayn, Thysal, Blaze, Tynx, Raedon. And then there's Merashath.

Cory: I'd hardly say that's fair.

Mordir: He's a super strong villain, he'll be fine.

Me: That was fast.

Mordir: I know. I wanted to get back here and ask why my story's been removed.

Me: Because I needed to clean up my stories. It's stored away, so it's still here. I'm just not working on it. So chill. Besides, I don't know how I'd get out back home yet anyway.

Chase: So, when do you work on mine?

Seymour: The more you all pester her, the less cooperative she'll be.

Tanner: Yup, I'm ready when you are!

Pernoxnix: Have fun in the skies my friend.

Skooter: I want shrimp.

Derek: what are we doing? I seem to have missed something.

Raedon: Dragon wars, coolness. Who do I attack next?

Me: *goes to write poetry*

Me: Okay, after several pages gone, we are back.

Matt: Aww, my dew of mountain wore off...

Griffin: Thank goodness. Are we continuing the duel now? Your move first.

Phillip: I believe I threw a fireball at Hadwin a few pages back, but we'll forget that. (saps water vapor out of the air for later use, makes the rock from under Hadwin shoot upwards, then creates a strong wind current, throwing Hadwin off the pillar of rock)

Negraz: (enters amid black smoke and a chilling wind) I here another of my kind has come to this lowly place. I challenge Vetis once his current duel is over.

Zanya - (draws a dagger and begins circling, her tail waving restlessly) You're move first, Vetis.

Sabre - I can't believe you got us into this.

Akira - You'll need this (Tosses him a spear)

Sabre - Aren't we well armed.

Me - If it makes you feel better, maybe I'll give you access to your hidden abilities from later in your story, oh Draconai.

Sabre - What???

Akira - (settles down to watch)

Thysal - (spins around so she's facing Merashath) Hang on, Jay! (Tucks in her wings and her feet so that she is streamlined like a missile, zooming towards the villain)

Ember - (Watching the dragons, he whimpers and raises his small wings)

Silver - You can't fly yet, small one.

Sylvia - (Scoops up Ember) I'm sure he'll be safe if you want to take him aboard, Shawn.

Me - This is becoming chaotic.

Niarah - (out of nowhere) Yes, but you have to admit, this is great development and tons of fun!

Me: It's snowing!!!!!

Mordir: This morning.

Me: No, on the forum!

Mordir: It's little pixel squares.

Cory: It's snow. Anybody can tell that.

Chayn: [Settles lightly beside Sylvia.] Welcome aboard, dragon-child.

Tynx: This will be so cool! You ready, Iri?

Seymour: [Smiles as he watches the sky] I almost wish I were up there with them.

Mordir: You're skilled enough on the ground. They wouldn't stand a chance with you in the air.

Chase: [Watches Elanhil and Griffin closely]

Tynx: [Roars and circles slowly above, watching Merashath] We'll take him down in one shot.

Me: Considering that he doesn't know what kind of power he has as a dragon, he's pretty confident.

Mordir: [Brushes the pixel snow off his sleeve]

Cory: Wimp.

Mordir: [Glares]

Griffin: (rushes at Elanhil swinging his sword wildly on approach, but jumping and spinning around in a horizontal slice at Elanhil's waste at the last moment)

Hadwin: *braces himself on the rock, maintaining his balance so that he does not fall off. Higher in the air Hadwin jumps off and begins to float down towards the ground. He concentrates the light from the sun into a beam towards Philip*

Elanhil: *Cuts upward from the bottom left to the top right as Griffin rushes up. Then as he slashes at his waist he cuts downward to his side*

Griffin: (jumps to avoid the first cut and parries as he lands to block the second, turns to face Elanhil, bringing his sword down under Elanhil, then up to his left leg)

Phillip: (freezes the water he stored and uses it as a mirror to reflect the burning sunbeam back at Hadwin, saps heat out of the air and hurls a fireball at Hadwin)

Kai: Well, it's not Iri, but I suppose it'll do... I accept, Fairivel!

