Rahor - Hello. My sister would come over, but she's engaged right now. She's that duelling snow leopard yonder. Anyway, Tanner, who eactly is Luke? Friend of yours?

Thysal - @Elbas; I'd be afraid of inhaling that dragonfly if I were you.

Niarah - (Whirls around to block Seymour's blow at the last second) You are extremely swift, my friend. (Uses the movement to step to the side and stabs forward at his torso)

Me - Should I bring in another feline, or a human? Both are males.

Thysal - Bring in both!

Me - Right, so maybe next time I post I'll bring in Sabre and Ashrai.

Zanya - Great. We asked for it . . .

Me: sorry I don't know what to call the sentient geckos that have "Powers"

Pernoxnix (uncloaks to show he's all black with striking emerald eyes: it's just what I can do *licks nosy dragon cuz that's how geckos smell* I'm the only gecko that does that I am acquainted with.

Shawn: *ahem* I was the one who asked, Azriel.

Jay: And yes, I know what those things are, thank-you-very-much!

Shawn: Wait, that sword fighting when we were younger didn't count as a duel, did it?

Me: Uh, no, I don't think so. You weren't trying to kill each other.

Aarin jumps over Griffin's sword, then swings his sword down and holds it in a low swordlock.

Aarin: Amanda, this guy has too many powers...

Me: I'm almost agreeing.

Aarin: So, can I have something..?

Me: Here only. Not in your world.

Aarin takes a quick step back, therefore releasing Griffin's sword, and his clothing turns into fire.

Aarin: This is awesome. What good it does me, I don't know, but it's awesome. ::lights sword on fire::

Tullio: That is awesome! Amanda! I want to duel!

Me: No you don't. I just popped in for Griffin and Aarin's duel. I have to write.

*Sanah peeks over shoulder*

Me: Cory and Seymour are the only ones out of my characters who've been here the longest.

Rowen: And Cory's never left

Nara: Does someone have favorites?

Seymour: As are you. [Swings his leg up to knock the weapon away, but almost loses his balance.]

Me: I'm beginning to wonder why he didn't do better against Kimun...

Cory: Because You stink at duels?

Me: Well, there's that... but I don't go into great sword-fighting detail and stuff like that, so knock it off.

Kerra: [Sniffs Pernoxnix] What an unusual creature... SO you are able to conceal yourself?

Cory: So you live in the real world, Tanner?

Nara: Shouldn't we bring Mordir back now?

Me: No, he's stickin' it out in the CR until he can cool off.

Pernoxnix: Indubitably, my skin changes however I think it to-

Me: It's his visual imagination folks!

Pernoxnix: -so invisible is one of the most simplistic. Just imagine, not here. It took practice when I was a juvenile to get my bearings but one adjusts. Also my eyes require a nictitating membrane (rather like that of a frog) to keep them hidden.

Tanner: Yeah, until recently I guess. My folks are gone and my step-mom isn't really interested so I took off. Lived on the streets til the storm-wraith here knocked some sense into me. Now we're headed to an outpost where I can stay til I "get back on my feet". He goes on about it sometimes but it makes for a great teacher, what with most MCs having to deal with another I-can't-believe-they-don't-know-the-difference-between-a-basilisk-and-a-cockatrice types. You just gotta be able to absorb it all.

Pernoxnix: Subjects arise when one is in a new place for several days. A willing listener is equally welcome. Chayn, Kerra, what manner of race are you?

Me: If you're dragons, sorry. Where he comes from that's not specific enough.

Me - Welcome back, Lady Shanai!

Thysal - (twitches her nose where the gecko licked/sniffed her) So, small one, how'd you find Tanner? Are you a traveller of the portals mentioned above?

Niarah - Seymour fights well! You should challenge Kimun once more, my friend (darts in as he's unbalanced and and swings her staff behind his knees, attempting to bring him down)

Rahor - You realize that he'll probably use that against you?

Me - That input was not necessary. Let her fight her own duels.

