Gresh, Greish-- The physical power behind the Shadow Maker these hulking animals appear stupid, but soon prove their opponents wrong.

Despite their less than bright looks, Gresh have a culture, and style of fighting all their own, developed over years of guerilla warfare. Their favorite weapons are death flowers, throwing stars with tiny retractible barbs, that can be poisoned at will.

Gresh also have their own language, mostly a series of grunts, and sounds that are impossible to be uttered by anyone without their unique voice boxes.

Unknown to most, the Gresh are the offspring of demons and Shadow Dwarves mingling together to create their own unique race.

The Shadow Maker is yet another villain of mine. He is one of the fallen (grimace) Ffloyds, and yes, that name will TOTALLY be changed, I made it up when I was ten, and it's NOT going into the finished copy.

He has the ability to enter someone's mind without permission, and to shape shift into anything he pleases.

The Gresh are large in body, facial feature, and claws. They generally have very thick hide, and are extremely intelligent.

I originally had him as the Shadow Weaver, but decided that was too cliche. I'm not sure which I like better!:D

Their skin...is kind of like human skin, only it's a lot drier, and has they have little tiny white scales on their elbows, knees, and their feet, and hands.

If the Greish are very intelligent beings, do they have to follow the Shadow Maker or can they choose to disobey?

There have been a few Greish that disobeyed, and left their people, but they were met with execution from the other side, and alienation from their own people. So they died out soon.

Now, most Gresh just accept what they were born into, because it's too hard to leave.