Klasina: I suppose you could pick me up... just... be nice, please?

Kai: He will, or I'll kill him.

Me: *raises eyebrows at Kai*

Kai: Forget it, author.

Me:

Silver - What's wrong with goggles? They're so cool, they make you look like a fish or a big bug! Goggles are awesome! (wiggles with new excitement)

Akira - Ryan, that dragon of yours . . .

Ryan - She's not my dragon, so to speak.

Sylvia - (hands Ember up to Shawn) Have fun, guys! I'll be taking cover by the snow leopard.

Kai: Amanda! Can I have a katana?? You know you haven't decided what type of sword I was going to have!

Me: Just use a broad sword for now, 'k? And your knife. You should be good.

Kai: But katanas are cool! 'Specially since I've got a manga name.

Me: The manga-ness of your name was sheer accident. Okay? Be happy, or I'll make you fight with fog alone.

Kai: * sigh * **draws sword and faces off against Fairivel**

Vetis: *small smirk* *vanishes, but his voice can still be heard, laughing, coming from all around them*

Raedon: Who are we fighting?

Derek: I have no clue. Please, please, please, can't Katherine come see this?

Me: *relenting* but you're fixing to get into a fight! She doesn't want to be in a fight.

Raedon: Who are we fighting?

Derek: I already answered that question.

Me: *sigh*

Merashath: @Tanner--You get the human, I'll get the dragon. *Flies toward Thysal and slashes at her face*

Elanhil: *Slashes downward at the sword, but his own gets stuck in the dirt. He jumps over Griffins, forward and sends a punch towards his jaw.*

Hadwin: *Stops floating and suddenly drops below the beam and the fireball. He charges the ice wall and smashes it with his foot.* Why wouldn't the beam melt the ice?

Griffin: (gets caught off balance and hit squarely in the jaw, recovers quickly and delivers a downward diagonal slice at Elanhil's torso) Anytime you want Chase, just jump in.

Phillip: It would have melted eventually. (aims at flying kick at Hadwin after his ice mirror is shattered, saps the oxygen out of the air around Hadwin, and sends vine tendrils to wrap up Hadwin)

Chayn: [Gently lifts off, circling in the air]

Tynx: [Rolls to his left for the sheer pleasure of it, then dips downward.]

Me: This snow is pretty. It's not tiny squares anymore.

Mordir: Joy.

Me: Hey, now you get to have snow. We have plenty here.

Mordir: No thanks.

Tynx: I'll see if I can pick ya up later, I wanna pound Merashath.

Seymour: [Glances at me] Calm down. He'll be careful.

Me: Careful? That's the last word on my mind right now. With him and Iri together, goodness knows what's gonna happen!

Cory: They'll be fine. Iri'll prob'ly keep him in check.

Mordir: And if not?

Cory: Then we'll all duck and cover.

Chayn: You all are battling Merashath and Tanner, Raedon. Fight hard, dragons! Riders, hold fast!

Me: You took that form the Vision Forum catalogue.

Chayn: [Blinks in agreement and spirals upward into the clouds.]

Chase: [Slashes at Griffin's sword arm while he's busy with Elanhil] Having two opponents sure keeps a guy on his toes.

Tynx: Ooh, that's a good idea-

Me: No.

Tynx: Oh come on! If Iri can stay on?

Me: If Iri wants to. He calls the shots, since he's then one who risks falling.

Ember - (wiggles in excitement, but clings to Chayn tightly)

Thysal - C'mon Jay! Lets show that villain what we're made of! (ducks her head as Merashath's claws come at her, and clamps his talons in her jaws. Jerking her neck upwards, she hopefully flings him away, then lowers her flight, circling close to the ground) Bring it on!

Zanya - (brushes the snow out of her black hair impatiently, her green eyes seeking Vetis. Finally, her ears flatten in disgust) Come out villain! Or do you hide like a cowardly serpent?