Zanya - (watches Iri get buried, her green eyes sparkling in amusement) I have to admit, that was the most fun I ever had in the chatroom, considering I didn't even do much. I just love the fact that Shawn literally wiped him out.

Me - Ok, these are the two charries I need to develop now. Ashrai, Sabre!

(Sabre, a tall, slender human/elven male enters. His eyes are blue and have a calm expression. He has short light brown hair, and wears a leather tunic. Next to him stands a tall dark feline, Ashrai, mahogany in color with striking golden eyes. His expression is impassive, and he is armed and clothed like a professional assassin)

Sabre - What is---

Thysal - DON'T say it.

Sabre - There are dragons here?

Zanya - Well, obviously.

Me - Sabre and Zanya are in the same story. Ashrai is with Niarah and Rahor.

Rahor - (spots Ashrai, and his mouth curls into a disgusted snarl) What's he doing here?

Ashrai - (amused) Prince Rahor, I hardly expected to find you here.

Thysal - You seem less than surprised, feline.

Ashrai - I know all about this place. We're from the same imagination, remember?

Rahor - That's the last thing I need . . .

Zanya - (remembering her self appointed position as official greeter) Oh, hi there, Sanah and Ashin! Are you two from the same story, or are you just two random characters thrown together by the whim of an author?

Me - *cough cough*

Sanah: Hardly thrown

Me: Different stories. (And since I forgot to describe them... Sanah is around 18-)

Sanah: I'm not-

Me: Human years. Now, sh! I'm describing you *glares* (She's about 18 Human years old, around 8ft tall, has straight black hair -shiny and kinda Asian-like- and lavender eyes (from her mommy!) As of this moment she's wearing a simple green dress with little gold flowers embroidered on the hem.)

Sanah: Yay! you got it right!

Me: Get back in character.

(Ashin comes back in -- he's in his early twenties, cropped black hair, brown eyes, 5'8" and is wearing a leather tunic with a dark cloak. He also has a sword and other such things but they're not important right now...)

Ashin: Important? Of course they are. *frowns*

Me: Why did you come back?

Sanah: I told him the cat was gone

Me: stop winking at me

Sanah:

Ashin: *laughs*

Me: Humph! I guess the cat is gone

Sanah: it's not like he would follow you to school

Me: STOP IT!

Ashin: wow! can I go to your story Sanah?

Sanah: anytime *starts to wink again, but I my hand over her eyes*

Sanah: *fumbles around with my hand still on her face* I'VE GONE BLIND!!

Me: *sigh*

Pernoxnix: I observed his friend's death from a wall and had him tracked by a swift colleague called Stellwento. He followed Tanner at a distance until he ran away at which time I was able to resume my watch of him. We don't LIKE to pry into the affairs of others but sometimes they need us.

Jay: Why are you... short?

Shawn: *skips around* I'm being dovelepd when I'm 7. *stops* Iri look sad.

Jay: That's developed. So what if he is?

Shawn: *bashful* I don't know. It was me... *runs and give Iri a hug* Thanks for not zapping me when I asked you to stop scaring me.

Jay: Uh, woah. Wait, what?

Azriel: *raises hand* I like cats! WELCOME!

Me: I noticed, Shawn.XD

Kerra: We are dragons. As to being more specific-

Chayn: Kerra can breathe a toxic poison and I can breathe water. Elbas has electricity, and Rowen's the boring fire-type.

Cory: Why did you leave?

Nara: You're a bit inquisitive.

Me: Somebody's gotta take over since i don't have any little girls or Tynx here.

Seymour: Maybe. But I think others are wanting a turn dueling him. [Leans back and swipes at Niarah, then turns to face her, his knees bleeding a bit.] Well, this could be a problem.

Me: Psh! You're half-elf, Seymour, don't complain.

Seymour: I wasn't complaining. It was a passing comment.

Me: Hi Lady Shanai!

Tynx (from the CR): ARIS!!!

Cory: What did you do?

Me: Um, I might have made Mordir a little bit mad. And I might have locked him in a room so he can't get out while he might try to kill me. Because I might have kept him from dueling Aarin, when i thought he'd be able to.

