Write 8,000 words in my novel and edit 1 chapter per day in my novella.

Main conflict scene with Tinny. Her dad just bear hugged Lost Rat for saving his daughter. A few of the Rats have been honest about their pasts; instead of judging Tinny they are letting her judge them to decide if she wants to join.

Addendum: Recover from finding out that all the extra work I did for a potential project may have been wasted effort on that customer. *sigh* Still, it was a good learning experience.

Not doing well on conflict, sadly. Early readers correctly point out that this book is lacking the "Action Adventure" of the other books so I need to work on that. A lot. I also need to get my back to quit hurting. :(

1. Send off Lensebearers of Huargia to beta readers on Monday
2. Get some worldbuilding and sequel ideas out of my head
3. Get back to TotLW.

Overarching goal - write or worldbuild every day except Sunday.

Happy writing!

Yay for character secrets being revealed! :D

I hope you recover soon, from that and your back! :(

Works in progress:

Tuned on the Luthier's Workbench - Second draft [current focus]
Out of the Twilight - Conceptualized, semi-outlined
And there are many more in line... Apparently I need to get busy...

World Building class

I think you can get the class for $10. I'm thinking of taking my birth month (June) and focusing on world building. If you're interested, let me know. We can probably have a great thread discussing world-y stuff. :)

I did not finish my goals. I got a cold and was unable to work after Tuesday.

I did send off Lensbearers, and got a few ideas out of my head. I did not, however, write every day. Nor did I get back to TotLW. I also realized that apparently I posted this on the wrong week...

As for the world building class, Domici, are you planning on continuing the writing prompts and the world building simultaneously? Our singing schedule will (hopefully) be picking up in June so I'm not sure whether I'd be able to keep up with both. On the other hand, having some accountability has been super helpful! And I definitely need to world build. At the moment the village of Huargia is all that exists in an empty void...

The world is better off if I don't sing, so I'll trust you on that one. :D

I'm going to start revising Book 1 in my series so my schedule will be busier than originally planned as well. Would later in the year be better for doing the world-building venture? I'm going to publish on Amazon Kindle by the end of October. May or may not do NaNo, depends on how fried my brain is. I take December off for New Year's Dissolutions, as well.
