Weekly Challenge #326: Write about a strange food combination.

NaNo challenge: Exceed the word count goal for this week

Directions:
1. Post on the challenge thread, declaring the goals you have committed to. This must be done before midnight on Tuesday.
2. When you have finished your goals, post on the challenge thread again, stating what goals you have completed, how many times you have completed them, and whether any of them were combined.
3. At 10AM on Monday you are not allowed to report any more finished goals, and the challenge is over.

Rules:
1. You can repeat the weekly challenges, and get more points, but if you repeat your own personal goal, you will not get extra points.
2. The organizer has the right to veto any personal goal that seems too easy (i.e. writing a sentence).

Points:
You can earn points by:
1. completing the weekly challenge
2. repeating the weekly challenge
3. completing your personal goal
4. combining your personal goal and the weekly challenge

I deliberately waited until the last moment to see who else would join in. It looks like you were right earlier. It may be time to think about shutting it down.

Weekly Challenge: no takers, so I pass on it as well.
NaNo: I am not participating in NaNo, so I pass.
Personal Goal: 100 words and Continue to draw Log Cabins.

What do you think of shutting this down, atpollard? Will your daughter be joining us anymore or not? I'm willing to keep it up if people are participating, but it does take 15-30 minutes of my Monday to do this, so I am also totally willing to stop doing it and use that half hour in an activity that will be more productive for me.

Holidays get hectic anyway, so let’s shut it down until at least January.
That will give people a chance to see how they feel about it being gone.
We can try a short reboot next year and see if there is any interest, but if it is just you and I, we can just write short stories on the board wherever we feel like.

The challenges were more fun when more people participated.

(Sarah has some end of course exams in Nov and Dec, so she is pretty busy. She wants to write some Hotel Transylvania fan fiction when she gets some free time.)

Sounds like a plan. Thanks!
