Hi, some of you might remember me (Ophelia!) from when I first joined years ago.

I'm Jordan Elizabeth. I write. Even when I try to avoid writing, I write. Mostly poetry and short stories (and newsletters for work). I publish some of them on my blog http://jordannewhouse.wordpress.com

I got this idea for a Fantasy Novel, so I decided to come back here and see if I could be motivated to actually build the world and write the story :)

I don't have internet access at home, and I try not to be distracted at work...so I don't know how active I'll be.

The idea has to do with a world in which sight is abnormal. Over the generations, peoples' literal sight has degenerated and only a few people are not blind. These "seers" therefore struggle to live normal lives amid the blind. Some react by essentially becoming blind while others refuse to see their sight as a disability.

I'm beginning to play with world building... What would a world built by blind people look like to a seer?
