So if any of you have been reading my Nano this year, I need help finding a face for Nessa.

Nessa is wild, impulsive, selfish, but also strangely interested in doing what's right. She doesn't back down on something she really believes. She can be very fiery and has only just learned how to be self-controlled. She's also never really been loved much, and so on the inside she's very hurt and scarred, especially by her father.

There's a brief summary of her for those who don't know who I'm talking about. Now tell me! Which looks more like her?

Wow! Karen fits to a T what I thought. But...who's Owen?

I'd say picture one fits better.

Picture one, most assuredly. She looks more petulant.

Owen is the rotten dude in charge of Nolan's torment.

Wow. Where do you find these pictures that are such stark representations of your characters?

I am partial to the tone of the first picture. The posture and attitude is more fitting.

Believe me. It took a lot of searching and sifting to find these pictures. And wow. I did not expect ya'll to choose the first one! I mean, the first one is how she is in the book, but the second one is what the refined, finished product will be...lol!

And here's a picture of Azriel. Actually...two pictures. A friend came up with one and I came up with the other.

I said the second one because it seemed more 'fiery', as you put it. But maybe if I would read the story I'd say differently. Believe me, for stories on HW, yours is first on my list, second in all.

The "idk" picture looks an awful lot like the picture for Owen. That just struck me, so I thought I'd mention it.

Hmmm...I guess I don't really see much of a resemblance. They're both blond with facial hair, but...other than that...lol. I take it you like the other Azriel pic better then.

Er... actually, neither looks like someone I'd want to have a long conversation with. I think it's the haircut that makes the two pictures look similar.

Get a haircut. Works for me, if I'm supposed to be suspicious of him.

I actually like the second picture of Nessa, myself.

And that picture of Karen is perfect! As is the second picture of Azriel, IMO.

The newest picture of Azriel looks sort of like Chris Tomlin. But I like it =)
