definition: Glomp - It's a verb, meaning that you run over to someone, picks them up, hugs them carries them around and happily puts them down.

Aka, You run at someone very fast (e.g. fly at) pick them up, tackle, hug, all at once. Very excited hug, shall we say! I usually say it when I'm very excited to "see" someone online.

A glomp is about as epic as a hug gets XD
Although I don't glomp people for real because I'm afraid I'll hurt them, or knock them over and be laying in an awkward pile in the middle of the floor

Sounds funny, Elanor. =) I do a modified glomp on anyone older than me (kind of hard to pick up and spin around with), just a big bear hug.

A modified glomp sounds very sensible Elly! I love bear hugs although they always make me think of a massive hug because bears are very big!