Cory: You really need to avoid getting his nerves.

Me: Not my fault. He's the one who gets on mine.

Seymour: It doesn't matter who gets one whose nerves, you get over there and fix things before I do.

Me: You're in a duel. Stay put. I'll deal with Mordir when I can. Tynx, come back over here. I'm bored without you here.

Tynx: Whoa, new people.

Me: Yes, new people.

Elbas: [Sniffs Betina] What have you against dragons, little one?

Tynx: What hapened to your avie?

Me: I... I don't really know. It just disappeared, and it says at the CP that it's been disallowed.

Me: Aris, you can look in the gallery and find it. It should be in the "big" folder in the drop-down menu. Did you see the announcement today? They changed the avatar rules. Again.

But hopefully it's for good this time.

when I first read yours Shawn I thought it was two guys and one of them dropped a random girl when the other walked into the room... it so reminded me of my brother and his room mate that I hysterically for at least a minute.

Shawn: That's when someone knocked me out of a tree, and Jay caught me.

Jay: And we hadn't seen each other in a long time, so naturally I was surprised and-

Shawn: -you dropped me.

Jay: Good grief, I apologize every time she posts. Look below!

Azriel: "Well, Jay. Everyone knows that the ladies love apologies."

Me: Oh, yeah, duel.

Raedon: *moves fast, but not fast enough and Merashath's talons scrape along one shoulder. He tumbles to the ground, shifts into a human, and stares uncomprehendingly at the blood on his arm*

Telvia: Oooh!!! He's hurt!

Me: He'll be fine.

Jathan: Not good, Raedon. You're loosing your advantage.

Raedon: Just give me a blaster already, would you? I'll take care of this-

Me: Oh, are we wishing we're on a scifi forum?

Raedon: I am a scifi character.

Raedon: I'm tired of this. I'm tired of trying to figure out which creatures have natural weapons, I'm tired of shaping creatures who's instinct it is to kill.

Jathan: Elanhil doesn't seem like he wants to stick around...

Raedon: I'm just sayin'... *shapes into a large, rock-like, slow moving creature from a distant asteroid belt, with impenetrable scales. He looks around vaguely and starts moving in Merashath's general direction...*

Merashath: *Lands close to Raedon and waits* By all means, if it will make the duel more interesting then this, let him have a 'blaster gun.' Whatever it is.

Me: I am by no means tired of this place. I'm considering letting Elanhil and Merashath stick around for duels. Oh, and Jaynin, he asked for it so go ahead and give Raedon a blaster gun.

Griffin: (meets Aarin's sword, brings sword down to the left shoulder, down to right shoulder, then the left leg, and then the right leg in four mighty swings)

Me: Griffin has to many powers?! They aren't really even relevant to our duel anyway! I mean Aarin isn't even wearing armor, is he?!

Negraz: Then let it begin. (steps into the shadows and disappears. Eerie laughter echoes throughout the chamber)

Matt: I'm going to hide. This'll work.

Zanya - And so it begins.

Sabre - Begins what?

Zanya - The battle for ultimate HW dueller.

Ashrai - (purrs) I think it's obvious who's going to win. Although if any of them desire to better their chances against their opponant, well, they know where to find me. (toys with a throwing knife)

Rahor - You creep.

Niarah - (steps back and settles into a defensive position) You may have the next move, if you wish.

Thysal - (Sniffs Tarin, then licks his hair) You're a strange human. Was spraying that in your eyes necessary?

Zanya - Ouch. It couldn't have felt good.

Negraz: (appears behind Kimun and jumps, spinning around to bring his swords around to Kimun's right side.)

Negraz: (his swords appear to dissolve except for their hilts, but as he moves them, they grow back. He moves one to meet Kimun's sword that is stabbing at his side while keeping the other ready for Kimun's next move)

Tesra: This is exciting!

Matt: Eep!

Elbas: [Rumbles in his throat with laughter] You need have no fear. I won't hurt you. Come, mount up and I will show you that dragons aren't always dangerous.

