For lack of a better name, this is my blurb for Nick & Herb's Story

Two friends find themselves on opposite sides of a brewing revolution. Their attempt to remain friends and find joy despite their chaotic world causes a whole new type of revolution.


It's kinda short, but there you have it.

I'd have to say "Tell me more!" I'm intrigued as to what the revolution is about, why they are on opposing sides, and what this 'new type of revolution' is.

However, I have to ask, could you maybe add a sentence of two that might raise the stakes a little? I understand remaining friends is a huge stake, but does this new type of revolution add anything to the stakes? Are there any barriers that they have to overcome in order to remain friends?

This is an excellent plot frame--revolution never gets old!--so you'll want to add more details to show how this revolution story is different from, say, Hunger Games. You'll also want to convey the genre. Is this historical fiction? Sci-fi? Fantasy? What are we revolting against?
