Yeah! I'm actually using several for World Ember, but since I can only have two worlds set up on World Anvil, I've split them into Laeonesse and Velaiar, which is basically everything.

Is this more geared toward Speculative fiction? If so, do you think it would be helpful for a historical fiction author?

Not necessarily! While many members of the World Anvil community are spec-fic writers, there are also loads of historical fiction worlds there as well. The site itself is designed more as a wiki and to be as useful as possible for as many genres as possible.
