Has anyone every read Bone?

One the greatest graphic novels I've ever read. It is a perfect combination of high fantasy and down to earth humor.

And it was originally self published by the author. So that's a plus.

That's all I'll say about other than slips these in here.

Last spring when we were visiting middle schools (since we live right between districts and get our choice), the principal asked my daughter what books she likes reading and when she said manga, he gave her the first volume and told her to just give it back sometime. If we hadn't gotten a state scholarship for a private school, that would have made our choice right there.

So we read that first volume - it was cute. Daughter's only issue was she thought the characters are actual bones which grossed her out. I found the humor rather amusing - like when the blanket of snow literally drops in a thick *whump* all at once. I should see if the library has the rest.