Sabre - Be careful, Zanya.

Akira - (stands over with watchful Sylvia and Ryan) They aren't going to last very long, I don't think.

Ryan - Well, who knows?

Silver - (sits next to Smoky) I like the snow, do you?

Niarah - It reminds me of Ilaria. (wanders off to see if any snowdrifts have gathered yet)

Jay's riding Thysal right?

Tanner: *swings at Jay* Ready to go at this again?

Thysal - (snorts) Has Merashath recovered from my last attack yet? (begins spiraling upwards, then downwards like a corkscrew) C'mon Tanner, lets see what you've got, eh? (tosses her head and whistles challengingly)

Niarah - She is thoroughly enjoying herself, I see.

Ryan - I've never met a dragon which doesn't roar before.

Me - Ice dragons in my world don't. At least, not frequently.

Silver - What's wrong with looking like a bug???

Me: Amen Silver!

Tanner: Probably should have thought of this before but... Does anyone have a sword I can borrow?

Derek: *chuckles* I'd offer you mine but, I think I might be needing it. Five against one doesn't sound very fair t me, who's side am I on?

Raedon:We're going to take down that villain for once and for all...

Derek: What's wrong?

Me: He got into a duel with Merashath already. And lost.

Raedon: I won, but the idiot can't accept it.

Kai: Heh heh. I know all about authors messing with characters. * glares at Amanda*

Me: It's our job, kid. Now, go fight.

Kai: You may go first, Fairivel. *raises his sword into a defensive position, and waits for Fairiviel to make the first move*

Tanner: Thanks! Holy Cow, it's Christmas Eve already.

Griffin: (continues his slash, through or around Elanhil, depending on his movements, bringing it under Chase's slice and guard toward his stomach)

Chayn: I guess we are. We'll be over here should you have need of us.

Tynx: Alrightee. If you plan on battling, make sure the little one stays firmly in Shawn's arms, or on the ground. [Turns sharply and flies toward Merashath slowly]

Me: Sorry, Iri. I didn't know you'd been a rider for that long. My bad. Have at it, ya'll!

Mordir:

Me: Hush up.

Mordir: I didn't say anything!

Chase: [Slams the pommel of his sword down on Griffin's blade, so only his leg is cut]

Cassie: Whooo!!!

Griffin: Uh. Would it be okay if I grabbed my javelin?

Chayn: Of course. [Soars high into the clouds, circles for a moment, then dives down, barely missing Tynx.]

Tynx: [Turns sharply to avoid Chayn] Hey!

Chayn: With clouds, a dragon has the element of surprise. With the right air currents, we have various degrees of speed. [Rolls to the left to avoid Tynx]

Chase: [Backs up three paces] I don't mind, if Elanhil doesn't mind.

Me: You are way to courteous.

Mordir: And you can't spell. [Is buried in a pile snow]

Cory: He just won't let that go, will he?

Me: Apparently not.

Me - There's nothing like burying a villain in a pile of something.

Niarah - Snowdrifts! (dives in Mordir's snow pile)

Ryan - Ok. That happened.

Silver - (snaps at a snowflake) This is so awesome!

Ember - (holds on tight as Chayn dives, his tongue hanging out the side of his mouth)

Zanya - (Ears flattened, eyes narrowed) Cowardly villain.

Sabre - Careful, Zanya. This isn't over yet.

Akira - Brr. (shivers)

I have to ask - has this evolved into an RP?

Out of curiosity, what's an RP? I'll have to agree that this has grown into more than just an introduction thread, we have duels, digging, treasure hunts, etc, and currently an epic battle hosted by villains.
What do you mean by RP?

Role play. I'll drag Mirage and Diadine into here in a few minutes.

Skooter: *noses through the snow* The fight should be with snow. Do dragons get cold?

Pernoxnix: *Climbs on my back* I don't know about dragons, some are warm-blooded I suppose, but I'm not fond of winter myself.