Me: And, flying with her will show her that?

Elbas: Perhaps.

Seymour: [Watches Niarah for a minute, then swings his staff around himself, kicking up (or blowing, whichever) dust, as it settles, he's gone]

Cory: Any blood this time?

Me: Yeah... but no trail! Whoo!

Chayn: And that's a good thing?

Seymour: [Drops down by Niarah's left and swings his staff at her legs] Yes.

Kerra: [Sniffs Ashrai] Do you felines walk on two legs? Or four?

Lance: Alright, you all gotta stop sniffing people, you're going to freak them out.

Chayn: [Snuffles Lance's hair good-humoredly] Relax.

Lance: Oh, great, I'm getting attitude from my dragon.

Tynx: [Laughs]

Me: Thanks, Shawn. I like it, too.

Tynx: If you didn't, it wouldn't be up.

Me: [Shoves Tynx into a big pile of snow] Knock yourself out.

Tynx: Whee!

Nara: Wow, Negraz and Kimun look really powerful!

Tiris: Yeah. I wonder what a duel would look like if everyone's strongest characters dueled all at once, against the rest?

Me: That would be chaotic and most likely someone would get killed.

Tynx: I volunteer Mordir!

Me: Of course you do.

Me: So...um...Yeah.

Lucius: For once she's speechless.

Charlotte: *titters*

Me: *gapes at them* Heeeeey!

Lucius: Poor Jay. You seem to have taken quite a verbal beating from Azriel.

Charlotte:

Me: I feel sort of bad. I really don't know what to say. I don't really have anything to go off. *apologetic smile*

Merashath: [while waiting for Raedon to come closer, Merashath glances at Kimun and Negraz.] I should like to duel one of them when I'm done with this, *Motions to Raedon* slowpoke.

Me: Granted. You can challenge them.

Elanhil: And can I?

Me: Sure! I need to improve my sword fighting writing tactics.

Elanhil: [scans the crowd]

Azriel: "I see you have to take care of your writer too, Charlotte. Aren't they terribly impossible creatures?"

Ashrai - (steps back slightly) Yes, Lady Kerra, most of us walk on two feet. I am Ananthi, so we tend to go back and forth.

Rahor - Half Ananthi.

Ashrai - *growls*

Thysal - Lance, you sound like us dragons have no attitude to begin with.

Niarah - (when Seymour disappears she freezes, and sniffs the air. Sensing his movements, she leaps into the air, barely avoiding the staff. She lands, balancing on the staff, and swings at his head) Close call.

Zanya - You're going to suffer from that move, you know that?

Sabre - Don't distract her, Zanya.

Zanya - *innocent look*

Raedon: I am not slow. She is.

Me: I'm not slow either, simply absent. Here...

Raedon: *crosses back to the barrier* Give me that.

Me: Hey, be nice.

Jathan: I think he's mad.

Raedon: *snatched blaster rifle.* I'm going to finish this right now. *aims point blank at Merashath and fires.*

Me: *shrug* You asked for it. This should be interesting.

Jathan: I can't believe he's firing on an unarmed... creature.

Telvia: Villain.

Me: He's not exactly unarmed...

NOTE: the weapon is like a machine gun, with a continuous line of fire rather than just one shot at a time.

Ok, is it pure light? Or plasma? Or something else? (Need to know before Merashath can make his move. )

Elanhil: What exactly qualifies as point blank? Touching the person? 1 foot?

Light of heaven. That help?

Light...of heaven? Wow. Ok, here goes!

Merashath: [as soon as the blaster begins to fire he ducks, and rolls, and leaps up again, pretty much anything to stay moving. Unfortunately, his left wing is hit once, and he is instantly stopped, and the gun hits him over and over again. The light of heaven would have ended Merashath, except it's wielder is a sinner. Instead his body absorbs the energy, causing him to begin to shake, harder and harder. He lets out a shriek that fills the room, and echoes off the walls for quite some time. He slowly stands up, still shaking all over. He walks towards the source, the gun still firing.]
