Describe a character in one word. This is difficult but really gives me a clearer picture of who they are. You can explain who they are and what role they play in your story at the end if you like.

Arionwyn - naive
Aaron - steady
Iri - impulsive
Klista - twisted
Faulkner - dangerous


And so on. I have a whole list, but that will have to wait a while. ;) Post some of your own!

This is a wonderful idea! If you know your character well (or have already done some fractalling), it's not too hard to think of a word. But if you haven't yet dug into your character's personality and struggles... it forces you to think. It's the same sort of principle as a logline; the more compactly you can summarize an essence, the better you know it.

I have two other characters for that story, but I have yet to figure out their "one word"s. ;)
